The obvious solution would be to deage her back to 21. :D
While not a bad idea in its own right, it doesn't really solve anything. Something isn't suddenly not creepy just because your body gets a little more vital.
Heh, this was amusing. Why the early update though, Zoat?
On the weekends, I think he does it because he expects to wake up late and doesn't want the chapter to be posted late for the rest of us.
But all this ship teasing Zoat does is rather annoying. He's spent at least a dozen snippets, not including this one, engaged in various kinds of ship tease. Some of it was necessary for character development and interaction. A lot of it was not, and he should really just skip over it, or summarize it so it doesn't consume such a disproportionate amount of time (for instance, this encounter with Seline could have been summarized in one or two sentences when discussing the wedding).

While I'm not the biggest fan of shipping myself, I think Zoat's been fairly reasonable about this stuff. None of it has really been outside the bounds of what could pretty easily happen IRL, especially given his musculature and non-dickish personality. While the three way thing I will concede was a bit over the top, it wasn't bad, especially not given how it might have been.

Skipping the character interactions, as said above, would detract significantly from the story.
Waiting till older won't help since the ring is keeping him purpetualy that age.
He will physically be however he wants to be so long as he has his ring. This has no bearing on his mental age, the age which people actually care about.

I admit I can't remember why he stuck with this lie in the first place.

I can understand someone either claiming their actual age (which is what Grayven did) or shrugging their shoulders and deciding that their apparent physical age is what counts and embracing that (which, after all, is exactly what Kon and M'gann both did).

I can't remember why he started lying about his age in the first place, when he's clearly not comfortable with embracing it fully and, e.g., dating people his apparent age. (And, yeah, Paul's done enough tapdancing around the truth that it's more him deceiving other people than them just making a mistake as to his age. There were ample opportunities early on, such as when the issue of school attendance came up, that he deliberately didn't clear things up.)

Did anyone forget to pick up their phone? because I fucking called it!
liked the chapter, and the idea of two of the super-set getting caught by someone with sudden onset couples disorder is fun...
especially since the reaction is so commonplace as well, a bit of an eyeroll then some solid bitching about mutually annoying acquaintances.
Fun update!

Welcome to the world of stupidity, where the SI of a fanfiction story keeps things secret that don't need to be secret for the sake of drama. If I were to do an SI story, what I would do is tell people I to trust me the truth, consequences be damned. I mean, what is wrong with telling the people that you are from a different dimension where the people are characters from an TV series or comic book? Is it really that shocking? At the absolute worst, you will be disbelieved.

A combination of panic and not wanting to be kicked off the Team that he's become emotionally invested in. And of course the more you lie, the more embarrassing it becomes admitting that you lied...

They might think you are crazy.

I recall a Worm SI fanfic had that happen; he let people know he's an SI, and the PRT decided that he's an insane precognitive who is imagining that the information his power gives him is from a story. Of course the funny thing is, in-universe they might be right...after all, what's more plausible? That you are a work of fiction, or a guy in Worm with superpowers is crazy?

And what exactly is wrong with that? And why does everyone keep talking about Worm? It isn't that popular.

I just counted eleven worm fics on the first page of this forum, and thats just the ones that were tagged - there are probably several more that aren't tagged as worm fics.

For OL specifically, it would be rather hard to prove to most of the people he knows that everyone is a comic character. 1, he has a power ring, so just about any information he tries to present as something he knew from comics can basically be explained by scanning some database or other. 2, he legitimately doesn't know the specific DC timeline he is in, and so can't reliably predict future events, or at least not in a useful timeframe. He only convinced Constantine because Constantine's stories don't have nearly as much... divergence as other DC characters, and most weren't recorded on any medium accesible to OL.

Question: Was OL de-aged? Or was his consciousness transferred into a younger-looking body?

I was watching Disney's "Hocus Pocus" with my niece and nephew when it dawned on me that sometimes solid matter cannot cross dimensional barriers, so if OL's consciousness was transferred into a younger-looking body, he'd technically count as a virgin.

In magic and symbolism, being a virgin (or at least a female virgin) has several benefits and drawbacks.

Deadman: "Are you sure it's safe to be traipsing about an evil temple?"
Constantine: "Don't worry, only the presence of a virgin can wake Trogdor the Burninator from his enchanted slumber."
(insert sound of monster waking up)
(everyone turns to glare at OL)
OL:  "What? I happen to be saving myself for the right person..."
Madame Xanadu: "Awww, that's so sweet. I wish more boys were like you."

Oh Blight, my sweet summer child.

As a matter of fact, I actually am. And I am kind of stupefied by the number of people who like it on this website. Its over-saturation bores me.

As a rule, I like superheroes. But so many people talked about it that I found myself hating Worm even though it is a superhero web novel I've never read before. Similarly, I found myself going from liking Madoka Magica to hating the show because of how many people make quests about it. It is so frustrating because I have never felt that way about anything.

:(

How did poor Deadman end up with that group? :lol

Ah, the dreaded Hype Backlash.

Well... think of England, because Worm has been going strong in popularity on the SV/SB/QQ trifecta for years.
