I can't wait for OL to start handing out rings and teaching new lanterns the lessons he's learned. You can just imagine what the Heroes of the new Corps will be like, with Paul at it's head.
I suspect that he might offer Lex a ring, on about the same basis as he himself obtained a lantern - Lex swears a binding (Gaia and Ophidian enforced) oath not to use the ring for evil (or something to that effect), and, in exchange, gets a ring.

Very few people think of themselves as 'evil'.

Assuming Paul succeeds in getting the Central Power Battery, he can add a third level to that and use the threat of having the connection shut off as another means of control.

Clearly, this is a case where one of the rules of Radio Dead Air's "What the Fuck is Wrong With You?" segment comes into play: "All corporations should have a 14-year-old on retainer at all times, and whenever they come up with a new marketing plan, they need to run it past the 14-year-old first; if he giggles, snickers, or otherwise laughs over it, scrap the idea and try something else--particularly if he's trying to hide his laughter from the old farts who don't know any better..."

Oh my gosh you watch the show?

He needs a better grasp on how other people can use the ring without going crazy before he starts handing any out. "Crazy benevolent Luthor" would if anything be worse than "sane not-benevolent Luthor".

Also, Lex Luthor is exactly the sort of guy who would effortlessly and shamelessly find the loopholes in such an oath. Both Grayven and OL did, remember.

He could always pull a Sinestro and upload a copy of himself to the ring for active monitoring.

I'm sorry, Lex. I'm afraid I can't do that.

I love how the mere mention of Constantine's name instantly makes her believe the most outrageous and impossible shit. Kept laughing so much I started coughing.

This makes me remember the time they were summoning demons in Atlantis and everyone was freaked out because everything they summoned knew and hated Constantine with a passion.

Although it should be added that Constantine was the one picking the demons they summoned, which changes that scene a bit.

Thanks

@Mr Zoat here are the epubs I made up to now.
The Season 1 epub is completed and up to date as of 09/04/2016
The Season 2 epub will be redone once the transition of the story only thread from SB->SV is finished

epub for Season 1 (Episodes 01-26) [MediaFire][MediaFire Alt. Formatting][GoogleDrive] by @Twilight666 (corrections added up to 09/04/2016)
epub for Season 2 (Episodes 27-40) [MediaFire][MediaFire Alt. Formatting][GoogleDrive] by @Twilight666 (chapters up to 09/04/2016, corrections ->26/12/2015)
Note: The Alt versions have background color deep blue and default text color white. Also the transparent text has a darker color as both the background and the text color, and it is also in black borders.
Also both versions have XenForo like threadmarks between episodes while the Alt Versions has similar threadmarks on the individual chapters

Also @Mr Zoat I think adding threadmarks for the episodes in the story only thread would make searching (and browsing) through it easier. Have you thought about it?

He was transitioning around inside the Thanagarian ship in I think chapter 22.
He wasn't carrying Nth metal with him at the time, and he only went within line of sight.
But doesn't Nth metal also throw off boom tube generation though?
More than a certain amount does, yes. He could get to the bridge because it was relatively exposed.

Thank you, updated.

The Story Only link on each episode takes you to that episode. Changing the links for each story post would a) be a pain in the arse and b) make it difficult for people to read the comments associated with that part of the story.

About this Luthor business: I don't think offering him an Orange Ring is wise at all, whatever oaths nonwithstanding. He'll go crazy in a very short time. He's dangerous enough sane and without a ring. Who's to say he wouldn't kickstart ON with it?

Same. There are 6 billion other people on Earth alone who might make better Lanterns, and then there's every other inhabited planet to choose from besides. Why make a big deal of one guy, when it's probably best to just leave him to do what he's already doing? He could also be hired as a civilian consultant for the OLC if they really need him or something.

There must be a healthy gossip going on between them all.
And now I want a scene of deities and spiritual beings gossiping about the mortal world's latest trouble-maker.

Everyone in the supernatural community seems to know John Constantine, so OL's frequent association with such a well-known and infamous person might cause word of his reputation and deeds to spread faster than it normally would've.

Plus, I imagine that supernatural creatures use knowledge to barter promises and favors since they don't have "fiat currency" like humans and each species/group has different materialistic priorities if they have any at all in the first place.

Nabiki-Eris: (shouting like a carnival barker) "Information dossiers for sale! Find out about the latest happenings in the mortal world!"
Melinoe: "Do you have anything on the Lantern of Orange? Not that I care or anything..."
Nabiki-Eris: "But of course! And it can be your's for just 30 gossamers or two goats!"
(hands over two goats)
Melinoe: (reading packed) :rage: "What?!?! That magician's daughter tricked him into living with her in Shadowcrest Manor?!?! Oh I am soooo paying the trollop a visit!!!"
Nabiki-Eris: :ninja: "Mwa-ha-ha! All according to plan!"
[(*Nabiki is a greedy mercenary and info-broker from "Ranma1/2"*)]
"Don't go on a date with a Hekatonkheire. They're all hands."
When Cottus starting forming hands, for a second I thought OL was going to make a comparison to the Helping Hands from Jim Henson's "Labyrinth" starring David Bowie.

Is OL old enough to have seen the theatrical release of "Labyrinth"? Or did he only see it on TV or Betamax/VHS? I heard the movie was better received in Britain than in the US, and has a stronger following there.

Didn't he grab a number of Nth metal weapons to fix Hawkgirl with?

Doesn't that count if he has Nth metal on him though?
I believe it only stops the boom tube from forming, and only if one of the apertures is completely encased in sufficiently thick Nth metal in all directions. I doubt it necessarily prevents the transportation of man-portable Nth metal artifacts through an already-open tube, and to my recollection he never used Ring-based transitioning with the metal on him in that scene though I may be wrong.
