Something to think about is that the Silver City doesn't have anything against people speaking to the souls of the dead that live in them. Since Constantine was able to do it all the time. They just seem to have a thing about the servants of pagan gods contacting their dead, probably a noodle incident involved in that.
Monotheism. Jealous god and all that; they want to pretend there's only one god in a setting that has many. Even if they have to hurt people in the process. Makes me want to see Grayven slap around an angel or two.

"You know, I'm told a fellow once managed this with a chainsaw. But I wanted to see -"

<RIIIIP!!>

"-if muscle power could pull it off. Heh, pun."

What does this signify? Is Paul yawning?
The "Pffffff" sound is Paul trying to muffle his farts.

Stone hallways echo like crazy. Every cough and sneeze is amplified ahundred fold.

Hades: "The Chaos-bringer* approaches!"
Persephone: "How can you tell?"
[(loud echoing fart)]
Hades: "Oh, just a guess..."
Persephone: :sour: :sour: :sour:

*The gods need a nickname for Paul since he instigated the break up of Zeus and Hera. Is there a Greek phrase for "homewrecker"?

And then, what, Michael Demiurgos shows up and Grayven is fucked?
Slapping around angels as a general policy doesn't tend to end well when Heaven has the biggest and baddest asskickers around.

He's a bit old for that.
Bah, anyone can do the snoopy dance. :D

To be fair there is only one capital G God in the setting, there just also happens to be a lot of lesser smaller g gods.

Mind you even with that choice I would still go with the Presence since he is the only God with a known feet of creating and existing before the universe which says a lot more about the permanency of his afterlife then anything put together by gods that came into existence after the universe.

@Mr Zoat, an old typo:

It should be "Nyssa".
Intentional error. The SI hadn't gotten around to checking her name and misremembered it.

I haven't made a definite decision, but I'm probably not going to use him.

Constantine carved up Gabriel, and somebody made the Ace of Winchesters out of an angel. Clearly it is perfectly possible to assault and kill angels and get away with it.

That assumes that they are in fact "smaller". In a story that's a mix of settings and written by an atheist I wouldn't assume that to be true.

Technically you already have, since you had the Source which is just the Intelligence aspect of the Presences infinite scope.

That said you could always ask the guardians about the giant Hand, though they would probably abruptly change the subject if it was brought up.

Wasn't Gabriel being a massive dick?
The Presence might just have approved - which, admittedly, would probably not sit well with Constantine given how contrarian that guy is.

And, well, you mentioned Angels, so multiple servants of the Presence would be killed, which could be enough for the Presence to go "yeah no" and then Michael comes along.
Anyway, Grayven should be smart enough not to risk provocation at all... especially since he don't know just who threw him into this universe.

We've had something called the Source so far, but to my knowledge it hasn't been explained in any depth by someone who should know its nature on Earth 16.

Gabriel =/= Michael Demiurgos in DC comics, Michael is the one who kicked the Spectre's ass and was equaled in power only by Lucifer.

This story takes place on Earth 16 which is an official part of the DC multiverse does it not?

Sorry if it was already discussed : I just watched Justice League vs. Teen Titans. I found it okay, although I wish Tara Strong voiced Raven though.
What did you guys thought of it ?

I think you missed the important point though, Earth 16 while lower powered and with different events then what you would see in the rest of the DC multiverse is still part of the DC multiverse.
A multiverse which Mr Zoat has to reconcile with the mix of settings he's writing. Why do you presume he's going to bend over backwards to cater to Christianity like the DC writers do?

Accidentally provoking them Dresden style is more entertaining.

Reach out to shake an angel's hand, only to trip and accidentally punch said angel in the face.

Lucifer: "Dang, bro! You cold-cocked Uriel!"
Gravy Train:   !!!

Tara Strong did voice Raven...

Why do you think Zoat has to reconcile the mix of settings that exist within the same multiverse and don't contradict each-other?

Why do you consider it "bending over backwards" for a setting to exist where X actually is true? o_O

That said we should probably take this to PM at this point.

Of course they contradict each other. Single characters have internally contradictory stories, much less the whole mixed setting Mr Zoat is welding together. That's what you get when you have decades of writing by multiple authors.

Insisting that "X is true" in this case is bending over backwards.

How's that?

I want link 'Highway to Hell' for this update but that doesn't quite fit.
So who all knows outside of Themascyria (pretty sure I spelled that wrong) that Paul is doing this? I'm almost positive that Diana doesn't know, since she would probably say no, as would most other sane adults.
