I've seen death note. That crazy loyalty and obedience thing is basically her core character trait; she's obsessed with the main character, and would do anything he told her to do, up to and including sacrificing her life to further his plans. I really rather hate her as a character, but presumably Zoat doesn't feel the same way.
Ever watched DearS? In that, the main character has someone just as slavishly devoted to him and he's forced to become a decent person because he isn't enough of an arsehole to take advantage of it. In Death Note, after her initial murder spree is finished, she's static and enables Light be be static as well. In this, she isn't really the focus, but she has been spending time acting against central African militants on her own initiative and has played a part in 'friendising' Sunset.

I find the MLP thing way weirder, if only because... well, she's a pony. In human form, now, but still.

Admittedly, there is a whole continuity of My Little Pony where all of them are humans and attend highschool, so there is precedent.

You know, honestly, I find the Death Note crossover thing more confusing than MLP.
Wait, Miss Amane is a crossover?

Makes sense, I guess, but I have no familiarity with Death Note. I just know she wanted revenge on her parents' murderer, Grayven declined to do it but gave her Garrick+Awakening so she could go after the guy herself, and now she works for Grayven and worships the ground he walks on. And he calls her the New Goddess of Death.

I have no idea who Amane is or why she has the whole crazy loyalty/obedience thing going on.
Amane is a beautiful but mentally disturbed lady who falls in obsession (she calls it love, but let's be honest here) with dominant personalities very easily. Think of her as a dumber, more reckless Harley Quinn. In canon she falls into Light's orbit after he starts being called Kira; she finds a Death Note after its former owner uses it to save her life and therefore dies. She cottons on to the Kira murders being caused by a person and falls in "love" with the idea of a murderous avenging angel. When she meets Light he uses her obsession as a tool in his battle with L.

Tldr Misamisa is loco and Grayven hits all of her obsession buttons.

Quite a long time ago. Renegade is now at least as good a story as the main story line IMO.

The main story is still my favorite, and I started out rather disliking the Renegade bits. I slowly warmed up to it, and then we had the "Stars, Crossed" arc which was so fricken epic. So now I happily follow the adventures of the big grey god too. I really enjoy his relationship with Lynne and the Frees.

... self branding and the branding appears on them painlessly by magic.symbolizing their special talent. Removing them actually removes that talent and associated skills, or at least makes you worse at it.

... MLP has a surprisingly in depth analysis of the magic of "Cutie Marks". Comes with having Celestia's other big student as a main character.
I was kind of exaggerating to make it humorous, but fair enough.

The one where Sunset Shimmer herself is actually from. And the necklaces. And the Kelpies hinted at.

Uhhhh . . . The reason Misa was obsessed with Light in canon is because she was grateful to him.

A home robbery went bad and the burglar killed her parents in front of her. He was arrested and his trial dragged on for a long time, with rumors starting to spread that the wrong person was being accused of the crime. He just happened to be one of the people Light killed as Kira.

Grayven: Yo, you have unexlopded magical ordinance chilling out in one of your museums.

Head of state: Fuck.

Grayven: My thoughts exactly. Let's head off whatever plan your local supervillain is trying to plot and stuff that thing somewhere protected by murderbots, magical hellwards, and the greatest tech this side of space Jesus.

Head of state: Yes, that would be a good idea. Also, should I have to worry about, you know...

Grayven: Nah, England was kind of a one-off deal. Just don't become cannibalistic diabolists and we should be good. As a gesture of good faith, let me clean up the streets of the city for you.

Head of state: Wonderful. Also, would you be willing to discuss things with the UN and help us address the decision-making process? It's in dire need of an overhaul.

Grayven: I'd love to but I have a pony to help. Mail any and all invitations to WorldDominiator69@G=G.net.

The one question I have, is there any way for Zoat to link where he got the name Wilson from?
The earlier occurrence I've tried is a non-existent video...

Sadly, no. I PMed the woman who made in on Fanfiction.net and this was her response.

Hi Mr Zoat, sorry for the late reply.

I am the same Jareisa who made the ghastly gravity video. The video, along with the others I made, was taken down because I deleted my channel. The main reason why I did that is because as time went on, I kept feeling more and more distant from the fandom. I didn't want to maintain a channel that I didn't feel anything for anymore. I'd like to start getting into other things, and I wanted to "start afresh" in a sense.

I'm sorry for taking down something that you liked. I do appreciate that you watched it while it was up. It makes me happy to know that I was able to make something you enjoyed.

All the best,

Jareisa

They were killed? A shame. The music of the sirens was the best part of Rainbow Rocks.
When Sunset Shimmer first appeared discussion of the Sirens popped up. Zoat noted they would have appeared in trhe middle ages, and the heros of the DC universe at the time were not adverse to lethal measures. So he WOG that the Sirens were killed back then by some hero or another.

Wait? There is an official continuity where MLP has been subjected to a bad fanfiction plot?

Yup. the thing is its not half bad..... OKay the first movie is pretty cliche average, but Rainbow Rocks the 2nd movie where the sirens come from is really good and gives Sunset a great reformation arc (Which shouldn't be a problem here as Sunset is more emotionaly stable than in EG first movie).

and the third movie has this gem

and Daydream shimmers form

(Rift prefers that to the 4th movie and beyond 'magical form' of Sunset)

Based on how cutie marks are supposed to work, getting anti-lifed would make the mark vanish until they recovered (if they recover) yes?

Did Spike achieve avarice enlightenment?
Could changelings feed themselves with a violet power ring?

is that Danish humour or is their no love lost between the parties?
I think it's normal political humour.

Equestria better pray it never comes to that, but yes. While Anti-Lifed, their cutie mark is replaced with an omega.
Did Spike achieve avarice enlightenment?
Not in any episode I've seen. If you're talking about his birthday episode, his love overcame his avarice. If he achieved enlightenment then he would be able to achieve giant form at will.
Could changelings feed themselves with a violet power ring?
I'll allow it.
Since there are more than two options, "Any" instead of "Either".
He was referring to Mr Zatara's house as being the place the League could put it.

Honestly, using IRL politicians or political parties always felt a bit iffy. Linking to their wikipedia pages only serves to pull you completely out of the story.

There's a reason YJ uses fake countries for pretty much everywhere that's not america. (North/South Rhelasia, Qurac, Bialya, Kandaq.
