Dude, you almost had a complete (dirty, dirty) story here, and then you left it hanging.
Canis's 'mega rod' is tiny, but he is more than skilled when he takes on what?
You should have risen to the challenge, and went as deep as you need to, repeatedly, until you found another typo to complete this unintentional commentary on size vs skill in as lewd a manner as possible.

I swear, it's like no one even Datcords anymore.
Only @Datcord can Datcord properly. Imitators often end up just making unfunny jokes.

Zoat the Amazons sit on a gate to Hell, why not make them fight monsters? Too Buffy like?

Heck they live in the Bermuda triangle, why not make their mission to prevent abominations to escape?

I genuinely expect Siskin to show up again, probably after slowly reforming himself after being discorporated by having his vessel destroyed.
I caught this on a re-read
"They've got no way to manipulate you any more. No way to control you. You're a psychic weapon far more powerful than the one Geotroniks built; your golem body will be far more resilient than your old flesh one and even if it got destroyed you could still maintain your integrity-."

"If you know a better magic user, I'm all ears.
Timothy Hunter, or at least, once he's become adept enough in his education at the White School that he can hold his own with the likes of Mordru... or Circe.

CIRCE: Well, far be it that I judge another's skill in The Craft, based on their apparent age and appearance. So boy, any final words before-?

TIMOTHY: Sorry, didn't you give me a tattoo once?

CIRCE: ...WHAT.

TIMOTHY: You put a big butterfly tattoo on my back so I wouldn't hurt an old girlfriend of mine. Didn't really work out of course, but then months later you showed up again to help out with this problem I had with a bunch of angels and demons going to war against each other. Remember?

CIRCE: Child, I recall NO such happenings. And if there WAS a war between the heavens and the inferno, rest assured that I would NOT attempt to stop such a thing.

TIMOTHY: I don't think you were ever this homocidal before... Oh! Are you alternate version of her? Well that explains it! I've dealt with a similar problem myself you know! Oy, that glare only cinchs it. You really DO look like her! Course, she's got better fashion sense, and better hair.

CIRCE: Prepare to die.

TIMOTHY: I'm prepared to live.

Exactly. What makes it so bad isn't that he died, it's that his soul was destroyed. That's what makes hell so bad. It destroys souls. That's why this setting's rules means OL really *should* kill all the missionaries.

Canonically, in the comics, that's where it is for... Some reason.
Dates back to when ships and planes got lost there. It's a place that was mysterious, could both hide something like an island and have that be found by accident, and it was relatively close to protagonistland the United States.

Or did you mean in-universe? Umm, they moved the island there one day, using bees? My god, IDK...

"Delos, now held in place by solid earth,
once floated on the purple sea
and as the wind urged moved lightly here and there,
tossed about by the waves.
Then the god (Leto) bound her with twin chains,
with one to Gyrarus, and with the other
fixed her to firm Myconos."
-Anthologia Latina (the birth of Artemis and Apollo)

Wonder Woman Writers Waxing Whimsical?

That's a myth. It has roughly the same number of accidents as any other shipping lane. The story was pure invention.
Wrote that poorly, but yeah I know but the people who made the WW live action series in the 70s either didn't know or care. Guess when DC got rebooted the writers watched the series if I am interpreting the Wikipedia entry correctly.

"The sorts of people who fall prey to Demons on Earth are generally long shots for going If we can just transfer the whole lot into Hades' care, or.. give them the choice..?"
"Yes please" for OL transferring them to Hades' care.

Three reasons:

=(1)we'd be updated on COTTUS (the Hecatonchires) and the fallout of Apollo's false vision, as Greek gods are infamous for their petty arguments.

=(2)we'd get to see Melinoe the tsundare demigoddess of nightmares and madness, and how she has adapted to recent social changes.

Question: Does avarice enlightenment count as a type of madness? Mr.Zoat has stated that OL no longer thinks like a baseline human, and mentally has more in common with an elemental or anthropomorphic personification. If avarice enlightenment does technically count as madness, then Melinoe might be drawn to OL like a moth to flames.

=(3)The whole "giving them a choice" reminds me of the D&D setting "Forgotten Realms" where deceased souls wait for divine servants to take them to deity-specific afterlifes.

Link: Fugue Plane

During the ten-day waiting time, baatezu (a.k.a. devils) are allowed to inform souls of their state and bargain with them. Souls are offered the chance to become devils themselves, usually starting as a lemure but having the chance to advance through the devilish ranks, possibly even becoming a pit fiend. This is the main way baatezu propagate. The prospect of becoming a devil may seem abhorrent to good-aligned mortals but those who follow evil deities and those who fear what awaits them in the afterlife are much more likely to take up the offer.
