But, he does have a Daxamite orange lantern who would probably be happy to talk to him.
Just as soon as they convince him deep down that Clarks clan is not evil like he has been raised to believe since birth.. because if he subconciously believes Clark is evil and he WANTS to defeat destroy evil....

Paul: Right.... involuntary subconcious ring discharge... forgot thats a thing.

Guy *smugly*: You know GREEN LANTERNS never have that problem...

nondeterministic transponder
... wait, what? A transponder that you can never be sure about? What does THAT do?

Missed a couple of necessary Americanizations.

Hawkwoman would agree with you
Contextually I think "would have agreed" is probably better.

Someone talking does not spell their words. People can talk without being able to spell.
Someone needs to read the FAQ...

This sort of behavior is probably less common on our Earth than it is on Earth-16
Oh, you sweet summer child.

Wait Why didn't you guys Read the reports?

TLDR

Ladies and Gentlemen I give you the Justice League, bugger.
Plus I get the feeling she was going to follow up with something like "in his civilian identity"
["Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for attending this fundrais-woah!"]

["Oooh, hello Mister Wayne. Please don't mind me, I'll show myself out. Didn't mean to interrupt."]
Oh I'm sure Paul would probably drop some of his gold coins in the donation box first.

So you See Mr Wayne with this new Vault is made of Promethium alloy and enhanced with Atlantean sorcery.
It's completely impenetrable.

*Knock Knock*

Can someone let me out, I appear to have teleported into a secure vault.

*GURK!*

Paul you just broke the sales rep.

Terribly Sorry about that, if you'd let me out i can make a proper apology.

@Mr Zoat curious about something relating to Alan, you already stated he is mostly green light at this point yeah? Will that slowly be converted into blue light since he is now using it or will it simply become more empowered since blue light gives green light users a power boost?

@.@ Good grief, wiki markup starts getting messy when conditionals and tables collide. I tried to make a template to make it easier to read and it didn't work even though the documentation says it ought to... but whatever, Template:Characterbox is a lot nicer now.

We've been speculating on that for a couple days now and we've not gotten a WoZ answer yet.

We don't have any evidence that the Guardians are doing anything about the Reach, but given how little information we have about the inner workings of the GLC in general and insight into what the Guardians are thinking, we wouldn't expect to have any evidence. I talked about this a few days ago, but I'll expand here. The Guardians could be doing something like building powerful weapons to fight the Reach or enhanced their existing Lanterns. They could be making fleets of Maltusian tech ships for civilians to crew. Oa is a planet, and the GLC is only visibly using a small part of it. They could be getting ready to turn Mogo into an unstoppable battle station. We don't know.

Or, they could recognize that the Reach's ability to wage war is expanding faster than theirs, and go another route. They could, as I mentioned before, be socially engineering the rest of the galaxy to eventually fight the Reach as a unified whole. They could build malicious AIs designed to sabotage the Reach in any number of ways without their knowing it until too late. They could be encouraging internal strife so that the Reach empire devolves into civil war.

The important thing is that given our current level of knowledge, we wouldn't expect to know if the Guardians are doing any of these options or even all of them. The Guardians are secretive, but we generally know they're intelligent an well intentioned. Extrapolating from a lack of information that we would expect to have regardless of what the Guardians are doing is... Bad speculation.

Or, maybe the Reach just aren't as high a priority as we think they are. The Guardians may consider Darkseid to be a much bigger issue, or something else entirely.

Finally, WHY are you TALKING like THIS?

emphasis that SEEMED a good idea to a sleep deprived brain >.<
(as allways) you make a lot of good points in your response- ill admit im a little cynical about the Guaridans, and..should..probably try and be a little less so.

*sighs* i keep worrying about wither or not they actually do have a plan, because historically their response to making a mistake seems to be to IGNORE it- their response to their robotic enforcers going on a genocidal killing spree was pretty much limited to hiding the evidence after an entire sector had been slaughtered (and if i remember correctly they still use some of the bloody things!),
to our knowledge they never bothered with a followup mission after the catastrophically botched intervention on mars (they would likely have discovered the crashed transport on earth, and even if they did check in to make sure the genetic alterations stuck, they never bothered fixing the environmental damage), their response to one of their finest getting captured by Darkseid was to start purging all the records about him from the archives...

... oh bugger me, i think Paul's contempt for the bobbleheads is contagious >.<

Nah, I hate the Guardians too, and their conspicuous lack of response and transparency regarding the comic events Paul accused them of makes me feel like they're... not Third Army-level bad, but they definitely need a change in leadership, even if it's just getting a few of them to get their heads back in the real world.

"Oh, don't worry. I've learned how to teleport." I raise my right index and middle fingers to my forehead and step out.
Y'know, in retrospect it's easy to see how Grayven diverged to such a magnificient troll so quickly.

Personally I still believe that "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer" was the reason Nabu got into the league... although I do fear that members of the League may very well have adapted to the new status quo. I think that seemed to be the case in the original timeline?

Greetings, I usually don't like to create accounts for every story or fanfic I read, but, after consuming this story in a couple of days like an addict with his last fix I thought it merited a proper acknowledgement and words of thanks to the author, and why not, some participation in the discussion if I feel I have something good to say.

So, Mr Zoat, may I say Thank You, Gracias, Danke, Grazie, Merci, Obrigado, Arigatô, in as many languages as needed, to express my gratefulness and appreciativeness for the rich story, derived from a very pleasant animated series, that you have weaved and continue to expand. Honestly, just the facts that you seem to update daily and that you intend keep doing so is extremely impressive.

My salutations as well to the rest of you fans of this wonderful tale. And now, I think I need a re-read, see you gentlemen and/or ladies around.

His lifespan is indefinite, the same as mine and yours. Alan?"

"Yeah?"

"Try not to get shot in the head."

Alan chuckles. "I can't say I was planning to anyway, but sure."
He could wear a kinetic belt full time. Unlike the ring it can be inconspicuous, and it makes him essentially immune to any accidental or deliberate mundane damage.
And she left the sword. A supervillain could make a decent career for themselves with a weapon like that. I
A decent, incredibly short career, ended by the realization that gun beats sword.

I should probably create a page on the wiki with all of the Zoatisms I can think of. The FAQ doesn't cover everything.
And many readers, me included. I could definitely see it. And Alan would probably be considered the best choice by amazons, as far as a male partners are concerned. And now that he's fully immortal and is also a slowly ascending godlike being, just like the nascent titan Diana. Of course the small issue is that their children would look like a scary reenactment of Greek mythology - new gods posed to dethrone old ones.
I don't ship Alan and Diana, for one simple reason. I don't think that mortal hips can withstand Diana's... vigor.
I think Paul just wanted to boast about his new capability, but saying

"Oh, don't worry. I've learned how to actually teleport at infinite speed instead of just transition much faster than the speed of light."

is a bit awkward.
The speed isn't the important part, not necessarily. It's that he can teleport without teleportation equipment/constructs at either end. Transitioning is probably better in combat when it isn't being jammed, as he can maintain constructs if both ends are connected with a filament, and I think there is some delay while he reorients himself in Avarice space with his teleport.

Also, he can take other people with him if he transitions.

Since Zoat seems to be writing the Guardians as not being dickheads, even if they might have some problems with admitting that they made a mistake, I'm not inclined to assume the worst without some clear evidence.

Also, unless I'm mistaken, we only know that the Manhunter chassis are still being used. The chassis were fine, it was the software that was defective. It may not be great PR, but so long as the software has been replaced with something better then it's fine.

Unless of course you're bullet proof...or have some kind of highly durable armor. Honestly? In comics, more heroes and villains die from falling down then they do from being shot.

I don't ship Alan and Diana, for one simple reason. I don't think that mortal hips can withstand Diana's... vigor.
I'm incredibly pleased that I'm not the only one who thought of this. For years I've wondered why so many men obsess over getting it on with Diana. It'd be the most nerve wrecking thing ever! You do a bad job, and she squeezes her legs and kills you. You do a good job? She spasms, squeezes her legs and kills you. Butt grab pull? Like a winch arm pulling you into a block of steel.

Power rings are awesome.
"Bloody hell Alan! Diana's about to go cowgirl! Hope for the best man!"
