...I almost feel sorry for Luthor dealing with impossible demands from an alien warlord who has no idea how things work with the restrictions he has due to what said person put him through. Almost.

EDIT: Grayven's making his own Think Tank! It'll be like Paul's, only later, probably more politically focused, and at least partially made of people who hate him!

"Though do feel free to destroy my window again: I've almost gotten to the point where I miss Superman doing that."
I think this is my favourite part of the update... and worrying if Grayven may have supplanted Superman for Lex's least favourite alien.

To be fair, Grayven, you left Lex in a pretty bad spot, all things considered. The fact that he's alive still moving forward is pretty good. It's not like he has a power ring!

Really Lex got off pretty easy when it reality he was part of a terrorist organization that killed millions for "reasons''. I get hating Grayven but come on you got so mad at superman for being a boyscout and Grayven comes in and does exactly the opposite , its just karma.

I have to admit. It does amuse me to see Renegade tripping over his own problems the minute he turns around.

Lex, meanwhile, is a smooth operator. He is managing to get his resources back together and is evading the demands of an alien warlord in part by... going legitimate.
Mind you, I'd be much more impressed if he intended that.

(Comparing Renegade to Klarion is a truly excellent burn, though.)

Renegade arc! Anyone that remembers the last renegade-Paul chapter should realize that there's a real chance for a personal encounter with Grayven or another encounter with Darkseid this arc.

What's with the minus numbers after the GMT time? I usually just glaze over it, but now its bugging me and my phone google has failed.

Why is Grayven even bothering to make a Light 2.0 again?

He agrees with the goal statement of uplifting the Earth and not get facerolled by an interstellar empire coming to add it to the collection. He disagreed with the methods the Light and so now he's trying to make his own Light with blackjack and hookers.

This is complicated by the fact that he was evidently counting on Lex to network for him when the man both hates his guts and is under heavy government surveillance that will happily shoot him dead if he takes actions like, say, reach out to individuals of less than legal persuasion for the purpose of forming a group to pool resources behind for nebulous goals.
