Actually I understand the Predator was portrayed as saner as that.

That there was a storyline in which it possessed a stalker and the Predator's attitude was basically "Dude, I have one word for you- therapy. Look into it."

A far cry from its attitude before the war of light, in which Carol was pregnant because the Predator raped the Star Sapphire possessing Carol. Until Carol sold the rape baby to Neron in return for an exorcism of both Predator and Star Sapphire.

Yes, that storyline was in the nineties, why do you ask? ☺

Why do I ask? Because, you didn't mention anything to do with drugs. Seriously, the 90s "darker and grittier" produced some f***ed up things. It almost seemed like a child screaming "I'm an adult, watch me handle adult subjects." Then going so over the top that the summaries stop being horrifying and start being jokes.

I didn't mention drugs because that just goes without saying. I'm pretty sure DC pays its writers in drugs and booze.

For example. At one point Green Arrow was dating the oiriginal Black Canary.

Then someone at DC decided that Canary playing Mrs Robinson to Ollie was creepy.

Their solution? To have Black Canary have a child cursed with a sonic scream. So her buddy Dr Fate (if I'm remembering this right) put the baby to sleep permanently and stuck her in a pocket dimension.

Until Mama Canary needed an upgrade for some reason, so they transferred Mama Canary to the young adult body with sonic scream that never developed past infancy mentally.

So Ollie dating an older woman is creepy, Ollie dating a woman who is her own mother, A-OK.

Obviously lots of drugs and booze went into that decision.

So yeah, comics have always been fucked up, it's just how they're fucked up that changes with the times.

Aaagh, just had a great idea for an episode... Problem is. it would be focusing on the Teen Titans Red Lantern.

See, I once read the first three Halo books. And they were terrible. But what really struck me about them was that after a third of the people John grew up with and trained intensively with died and another third were crippled, his response was 'eh, whatever'.

But what if he had an actual personality? What would a group of super soldiers do in a situation like that?

In this setting, knowing they couldn't escape but utterly hating their instructors, they started a suicide ritual in order to deny them the resources they represented. But before they could bleed out a red ring came for their leader. This changed their objectives; they broke through the cordon around their quarters, seized the armoury and started tracking down and killing everyone involved in the project which created them.

The Titans answer a distress call from a group of scientists under attack by Red Lantern Corps uniform-wearing soldiers. Atrocitus won the soldiers loyalty by using magic to heal their crippled brethren, but he fully encourages them to continue their crusade. The Titans request that the Red Lantern convince them to back off, and he responds with 'they've been lawfully sentenced to death, you realise that you're basically protecting Mengele there right?'.

"Cursed and defaced
Scarred and disgraced
Tainted by rage
Only death can erase

Creators betrayed us
We know who to hate
Vengeance is coming
And you can't be saved."

I see no problem focusing on TT Red Lantern for a spell. Would kind of like to see something following the Indigo Lantern in The Boys also, please.

It sounds like a great idea to me - maybe for the 2018 April Fools you can have OL visit a bunch of his multiversal counterparts, and fit it in there?

Also, by the way, is red lantern Paul in the Teen Titans universe or the Teen Titans Go universe? Some people say it's one, some say it's the other.

... Someones been playing Bendy and the Ink Machine.

I like the idea behind it, especially the whole "You know...the soldiers are kinda in the right here..." bit.
....wonder if Red!Paul will gain some allies?

I just wanted to stop lurking for a moment so I could chime in on Red Lanter Paul.

Yes please. Seeing the other Paul's once in a while is a great way to shake things up a bit. Red Lantern also happened to be my favorite out of all the alternate Paul's.

Angry Paul best Paul.

So basically their leader receives a red ring, and the Titans ask Red Lantern Paul to convince them to stop? At first it read like RL Paul was their leader.

I wasn't sure if this was actually a reference to Halo or Bendy and the Ink Machine, as I haven't actually played any of the Halo games. Kinda disappointed that it's not, as that got me pretty interested in Halo for a minute there.

I think it would it would make a great side story or another April's Fools episode, especially it gives an insight to how the other versions of Paul are doing compared to the Paragon and Renegade versions, similar to the romance route done on QQ it could be uploaded once a month instead of daily like the main story.

Teen Titans Red Lantern.

I mean I've been ignoring that whole arc, but sure go for it.

Also just finished reading this (-most of the evil Paul parts), nice story.

Also also, not knowing much about DC why wouldn't setting up the indigo light as a pair system with the orange work? So they had two CPB

Someone not Zoat made an omake with a teen Titans go! Red Paul.

Zoat liked it enough that he added a teen titans cartoon red Paul to the story.
