When did Grayven get Filaments? I was under the impression that was an OL-specific thing.
I was under the impression that OL could use filaments from the start, as part of his general not-using-power-rings-to-form-giant-g̶r̶e̶e̶n̶-orange-fists thing he has going on. Merging with the Ophidian just let him make them even smaller, though I don't recall where he actually said that.

No, Zoat has specifically said that filaments were a result of just how damn skilled OL was with the ring.

Yeah, the Vega DLC gives a ton of exp and technology points doesn't it? It almost makes the whole Kord Tech sidequest useless. I bet you're glad you finally got around to buying it, even if it was a little expensive.

Yes and no. The Kord Tech sidequest, while the best easy XP in the main game, is more about upgrading Earth's defenses and tech for later quests. Remember, if you don't have the prereqs, most foreign tech doesn't last very long.

Thanks

With boxing gloves on the end, to come full circle.

That reminds in prime continuity DC added expies of expies in the various universes based on thunder agents, one based on image, one based on astro city, etc.

The expies of Youngblood would drive Paul batty, their archer harnesses the Glow of willpower, one of the most impressive technologies in the DC franchise, to shoot people with arrows.

Kord Tech sidequest useless.
Dude,
EARTH tech. Ridonk OP. Just, y'know, no plans, no prototype, no backup.
Even Volthoom never thought to make a backup Dimensional Lantern.
Now, skipping the bucketload of powerful arcane engineering from earth, we have mind swapping tech, brain uploading tech, zeta beams, purple healing rays, Gravity Rod, and it's upgrade, the Cosmic Staff, Superpowered cyborg tech, several types of power armor, superpower granting genemods, time travel tech....

"You have a great deal to offer the world, Sunset. But you are actually going to need to offer it at some point." There's a whoosh of displaced air as Wallace appears. Since he couldn't-. I frown. Hey, what? "New costume, Kid Flash?"
The link is broken. It might be simpler to simply use imgur links.

Here's another link, as yet unbroken that might make a good stand in. https://speedforce.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/wally-brettbooth-461x700.jpg

"Her", assuming we're still talking about the same female guard.
Thank you, corrected.

Thank you, updated.

I also appreciate how determined his guards were to fight back despite how blatantly outclassed they were. And also how they completely ruined Grayven's attempt at a Darkseid Moment in the process. Well trained, they are.
Unless of course Grayven was a little bit meaner (Or just more like the real Grayven or his Father Darkseid) in which case they all would have died for absolutely nothing.

could those staves be like the force lances of andromeda or the stave used by the SI in Cause and Mass effect. tough material, extends, uses smart munitions and packs a bit of a punch.

I mean, yes schizotech is pretty OP for it's level, but a power ring can do half of that stuff and it only takes up a single small equipment slot! Sure it's really high level, but if you pass enough speech checks with the controllers they'll make you as many as you want for you and your allies, and if you take the easy route and kill Larfleeze he has hundreds of them sitting around. Sure you only have 1 lantern to charge them from, but still.

I know... Earth items are practically artifacts, BUT, they're still basically craftable. Personally, I'd like to get my tentacles on whatever the symbiotic bacteria was the Malthusians got infected with, or Kryptonian life-extension tech, that was so good - WITHOUT using cloned parts - that they were practically immortal, and had to regulate their population.

But y'know, properly munchkined crafting is OP, much like enchant in skyrim - or so I hear. Of course, that all is taking the easy way out. It would be interesting to see someone use social-fu and friendliness to make friends and get super powers.

I mean, sure, on paper lanterns are WAY at the top, but in practice what we see them doing, they're not _that_ impressive, with their FTL transport, tanking nukes, supernovas, black holes...
*ahem*
Okay, raw power, sure. Maybe it's just comic logic that makes them less than impressive? They come off as meat-heads, most of the time. Also, hoo boy Paul's constructs are fragile compared to high-WP green lanterns.
Lost my train of thought.

Maybe green rings are just functionally different? I mean, to do anything with them you have to concentrate on it really hard. And concentrating on something like, I dunno, a simple fist shape might be easy, but good luck concentrating on the exact shape of the wiring, capacitor mechanism, rails, etc of a railgun all at the exact same time(or, the exact properties of all the construct parts, since you don't necessarily need wires and other bits if the rails construct can generate electricity from nowhere). And the Guardians chose green because its stable, not because its the most powerful.

Granted, I don't know what excuses the other colors have, but I also don't understand how you'd hope or compassion a railgun into existing anyway. As far as orange rings, to my knowledge no one has ever had one and remained sane for any period of time, so we don't have a good reference point for a competent orange lantern. Theoretically, for a orange ring you just need to want something, so if it wasn't for all the fiddly bits and details a orange ring would literally do whatever you want. Honestly I'd call orange rings the best rings bar-none if it wasn't for the fact that it has to be a 'selfish' desire, and then all the other desires are divided into emotions semi-arbitrarily.

I was thinking of that, but apparently, four GLs can pool their work to conjure up a FTL spacecraft.(Action Comics #589) Of course, three of them were aliens, so maybe one of them was just very good a memorizing and visualizing?
