Build the interdiction field generators in transport blockers set them up to be turned on with a thought. Disable the Space Station's Communications take out all the assholes on said space station before they can do anything stupid it to their rape victims. I can't think of any other reason they'd have any slaves up there. Scan the system in locate to all the various slaves that off planet grab as many of those slaves as possible as you turn on the FTL blockers. Starting with the two princesses of course.

Also the part I quoted is incredibly stupid and implies that your character isn't taking this seriously at all.
He... sung on his first meeting with Queen Hippolyta and that actually went well. And Paulphidian did the same to people to make them at ease with the whole cake situation.

It also helps that Paul is a human and the only other human they knew also tried to help them, I am sure they remember Adam Blake fondly for what he tried to achieve.

If Brütal Legend, Monkey Island and Scott Pilgrim taught me anything, it's that all conflicts and debates should be resolved not by song but by guitar duels.

The song was... a little out of nowhere, in this case. On the other hand... given how bad Paul has been at explaining himself directly... maybe adding a layer of figurative language (a song) is appropriate.
It's just a shame that this is a comic book universe and so there's no-one out there who can teach him better diplomatic skills. He's already at about the same level as Wonder Woman, it seems, and she's actually a diplomat.
People talk about comic book physics, but comic book social interaction is just as bad...

With all the songs that have been coming up in this fic, I'd be surprised and downright disappointed if the Music Meister didn't show up at some point just so Zoat could make an entirely musical arc. : p

I wonder what successes Blue-Paul has had with song so far...

Also I like to imagine that Alan Scott is daydreaming about the good Paul is doing followed by a snapshot after snapshot of Paul singing across the galaxy.

I hope this fic goes long enough to deal with Trigon, so that Paul and the team can banish him with Blackbird.
On the current outline, only the Renegade encounters Trigon.
I think that should be either "with them" or "with the team" or possibly "with the [something else]"
Typo:
That should be either "on" or "at", not both.
Thank you, corrected.

Considering Vanyel's fate (mortal, not post-death), the Si might want to be a little wary about going up against ridiculous odds.

You know i hope we get a twist as amazing as darkseid showing up again, seriously i absolutely love getting blindsided like i was with that chapter and i just hope Zoat can pull something similar off again at some point maybe with OL.
To be honest OL seems to be much less full of conflict and suspense than renegade and a bit boring due to it, yes there's fighting but i never expect OL to lose, while renegade is playing dangerous power games nearly all the time there's always an element of risk. We saw the catastrophic result of his power games of using grayven as a name when darkseid showed up.

Yeah, I fully agree with this. I mean, it was funny, but it's just plain silly and definitely comes across as condescending and mocking. The fact that Paul thinks so little of the king that he is suggesting that the king might understand what he's trying to say if he sings a song about it is equivalent to treating him like a child.

Perhaps it's an aspect of Tamaranian culture that was mentioned in an out of the way comic and never brought up again?

Remember that horrific scene in Batman vs Superman? Picture that for Paul. Anytime he is on a planet that isn't protected by an interdiction field, it risks collapsing into an inferno beneath his feet because a rock was flung fast enough. We know he struggles at working at a large scale. Cataclysmic disasters that are also too fast to react to? That fear really won't go away.

Are we all in agreement that someday Paul will go too far, say, trying to resurrect someone?

To be fair, "Invite them in" broke Paul and Ophidi-chan out of their clingy stage, so Paul has a much stronger view of what the power of song can do than we do.
