" But before we carry on this discussion: Father Box."

"Ploong."

"You were passing information about my activity to Father, weren't you?"

"Ploong."

"Why?"

"Ploong."

I nod. "I suppose that makes sense." My right hand comes down hard on the table surface, Father Box' broken remains lying in fragments beneath it.

...I see you did the Father Box gag to the end, Zoat. Points if his reason was "why not?"

Comics, slightly altered by events in this story.

Gordanians are equal opportunity rapists, so... Yay?

They still have the remains of the Flesh Titan. And the damage was spread over a limited area.
That's understandable of a bit depressing. I always felt that the animated series gave a lot more room for expanding plot with the Tamarians if only for it's lack of much concrete information.
Also it's pretty hard to make Backfire remotely empathetic with her comics origin.

Besides, the animated series gave birth to Best Jinx! :D

Does the Renegade remember that comic where Green Arrow and Captain Atom killed Darksied? Because other than that, the only plan I see maybe working is that anti-sabbac/Klarion/Mordu chop-chop technique. Does Renegade even have a plan? Maybe look around for a squirrel-girl-esque goddess of defeating things she shouldn't be able to? Catch Victini? Ask the life entity politely to revoke Darkseid's living privileges? Trap him in a dead universe? Get help from the fifth dimension? Actually, at this point, tracking down characters known to have direct lines to the author of the work sounds appropriate. So, bat-mite?

Good god, maybe he'll retire to attract the attention of Paul-mite. Now that'd be meta.

Anyways, rip father box, he was arguably not more trouble than he was worth for a period of time.

Maybe go to Earth negative 12 and contact its Darkseid? I mean, if it's a negaverse where everyone good is evil and vice-versa, then Darkseid there might be a good guy.

Why go that far when Highfather is in this parallel?
It is more about convincing them (Darkseid or Highfather) to act, really.
Good or evil, they're both remarkably passive.

You all are overlooking a resource Grayven has to call upon that is present on earth.

Someone who not only outwits Darkseid, but does it ANNUALLY.. to Darkseids FACE no less

Never pick a fair fight.

Bring both.

Think bigger.

Like S'ivaa who laughs at divine powers including omega beams. Sure it risks the destruction of the space-time continuum, but doing foolish things is the way Grayven rolls.

Or arrange for Darkseid to get sent to his room with no supper by his father, Yuga Khan, who also laughs at omega beams. He only eats planets like Galactus though.

Speaking of Galactus, DC has its own equivalent of the Celestials too- Overmaster, who travels from planet to planet causing mass extinctions if he doesn't like what he finds. Darkseid has mentioned that Overmaster might show up on Apokalips to judge them.

"No, Daddy." She pulls away, sitting up straighter. "You shouldn't do that. D-Darkseid is trying to do to everyone something worse than what SHADE did to me."

"Yes, but he's been working on it for a very long time. Six years is the very least I owe-."

"Everyone needs you to stop him. And the only thing I can think of that's worse than him doing that to us again is him doing it to everyone. We have to stop him."
And then the reason Grayven shouts at the Source Wall is because it took his daughter from him.

Well no soul talking was it just repeating 'Self = Darkseid' again?
