Well, we know Kyle contained the radiation of the blast, so I'm sure he'd have survived. We've never seen something as powerful as a nuke hit DCAU Supergirl (or another Kryptonian or "Argonian"),
Pfffft. Hahahaha, that mental image is gonna stick with me.

I know what you meant, but I'm now just imagining that the the 'Tsunpergirl' Grayven has been flirting with this whole time was a superpowered lizard girl.

....Alright, I'm gonna need you to explain that joke to me. Are you saying the Queen of England is secretly a lizard person? Or has superpowers? Or is that just a really sideways tangent based off of my use of the word 'flirting'?

You aren't very far off with the lizard person guess. A matter of scale, really, as you're really underselling what sort of monstrosity She really is. This handy bit of reference material by Neil Gaiman will certainly educate you about the true nature of England's royal family: http://www.neilgaiman.com/mediafiles/exclusive/shortstories/emerald.pdf

David Icke has been warning us for years that the Royal Family are shapeshifting reptilians.

I'm fascinated by that tangent though. I can't see it at all.

Edit: Wikipedia: "Icke identified the Queen Mother in 2001 as "seriously reptilian.""

The 04/02/2009 episode of "the Daily Show" had a bit where Michelle Obama hugged the Queen of England which is socially taboo for royalty. John Oliver says the queen is poisonous and people who touch her risk getting swallowed whole like a snake, going on to say "Why do think we let a +80 year old woman rule Britain? It's because we're too terrified to get close to her!"

The clip "Changing of the Garbs" used to be available on the Comedy Central website but cannot be accessed at the moment.

Breathe! Breathe!

Some of that would revert due to your body's own upkeep systems and the data you need for genetic rewrites that precise doesn't exist.
no but in a world of super-humans, aliens and magic users (i assume that this would be one of the first things anybody would check with a ring scan)
i can scann others who display the traits i am looking for and since pretty much all super-humans on Grrl earth look like supermodels...... its a pretty safe beat to say that it is probably genetic, im feeling confident

Certainly, you could turn yourself into a clone of another person. Of course, quite a lot of the super powered characters we've seen so far exercise regularly as part of their job. Copying favourable genes doesn't guarantee you stay that shape indefinitely. Then of course you have to deal with the massive alterations to the hardware your mind is running on.

I should probably catch back up on that comic, seeing as people are feeling the need to post the recent pages over and over again on this thread. That's what, the third time in a few days that that interview segment's gotten linked to? And the second time for that specific page?

at least its not aquaman singing. no that is not an invitation

And the problem that if you've just got a power ring and have neither experience nor an instruction manual to go by, you have no way of knowing what awful thing you might accidentally be doing to yourself. And with no way to recharge, no ability to undo any mistakes.
