How would Paul handle being dropped into Narnia?
You mean the place where Santa Claus shows up and hands out magical artifacts to kids, Jesus hangs out as a cat, and some of the denizens come across as child molesters (looking at you movie Mr. Tumnus)?

He'd be confused as all Hell and then solve the witch problem with railguns. Then politely ask the nice Jesus-Cat for a way home.

Saying "no" to a marriage proposal from someone you aren't romantically involved with is not a jerk thing to do.

Hell, it's not even a jerk thing to do with someone you are romantically involved with. People have choice and agency.

I have to assume people are more basing the opinion on her talking shit in literally every scene she's appeared in. And also her complete inability to read the mood and social cues in the most recent update. There are mitigating circumstances in the latter at least, but still.

Talking shit? Adom said that she was giving helpful advice.

He picked her up and flew her a quarter of the way across the country while draped over his shoulder.

Her actions in this particular instance isn't what make me call her a jerk. Her consistently confrontational and offensive attitude, to everyone not just Adom, is what makes her a jerk.

I leave the tsundere option open because it is possible that she does genuinely care about the people around her, rather than just 'the people' in general.

Presentation is important. Just because the jackarse has a point doesn't mean they stop being a jackarse.

Always amusing to see Paul, a being who regularly throws around what could easily be labelled as godlike power, calling someone else Mighty One.

Nice to see that Adom is capable of moving on. Shame he picked either a tsundere or an unmitigated jerk to try and share his heart with.
As RichardWhereat said, I think Mighty One is his title. But still, I think part of it comes from the fact that Paul deeply respects the guy. He had every reason to obsess over a pair of enormous grudges--both against the guy who stole his body and his power and made a mockery of his name, and against the Lord of Order whom betrayed him and destroyed everything he worked towards in his life. But in a "trial" by gods, he quickly reigned in his anger and decided that being the better man--being a true hero--was more important.

He "wakes up" to find that his kingdom is gone, everyone he ever knew has been dead for thousands of years, the world is almost completely different from how it was when he last lived, and the only guy around whom even speaks his language is OL. Oh, and the country where his kingdom used to be is ruled by an oppressive and corrupt regime. He still takes the time to acclimate to this new world, learn the gist of its customs and culture (and history), learn new languages, etc, before returning to his homeland and...helping to spark a peaceful, popular uprising through essentially pacifistic-through-overwhelming-might means. Not so he can install himself as leader, but so that he can help his own people establish a democratic government of its own.

Oh yeah, he also gets along well with his successor and Shazam's newest champion, not blaming him or holding anything against him.

Even if calling him "Mighty One" is primarily out of politeness and decorum, OL probably holds Adom in such high regard that he feels like Adom is actually deserving of the title.

Adom looks thoughtful. "Of late, I have found myself surrounded by men and women who revere me, who serve me though honest loyalty or simple sycophancy. But in all of that, you are the only one who speaks her mind to me. And no matter how vehemently I have disagreed with you, I find that in your absence I miss your sharp mind and.. even your tongue, a little."

He bows his head, holding out the Amulet to her.

"Will you accept this power, this authority, and stand besides me as my equal and as my wife?"

Ms Tomaz, eyes wide, looks at him, the amulet and then at him again.

Then she reaches a conclusion.

"No!"
I think something that most people are missing, aside from @dhasenan :
I imagine it's a "no, I want to marry for love, not politics".
Is that this is primarily a political move on Adom's part. He is emphasizing her ability to stand up to him and her intellect, with only a single line about how he personally feels about her. He wants her to be his equal in terms of actual power and in political power, not because he loves her, although that is part of it, but because he believes it to be in the best interest of his country. I may be incorrect about her motivations, but she is likely rejecting the offer because in the modern times marriage is less commonly done for political reasons, so because she doesn't especially love him she's rejecting his offer. There will likely be some mutual confusion in the next update.

Well reasoned. I hadn't considered Adom like that before. In terms of personality, he would be a pretty ideal League member, although they might not like his willingness to kill his opponents.

He's not going to become one, as he is a major political figure, and his powerset is something they already have a lot of.

Yes, those would be the mitigating circumstances I mentioned. However, maybe it's just the British in me but if I hear someone very deliberately switch from normal speaking voice to very reserved, quiet speaking voice telling me to stop, I take that to mean "shut the eff up right effing now".

Possibly a little after he somehow winds up in the "Mundy" world of Fables, which being a Vertigoverse is connected to all the other DC/Vertigo Universes.

The "Mundy" world is called thus, because magically, it's almost as bone-dry in magic as ours seems to be.

Guess you could say that world doesn't appear to vibrate as high on the magic/energy level like the YJ one, and that universe had it's magic almost squashed out by the Guardians!

(Apparently, the local living embodiment of Editing, Mr. Revise, did almost as good a job as the Time Lords did in their universe!)

On the other hand, In the Fables cosmology, outside the "Mundy" World, all fictional lands exist in parallel/alternate world's known collectively as "The Homelands", and they are absolutely FILLED with magic and supernatural phenomena of all kinds!

Each world's landmass is basically the fantastical version of one Mundy country, like Albion, (England), The Rus (Russia), or Americana (you get the idea).

Then there are worlds that have little to no resemblance to anyplace on Earth, like Oz, Middle-earth, or Narnia, so Paul eventually paying a visit there, if only to satiate his curiosity, could certainly be possible!

Of course, if Paul does wind up in the Mundy World, I don't think the Fabletown authorities won't care much a flying-orange man going around, fixing things, since they're trying to keep the existence of anything supernatural secret from the "Mundys"...

BIGBY WOLF: ...SON OF A BITCH!

Supposedly no one in this fic holds idiot balls. Everyone acts according to their character and environment, except the Justice League, which is just a podium for the SI to show they "just can't handle the TRUTH!!!1" and bash them over the head with issues the author made them ignore.
I just want this fucking episode to be done with, it holds no enjoyment for me and each update is worse than the last.
Wow. Salty, eh?
You don't have to read it, and good people make terrible decisions for lots of reasons.

...so is Paul an accomplice to kidnapping?

She kinda was yelling for Adom to put her down and unhand her the entire way while Paul just kinda shrugged and let Adom take her where he wanted to go.
