Yes, but remember, that Naboo's days are numbered. They took out a Lord of Chaos specifically to have a better chance at killing Naboo (a Lord of Order) in like, a weeks time? Well, that and Klarion just needed to be out of the picture, the worthless cunt.
Nabu is a Lord of Order. Naboo is the planet where the fluff romance stuff from Attack of the Clones took place.

Well, yes, but is Klarion in John's old body? Because that thing is quite dangerous given all the demonic blood and other stuff connected to it. I wouldn't want to leave Klarion alone with it.
Oh dear. It might become some kind of demonic, chaotic John/Klarion nemesis devoted to hunting him down and making him pay.

It can get in line.

Well, Teekl still says witch world when assimilated doesn't she? So there's got to be SOME kind of connection, no?

I wouldn't think so. The Seven Soldiers Klarion is not from Witch-World, he's from Limbo Town, which is under New York.

Witch-World is another planet or a planet in a different universe that the original version of Klarion is from.

I tried reading Seven Soldiers. I liked Shining Knight, sort of liked Zatanna, but it felt like I was walking in on the middle of a really weird series that I had trouble comprehending. I dropped it around when I started reading Manhattan Guardian, and there were subway pirates and it just felt so needlessly bizarre.

Needlessly bizarre is a good way to describe a lot of Morrison's work, actually.

That was Klarion.
No password.
Cause why not have one?
Because there is no password Klarion couldn't have ripped from John's broken psyche if he'd won. Also, Klarion isn't really into deferred gratification. If he was back, he'd be throwing red lightning.
Thank you, corrected.
Who?
So... other important questions would probably include:
1) Etiquette. Is "Lord of Chaos" a noble title recognized by the British government? Given the stuff about demonic cults and such, I am willing to bet it is. John's reaction when addressed as "Lord" could be quite fun.
It is not acknowledged on any official documentation. On the other hand, bed, gorilla.
2) Reaction of John's friends and family. I mean, his niece is in the "fascinated by magic" stage, right? And the visit to the Mount Justice probably didn't help with that. And now her cool uncle has a) achieved immortality, b) became a peer of the realm (of Chaos), c) became much more powerful, and wealthy (because I am fairly sure he could now conjure gold and do other stuff like that). And John can probably teleport now - would he even need Chas's services?
John was seldom short of money, given that he can use psychological and sympathetic techniques to win in almost any gambling or chance based contest he cares to enter.
3) Reactions of John's associates. Swamp Thing's reaction would be interesting to say the least. League's too. If Naboo is at all rational, he would probably agree that, on the balance, John is better than Klarion, as John is less likely to actively try and spread chaos and misery and all that stuff.
John did sort of get Nabu's host's wife killed.
Anyway, the fallout from this is going to be long-reaching and very much interesting. People should probably write omakes about this.
It's just about possible that some of that might come up in the story proper.

For his part in defeating Klarion and bringing him to justice, John Constantine will be lauded around the world as a hero.

Meanwhile, Eris is laughing her ass off.

John does not have the House of Mystery. That was New52 Bullshit.

And if John had the House of Mysteries being a lord of chaos would be a downgrade.

The House of Mysteries is made out of condensed reality with which the owner of the house can use to rewrite reality itself, as demonstrated by Fig Keele and her successor Lotus Blossom over in Vertigo.

One of Fig Keele's feats was creating the Omneity, a reality warping hive mind that was this close to assimilating every universe in the DC franchise and all the minds within.

Let that sink in. Darkseid, a being with god like power, seeks the Anti-Life equation to conquer the universe. Fig Keele basically made her own, by accident. Probably with a stray thought along the lines of "Why can't people just get along?"

I can see John having to deal with various major supernatural forces wanting to talk to him and get his measure, since if he could humiliate hell as a mortal, then as a lord of chaos...

So the Devil's Treanchcoat is his familiar.
I can see all the chaotic power that now courses through it making the coat even more powerful and willful.

Yeah, Darth Vader's coming over to blow it up with the Death Star.

...wait, what were we talking about again? :V
Last time Paulphidian was active, they moved the moon.
This time, no moon.

Although, actually. It occurs to me that a lot of the planning Paul has done seems to assume that the Ophidian will not be making an appearance to smack Nabu down - although with the Staff of the Star Sapphire, Lord of Chaos Constantine, and a stockpile of Mageslayers he may not need to call her up.
I suppose in a sense, if he calls the Ophidian there's no chance of keeping things quiet-until-the-press-conference - it'd be less like an assassination followed by an announcement, and more like a kaiju fight.

You forgot Map, Teth Adom, a swarm of construct demons, a certain someone from Cornwall, and possibly (to Paul's chagrin) Alan Scott.

I thought that Map was just going to make sure that Nabu stayed within the intended area, to prevent fleeing and reduce the chances of extreme collateral damage.
... The rest of them, though. That's quite the line-up.
And now that I think of it, isn't Jade involved too? Possibly just in the planning phase, but on the other hand - give her a gun that shoots Mageslayers and let her use those assassin skills...

You know, if Alan's ring charge gets too low, Paul might ask him to come to Maltus so that he can get a new Lantern as fast as possible. I suspect that it would be an interesting conversation, discussing that possibility - not to mention we might then get Alan's perspective on the Controllers first-hand.
(Are the Controllers able to make a green Lantern if they so choose? Or is their preference for orange something they don't have the materials to bypass if needed?)

Some scenes from Constantines perspective about him dealing with becoming a major player in the magical world would be great.

If his trench coat is now his familiar, it is probably now a fully mobile entity in its own right.
Think about it; now it can get itself laundered and cleaned at a high end laundromat, and take itself to a tailor to get repaired and spruced up, all while paying for everything with his owners wallet.
Of course, now constantine has to deal with all the money his trenchcoat has spent, as well as all the magical contamination that was spread when all the magical gunk was washed off.

Living Clothes eh?

...wonder if it can act similar to Judith's cape
