Ah, the clip show episode intended to save budget after the Thanigarian fight blew the budget. Points if you somehow pull an epic fail like Farscape did and somehow launch your entire ongoing plot out of an attempt at a clip show that ended up a two-parter with maybe four minutes of clips in it.

... I honestly think that this is the most pleasant that I've ever seen Grayven. He's just having dinner with some friends and telling stories. No calling people out on their stupidity, no slaughtering the guilty, no committing Apokoliptian crimes against nature... it's just really nice.
From the looks of things the baddies didn't bother to research their opponents properly; possibly they were operating under the "not a New God = not important" theory. Either that or whoever handled intel wanted Devilance to take a beating.
