Also engineers build scientist invent. Mad scientists aren't engineers because they don't limit thenselves to build something that already exists.
No, scientists discover. Both engineers and scientists can invent, and it's far more likely that the engineer's invention will be physically realized.

Unless you're suggesting that there's a fairly sizable overlap in "people who are engineers" and "people who are scientists" -- that is to say, that there is a significant population of scientist-engineers who have both sets of passions and both sets of skills, and it is this population that is responsible for building new inventions.

The I in it's shouldn't be capitalized. And I think build up should be one word, although I'm not sure.
Quite possibly
So that it
I think 'it' should be removed to make the second sentence work better. As it is, it reads "Her memory hasn't been reconstructed it in her own mind"
Set off
Thank you, corrected.

I'm now imagining Paul and Apollo commiserating over their mutal lack of game.
"No, I have Human Resources and the entire Vapor library loaded onto the ring."

Personally I think drawing a hard distinction between the two is silly given the amount of overlap there is even in the job market.
I'm doing a re-read.

The Queen of Fables in the Story Only Thread is extremely amusing.
I went over Exfiltrator recently and I found it hilarious when OL said he would be throwing around 'heavy constructs' when fighting Black Spider and Hook, and he used like some needles, a claw or two, and a saw. Contrast that with the fights past New Year's. In Homecoming, he made a 60 meter railgun like it wasn't even a thing.

No. There are many kinds of what we would call cazy that have strong positive qualities and Thaddeus Sivana as a character has none of them.
It'd be better to say he possesses none/few of them NOW.
In the past he did genuinely wish to contribute to humanities advancement (the prospect of potentially making Luthorcorp look Like a quaint third-rate company was definitely a factor). But now...
At the least he DOES still care about his family...

Did anyone else feel a VERY faint hint of Genuine moral outrage about his new Opponent?
Think about it. They STILL are showing signs of the same stasis/social resistance to innovation that drove him past BREAKING point years ago.imangine how many MILLIONS of OTHER potential Eienstins, newtons Hally's and Turings would have been treated similarly in that timeline.
If nothing else, THAT would have a chance of getting to him deep down...

Nope. He pays tribute to Helios, not Apollo.

Derp. I sorted those two together into the same mental bucket of "sun god".

So how does all this work in the DC Universe, specifically Earth-16? Helios is a Titan, and Apollo is an Olympian?

Do the Roman gods also exist in DC? I vaguely recall some discussion about that, but I don't remember what the conclusion of that was. It would get a little weird if there were three or four sun gods still banging around from related mythologies.

I presume from this that romantically speaking, Helios does "have game" so to speak, and Kon doesn't have to worry as much as if he had the blessing of Apollo instead?

They do. Hephy has talked about Vulcan.

Guys, guess what! Guess what, guess what, guess what!

I found a typo!

An old one!

I turn, and gesture to my team mates in turn. "Superboy, Miss Martian, Aqualad and Robin. Real names are extended on a case by case basis. Mines on this card."

You see that? "Mines on this card." Mines. So unless he's warning that the card is trapped with explosives, it should be "Mine's on this card."

Ha ha! I found a typo!

btw, i think you'd REALLY like that Zero hour mod i linked you a week or so back.
among the many other improvements, they ramped the Nuke General up past 11 to 13.
Delicious MIRV surprise!
*malicious grin*

Refresh my memory, was it stated where the invisible plane comes from?

I figure Paul's ring would have let him know that it's a technoorganic life form from the Ring if that were the case.

The version Zoat goes with the Amazons are way too useless to have built it themselves.

It's too high tech for Hephaestus usual shtick.

And if it's the Lansinarian morphing disk one would have thought that Paul would have shown some interest in shapeshifting machine technology. I mean why keep power armor in subspace when he could keep it in his pocket or as a weird looking watch?

In the spirit of being pro-active, OL should actively hunt down all the geniuses he can find and make sure their work gets recognized and used for something useful before they turn supervillain. Maybe hook them up with Kord.
