Eh? I assumed the walls are at 90 degrees to the floor, or close to it. If she's experiencing two G's straight at the wall, and assuming Venus has nearly Earth's gravity, she would be at about 30 degrees to the floor, which is pretty noticeable even if the walls aren't perfectly regular.

I'm not actually nitpicking the story, just pointing out that what she said is a simplification.

*does the force diagram, 1G vertically and 2G horizontally 12 +22 = 5* So square root of 5 Gs or 2.23Gs at the correct angle to result on 2Gs on her body. Its within approximation range.

well...thats not good.

As Zoat has mentioned, he's always been a bit of an underperformer, for someone who should make the Mad God seem like a child, who is after all only 1/3600 of a universe and yet required the entirety of the Guardian race to defeat the first time.

But he's part of the Sheeda vanguard, and they're bad news- magic, time travel, intangible assassins who cause people to commit suicide, mind controlling pixies, giants that seem to be made out of the green light of willpower, and reverse engineered New God tech.

What's going to to happen to the medical profession when a car wreck just ruins your outfit?
The medical profession becomes smaller and more specialised. This has no significant impact on society as a whole.

What are the political and economic fallout of people being able to remain healthy for 92 years plus?
1) That is just an exacerbation of the existing gradual increase in life expectancy.
2) While things will change it will only happen gradually as more and more people get old without getting feeble. Or dead.

What happens to the military-industrial complex and gun makers when people become human tanks?
They switch to plasma weapons. Or purple anti-healing beams. Or sonic cannons.

So you think multiple occupations getting devastated and envision entire new industries based on comic book inventions coming about as a result, but no significant social results? Riiiiight.

You think all that comic book weaponry will have no other applications other than weaponry?

People were turning this man down for grant money! Imbeciles!
Don't attribute to sheer incompetence that which can be adequately explained by supernatural influence and/or design...

Clearly, someone or something wants to keep mankind's progress on the narrow, static path.

It wasn't until a little someone named Paul, who comes from outside the DC Multiverse, starts pointing out the flaws in ignoring all the super-science goodies around them, that Humanity is finally realizing "their" mistakes!

So now, it's only a matter of time before the thing that's screwing with, and surpressing Mankind's rapid development, will come out of hiding to take out Paul...

What would the embodiment of "Reed Richards is Useless/Cut Lex Luther a Check", look like?

Probably some guy with glasses...

It occurs to me, that when Klarion finally bites the dust, that the separate factions of Order and Chaos may have different methodologies in preserving Balance...

And preventing the Universe from having an excuse for arranging all of their deaths to start the 10th Age of Magic!

Order, because of their love of structure and hierarchies, would want the Chaos that Klarion embodied, tied to a singular personality and form as soon as possible, before it disolves back into the Pure, Wild Magic from which it was converted.

Chaos, because of their entropic and destructive leanings, would likely want to kill off one of the Lords of Order. Sure, it's a messy way to keep things together, but that's what makes it fun! And the Mortal Realm would be a LOT more interesting with more Magic in it, no?

@Mr Zoat, thoughts?
