I very much doubt it, else New Gods would all take Radion pills every morning while they're young. I look at it like that one norse god who had holly as his anathema, and so died when Loki tricked someone into giving him some at a party. It's not like poison or a toxin, the stuff is completely inimical to the stuff-that-they-are. It would be like expecting a human to develop some resistance to nerve gas or hyroflouric acid through repeated exposure.

I really wouldn't use nerve gas or acid as an analogy, since it seems to require weaponization to harm new gods, as bullets or bombs and the like, or at least I'm not aware of it harming new gods by its very presence, it seems to just seems to poison wounds it makes.

So a more appropriate analogy would be like a human learning how to not be hurt by bullets by repeatedly getting himself shot, and since Darkseid, who artificially juiced his power levels up with the Omega effect couldn't tank a radion bullet, I don't see it happening.

And Darkseid I imagine is one of the new gods who is bullet proof, not that I can ever recall seeing him ignore bullets, but the idea that a single swat sniper could take him down just doesn't seem plausible, so it would seem that radion ignores the defenses of those new gods with greater invulnerability too. Never mind, the Atom once killed Darkseid by going Mohammad Ali on his brain from the inside, so actually in retrospect Darkseid could probably be taken out by a swat sniper, theoretically.

So the ticket would be outside defenses.

It's from one of the New God comics.

Even a glancing hit with a Radion blaster was shown to be enough to take out lesser New Gods.

Quick suggestion for you, Vaermina:

When someone who is ((A) as knowledgeable as Zoat and (B) the author of the story) calls you out on a question of fact, it's a good idea to provide actual reference links, not just further assertions. Doing anything else will likely get you ignored at best and put on ignore at worst.

I would.
It's a moral hazard, and promotes the kind of cavalier behavior towards other people's lives that will cost him.
Given the temptations Grayven surrounds himself with, it's a perilous example to set.

If he's running a test, the same standards he used when testing his formulas should apply.
Not that I see how the test would be applicable; she's a much weaker New God, given how ramming her face into a wall bloodies her nose.
So this is meant to be a lesson/chastisement; not a permanent one, since his own biology suggests New Gods regenerate, but one which will hurt enough to stick.
So getting her killed in the middle of it would be just sloppy.

I see a slight problem with that, his own biology isn't that of a full New God.

It's that of a modified human.
