I'm predicting the woman who takes OL to meet her mother is Eris, as I can't think of any other female people in the story where meeting their mother would actually be worthy of a majority of an episode.
As opposed to Zoat being sneaky British, and it is M'gann introducing OL to her mother on Mars? So both of the story descriptions are about the same installment...

I always like the idea that there were just so many cookie-cutter guys who were a dead ringer for Superman
Everyone thought DC online was just cutting corners in character generation, but nope! Turns out 99% of all humans fit into one on the default facial profiles in that universe.

I told you that the Starros are lovely people. Do you see the lengths that they're willing to go to protect their own?
Hell, they never did anything to us! They crash landed here, got experimented on by the Light, then by the Atlantians, who pureed them into a slurry, to send to another place for more experimentation. All they did was attempt to liberate themselves from slavery! And when the law found out, instead of intervening, it was complicit in mental violation with the end goal up returning its brethren to bondage or genocide. You heard what the Green Lantern Corps did to the last of them to be truly free! Threw them into the sun! Oh, the inhumanity!

I already healed his facial wounds from where the Star Conqueror had been holding onto his skull, but she needs to go through his brain to make sure there isn't any Star Conqueror programming left. Finding out that they can leave instructions to be enacted even after they're off a person -including 'come here and put me on again'- was an unpleasant surprise.
Oooh, now that's disturbing. I was wondering though how Guy was being influenced without an obvious there's a freaking starfish on his face.

I assume OL will be making her a suit that's a little less... Gothic?
She's already got body armour, but it wasn't powered as that takes more time to learn to use than she has to spend and wouldn't help them agaainst Nabu anyway.

The mother in question is Professor Venus Sivana.

Amusing as that is, Black Manta was the one who destoryed the first Star Hunter and he isn't Atlantean. If Vulko had known it was intelligent he would have behaved very differently.

So now we have multiple magical cyborg Starros on the fucking loose across the Earth system and possibly beyond.
That can use chaos magic.
And they have now learned at least one new trick vis a vis programming people for stealth operation, and may well know how to make Starrotech as well.

Great job Light; way to go.
Imbeciles.
I wonder how long the Green Lantern task force is going to be here, and if they're going to take one of the Red Starros for study.

Maybe they shouldn't have had too much faith in self destruct devices for beings without much sense of individuality.
The self destruct devices did exactly what they were supposed to do. When the sudden yet inevitable betrayal came, they foiled it completely, comprehensively, and incendiarily. Don't blame the poor self destruct devices that heroically gave their lives to fulfil their orders. Snff. I will remember you, self destruct devices.

I have no plans to, though I find the idea of having the SI fail to recognise Maura Labingi amusing.
Huh. Ring translation probably wouldn't do those names, would it? You'd be OK with some characters, but others would just get a blank stare.

Would Gandalf be able to handle (and use for good) an Orange ring? I'd say giving one to any of the elves would be a bad idea (do you want kinslayings? because that's how you get kinslayings). Ban would be able to give it back, at least.

Ooh. Redemption arc! King Excellent of the Orange Lantern Corps!

"I am, Human lowlie." Canis doesn't bother looking at Detective Bullock. He's been pretty alright about the rest of us, but being polite to normal people is a bit of a strain for his world view.
Actually that is fairly polite for a god talking to a yeoman.

Hope the GLs scan the sector down to the bedrock to find the little ones that escaped.

Zatanna didn't take part in the fight after having part of a wall fall on her. Between her spells and the ring she won't suffer any lasting damage, but I think I need to have a chat with her later about leaving her kinetic belt active even if she doesn't appear to be in a conflict zone.
Do you really think she's going to need that chat after having a wall fall on her?
