They both hit the Bio Ship. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
*checks*
For a moment the Bio-Ship drops stealth and I can clearly see the Starro-tech wafers on its outer surface.
Ah, didn't register the plural on first read through.

As for Justice League reinforcements, keep in mind people:
a) it's only been a minute or two since they called it in.
b) Watchtower: "The kids need help in Metropolis, Starros are on the loose."
Guy Gardner, voice only: "I'm on it."
watchtower: "okay, let us know if you need more help."

He really should figure out how to make these things with his ring; he has the schematics.
Time to hit the books, OL.
He can. Not entirely sure why he didn't though.
I'm not entirely sure, but I think OL is actually older than Guy. If not, it's close.
Naw. Doesn't matter. They're part of a group that, as a whole, count as juveniles, who are under the authority of the supposedly older and wiser. Age doesn't come into it.
What about the time Guy took down Truggs because OL got mind whammied?

Had to search the thread archives because apparently the comic book spelling is actually "J'ackson" (how ridiculous, no wonder you changed it) -- it's "J'aarkn".

It's the cavalry!--

-as Guy Gardner points his ring at us, a Star Conqueror covering his face.
--oh crap.

Side note, didn't get a response one way or the other on "shock crown" vs. "ShockCrown" on the previous chapter.

Thank you, corrected.

The SI no longer finds novelty spelling appropriate.

If only the author felt the same way.

I was actually wondering if this was the case -- the character feeling more mature and growing out of it.
I think I said a while ago that when a superhero starts out they feel the need to come up with names for every little thing. Exciting, extreme cool names full of incorrect letter choices and grammar.

In the SI's case, having seen death and killed himself, he feels that it would be turning something very serious into a bit of a joke.

As they mature, they realise that only the really big and weird things need specific names. And those are usually more subtle and functional.

"No, you're wrong."

I've noticed most of the individual constructs he uses now are much more functional and their names little more than descriptors. Shock crown and things like it are still fairly brief descriptions of what they do, and so are still called that, but it would seem out of character for OL to name something new things like "Wholeness rightly assumed" or "Ready in sixty four directions stance".

You may wish to reword that a little.
