Yes. Also, the League has been doing some 'renovating' since Grayven jumped ship.
Sensible.
When your tech support guy jumps ship, probably a good idea to review everything just in case.
... Meaning they ripped out all the useful bits and pieces of technology that helped them protect Earth over a petty grudge.
Fucking Justice League. Morals I can understand and respect but the way they go about it sometimes is almost as idiotic as the Light.
No.
Means that they took Grayvy's advice and changed their operating protocols after Grayvy left.
We have no suggestion that they would have reduced the security upgrades on the Watchtower; they are not morons.

I don't think joining the light counts as a petty grudge. Even if batman told the rest of the league he's doing it as a cover they would have to stop relying on what he built for them or the light might get suspicious, or worse ask him to use his advantage of what he built for the league to the advantage of the light.

Consider what each individual member knows of Grayven's loyalties, then consider how much you would trust his tech to not be more than he says if you were in their shoes.

the green ring is the only power ring in that pic, all the other rings are ... i don't know what they are but they are not power rings. They do not have an icon, and they are not any recognized color (that is not the orange of avarice, it's most like gold)
So, I was assuming/joking that those rings are merely energy storage rings that store power for whatever power ring you are currently wearing. Without having full power ring capabilities.

green doesn't interfere with yellow, yellow interferes with green.

They're probably supposed to be Sinestro Corps rings that the artist decided to have some fun with. Give your artists EXPLICT INSTRUCTIONS, writers, otherwise Ant-Man becomes a wifebeater.
And no, that really is how that happened...

(Now, in the last pic, from GL:TAS, those are Orange Lantern Corps rings...)

Kinda off topic but its been on my mind for a while and it is a renegade update.

Can Grayven enlighten Alan the same way he enlightened John Stewart 50? If so why hasn't he at least asked him? Even if he doesn't know what effect losing his lantern has had on Alan he can clearly see him deteriorating.

I thought it had something to do with how much of Alan's body/soul is made of green light already. As in, Enlightenment wouldn't work on him because the places the channels would be carved into his soul have already halfway turned into green light.

I loved that update! I was looking forward to Jade coming back and reacting to all the zaniness, and it went beyond my expectations!

That epilogue made those 3 posts a fantastic Renegade section.

Sounds about right to me. An alternate might be to try and complete the conversion the rest of the way, but that would likely require access to green rings/lanterns, which going by the usual way the Guardians have been acting in regards to him, wouldn't be allowed.

Unfortunate that at this point even though Grayven has switched off of Orange Light, they probably can't turn his original lantern back to Green. Aside from that it would go back to preserving him like it did before Paul/Grayven showed up, they might be able to pull off the thing from the comics where he essentially fused with his lantern.

I'm not sure that Stewart was enlightened as such (despite the quote marks), and if that's what happened then it was probably accidental. What Grayven did do was augment his connection to the Green Light and let him control it directly like a Guardian. And Awakened him in the process IIRC.

It does occur to me that even if Alan doesn't have the same access to the Green Light, Awakening him would probably extend his life. As for Alan deteriorating though Grayven probably attributes it to old age, not losing the lantern. I'm pretty sure he'd try to do something about it if he realized that was why.

Awaken, but no, he can't. Alan's connected to the green light through his personal lantern. Stewart could be turned into a god of will because he was breifly plugged into the entire GCPB. Alan wasn't. In addition, Grayven's apparent turn to supervillainy has sapped Alan's will and while Grayven respects Alan they're not exactly close.

its the "I'm also living with a pony girl" line that got me the most in this update... I could almost here the record needle scratch as Jades mind locked up going to the logical conclusion of that :D

I pause, and my audience leans forwards. Mitchel takes a swig of his beer, checks to see if the others are going to say anything and then decides to take the initiative.
Someone.. whose name I can't immediately call to mind, sits back. "What would have happened if it got away?"
I wonder how many intelligence services have relocated agents to this Colorado town to keep an eye on the local gossip.
Especially if Grayvy makes a habit of these little soirees.
Hell, I suspect at this point that Batman will have someone in the local area.

At the moment, none. It's just too expensive to send an agent for just that when it's far easier to take out a subscription with the local paper. Or ask him.

Will Isame call Jade "mistress"? Or is "Lady Grayven" the more appropriate term in traditional Japanese honorifics?

And now I want Isame to have titles or pet nicknames for everyone: Lynne (Imouto), Dr. Robins (Obaa-chan), Jean, Sunset Shimmer (Uma-Hime), Mister Tawny (Tora), etc.

FYI, every time I hear her say "master", I picture her dressed as either a French maid or like Barbara Eden from "I Dream of Jeannie".

Jade: :rage: "What's this I hear about a harem?"
Grayven: "Exaggerated rumors."
Jeannie!Isame: "Master, I made hors d'oeuvres for you~." <3
Jade: :rage: :rage: :rage:
Grayven:  "Honey, I can explain..."

Semi-OT:
So I've been re-reading "the Dresden Files", and the following line made me think of Renegade!Zatanna's metaphysical growth as the New Goddess of Sorcery. Quote: 'The Naagloshii [skinwalker Shagnasty] was virtually its own leyline, its own well of power, having an enormous amount of metaphysical mass. It disrupted even the dark flow of energy rising up through the tower on Demonreach.'

Pre-Awakened Zatanna already had the potential to become an S-rank sorcerer who could rival the gods, which was further enhanced when the Awakening process started to make magic a fundamental part of her body, mind, and soul (or more than it already was).

Grayven only has a portion of the GLC database, it's Paul that has a full one due to taking the whole ring.
Nope.
Data available.

...

Hm. No enemy effectives left on the field, discounting Kal-El who isn't getting out of that headlock anytime soon. Ring, assimilation progress?

Thirty nine percent complete.

It's not disarming an opponent anymore, it's straight up theft. Darn. Oh well, I suppose that the data was the main thing.
He gets everything OL did, in addition to what Fatherbox and Sinestro's Ring had.

Speaking of, Zoat, what sort of database does Sinestro 50's ring have on it, and of the tech/construct creation section how much is applicable to Earth 16?

Have you ever heard the story of the Nazi Party that was made up of nothing but undercover government agents?

Common sense and cost often doesn't factor in to decisions made by the US government. :lol
