Wait, which one would allow us to pull a Final Boss Kreia / avatar state Aang, and just have lightsabers spin around us or do shit for us while we attack people with telekinesis?

We're the strongest force user in the galaxy, we should lean into that for OP PLS NERF telekinetic goodness.

Remember, while it might be easy to learn Djem So now and relieve Stress thereby, the aggressiveness of the form is one of the hallmarks of Anakin's fall to darkness in canon. Just saying.

[X] Form V - Djem So

As a heads up, Ataru was actually Anakin's first Lightsaber form in canon, and the one he used on Geonosis to fight Dooku.

It uh.

It didn't end well.

Actually it ended so not well Anakin only used it again in canon the last time he fought Dooku, specifically to psyche Dooku out when he switched to Djem So. So we may want to not do that.

Literally anything. Anakin does that in Canon, as a Padawan. It would've gone poorly in practical application but people acting like Anakin couldn't technically do it with any form is wild.

Yeah, canonically speaking Sheev abandons even his limited interest in lightsaber use once he's free to study Sith arts for decades. The useful mental acuity of lightsaber training eventually gives way to an escape velocity of sheer power in the Force that we know Anakin is able to reach. Even after becoming Vader and losing a vast amount of his potential, he still starts to prefer killing with the Force directly.

I don't know if he really has much chance of matching Sheev or Kreia's amount of technique and esoteria within the timeframe of this quest, but the power's there. Not to mention, pursuing worldly ends at that point seems to bend straight down into the Dark...but all the same.

I would disagree with that sentiment. The style that leans into emotions and aggression is Juyo, not Djem So, and in particular, Windu's Vaapad mentality. Djem So is an evolution on Soresu in which you counterattack strongly. Not all of Anakin Skywalker's choices in canon were the height of evil, and we shouldn't be afraid of making some of the choices he made.

....Would it be viable to use Ataru+TK+Starfighter piloting intuition-> Telekinetic Flight?

Probably not - personal flight like you'd see in, say, The Galactic Milieu, that is. Maybe, at best, Force-assisted jetpacking? That could be interesting.

Incidentally, "starfighter" + "lightsaber" brings something to mind... let's see...

Jedi Vector

Jedi Vectors were a model of starfighter utilized exclusively by the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era. Designed to be a physical extension of the Jedi's connection to the Force, the Vector was a sleek and streamlined vessel that emphasized performance and maneuverability. Renowned for its...

Which honestly sounds like something right up Anakin's alley; there's even one that was apparently being worked on at the Order's hangers the year Anakin was born.

Up-tech one of those suckers with new parts, spend some time tinkering with it and Anakin could have quite the machine to use.

[X] Form VI - Niman

I always like the force as an active thing to be used rather then a fall back it seemed to be in the movie fights.

And I feel like I want to see more written about using the force as an active component of the fight rather then the fall back when you're too far away to hit them with your lightsaber, rather then the passive buff it feels like it's relegated too in so many fights.

[X] Form I - Shii-Cho
[X] Form VI - Niman
[X] Form VII - Juyo

im hoping that shii-cho will give us some nice solid foundation to build off off, then later we can switch, either to juyo/vaapad if we mange to convince Mace to teach us or Niman if not.
