If Rey is giving the crystal to Anakin, it's kind of like the future handing the present to the past. I guess that makes the kyber crystal something like Luke.

What a take. That blue looks absolutely amazing with Anakin. I've always associated green with Luke and think it flows perfectly with his character; a wildly appealing look.
Blue meanwhile has always been an Anakin thing, and while I get wanting a new option and look, lets not pretend he doesn't look stupendous with a blue saber.

So, a question: When I originally proposed Unstable Silver, it was part of a pair with a Black Core, but a lot of later voters have just copied the first part. How does that get interpreted with the vote? Do Unstable Silver + Black Core and just Unstable Silver count as two separate things, or are they treated as a pair, with Unstable Silver acting as a name for both?

I already voted, but I wanted to say I really loved the update. I cried a bit reading it, but it probably would have been more if I wasn't in public. It captured all that awesome spiritual stuff about Star Wars, like hope, light, and darkness. It gave me a flashback to the basically religious and super emotionally formative experience of watching The Original Trilogy, especially Return of the Jedi, over and over again in my grandparent's basement as a kid. Thanks for all the work you put into your writing; it really shines through!

Let's hope we can avoid getting our original saber destroyed. In AotC I'm pretty sure there was a line about Anakin having destroyed his original one before the movie starts before he loses his in the factory.

From what I remember it's in reference to Anakin losing his saber earlier on in the movie during the bounty hunter chase sequence. Obi-Wan manages to catch it though.
Anakin says something to the effect of, "Not again... Obi-Wan's gonna kill me." Which was more losing his lightsaber... well, in a more permanent fashion.
