We Will Never Die: Rebooted (A Halo Spartan Quest)

You do know that they have seen Evangelion... it's kinda why they think we're like them so much.

And no, a race of super computers still don't understand Evangelion.
Its a tragedy of misaligned gears, all in slightly different ways. A morality play of ways entities that may be mendable through the right hands may exacerbate the collapse of the machine even with good intentions, unable to properly perceive the whole of the machine or even neighboring parts. Unable to curb their own incompatable drives and untuned, hamfisted efforts. Those who are wounded, wound... and through the vicious cycle does the world drown in blood.

As to the metaphysics, we still haven't left the territory of things the Precursors find completely unremarkable.

Though, when I mentioned instrumentality, I actually was using the dictionary definition: 'the fact or quality of serving as an instrument or means to an end; agency.'

[X]The Grunt: Ornak, the Dozen Battles The Fearsome Grunt commander of his own shock battalion was kinda cute when you saw him… he looked… adorable.

[X]The Jackal: He was… Zak… a pirate, mercenary… and a drug dealer… was he really the best person to make a good first impression?

[X] The Hunters: What the fuck were those things… worms? And how were they going to… Wait, they were psychic… almost as if they expected you to… read into their bond?

No, I meant that they kinda knew about humanity before we've met. Because guess what...They are floating bio computers.

Wow, a couple options that I'd LOVE to see but I can only choose one. Arbitor makes diplo sense, Engineer because TECH but gosh darn it, who EVER gets the chance to "talk" to a Hunter?

[X] The Hunters: What the fuck were those things… worms? And how were they going to… Wait, they were psychic… almost as if they expected you to… read into their bond?

Also, looking forward to the soap opera that will be our lives once a Spartan-on-Spartan child is born.

Heh.. I can already sense a potential butterfly

High rank elite commander just went rogue with a good chunk of fleet commiting mass "heresy and blasphemy"..

Tartarus and the Brutes may get a "rank-up" in covenant society soon..if Truth is still on canon ambitions

-[x]Genetic Engineering: Dr. Halsey wants you to try this, something about… a fresh perspective. Rolled:1D100 => 73+30=103

You gave a smile as you showed Dr. Halsey the work. "See… The genetic markers aren't just within a select group of individuals Doctor. It's within everyone, just not as expressed as ourselves."

The doctor scratched her chin. "And you are certain that the data is accurate?"

"95% sure Doctor, mostly because I don't have a large enough sample size." You replied.

"But that means…"

You gave a smile. " Yes Doctor, with enough gene therapy in utero… everyone can have the ability to become a Spartan or… well anything they desire."

Rereading the quest, i found this bit. We are the ones that put the idea of spartan-on-spartan babies on Halsey's head. Lmao

True... but the imperial admiral is still around to contest.

Even though those words were mearly stating that gene therapy was the only thing needed.

Plus she already did some genetic engineering on Miranda... she's Spartan eligible now.
No we didn't want to sleep with one of our friends for science.

Halsey did.

"Okay, Caleb, why is one of our friends getting pregnant a bad thing?" Ralph asked.

"Because that girl is… kinda… stolen?" He stated. "And if we don't protect her, she'll allow humanity to be destroyed."

"Destroyed by what?" Daisy asked.

"I don't know," Caleb replied. "All I know is that she's important."

Great… child of destiny bullshit. "We should go inform the doctor, and start getting
Also, this bit. So i believe a little paranoia is in order.
Why do we choose to knock up one of our friends again? (Meta answer)

[X]The Admieral, Thel Vadam: The… Alien himself who led his people in exile. The Highest Ranking person in the Fleet.

Huragok were also extremely tempting.

[X]The Huragok: He cooed at you… and he said. "Welcome Child of Technology… I am Vava… THe AI you have in your possession… may I speak to it?"
