We Will Never Die: Rebooted (A Halo Spartan Quest)

[X] Plan: Sanity and armor for the three hundred
-[X]300: You always wondered if you could… well be like the Spartans at Thermopylae, without dying of course. (Cost 7 Budget Points)
-[X]The UNSC Beacon: You want the Beacon… you will get the beacon and turn it into a place of true power. That you have a few ideas for upgrading it also helps. (Cost 5 Budget Points)
-[X]Dad: You want your dad to join you. He'll drop everything in a heartbeat to make sure he's in. (Cost 0 Budget points)
-[X]CPO Mendez: Mendez is the greatest drill instructor in the UNSC. You'd be stupid to not try to make him your Senior Drill instructor. (Cost 3 Budget points)
-[X]Kirk: Kirk has some sixth sense, and is possibly an empath. The fact he's a lot more personable and well… not you, means that he can easily connect and help the young Cadets make the transition without becoming… Psychopaths...or you… Yeah, you don't want any of them to become like you. (Cost 1 Budget points)
-[X]Sam: You admit, he wasn't your first choice, but he's… well he's certainly a choice. He wants to put them through hell… You can't deny that it might be a good idea. (Cost 2 Budget points)
-[X]Daisy: She wishes to join you. Not that she brings anything else that the other spartans can bring. But she also wishes to keep you sane. Whatever that means? (Cost 1 Budget points)
-[X]Power Armored Forces: This unit is going to be wielding the latest and the greatest of Power Armored Technologies. They will be… well. You will make them invincible in battle. (Cost 6 Budget points)

Armor of God 1: This is The Future
Armor of God 1: This is The Future

Dr. Halsey was… well she was not amused by your sudden and brutal hostile take over of the S-III program. "Gian… why the hell did you do that?" She asked as she read through your file and requests. "Why the hell, did you do this to me?"

You rolled your eyes. "Doctor, you should know by now that I am an enigma that is far beyond the simple constructs of your reasoning, and the fact that Ackerson was an enemy of you meant that I realized you would not care if I removed him from the project and replaced him with myself. I also knew that you would not care about my rank. Nor would the rest of the Admiralty."

Dr. Halsey was… conflicted. Her face was happy that you schemed your way into power, bloodlessly and in a way that benefited humanity… but you did it behind her back, and in such a way that… well, went without notice until you told her. "I'm not going to stop you… but I expect detailed information and reports of your training progress… and when I deem it fit… you will get promoted to an appropriate rank fitting your position."

You smiled. "Thank you, doctor… Though I am going to make one small request."

That made the good doctor frown. "And what would that be?" She asked.

"Your daughter… Will you want her to be like me… or you?" You asked.

That made the good doctor flinch. "A Spartan?" She questioned, visibly shaken by the… statement.

"No." You replied. "Something far more than a Spartan."

The Doctor looked away. "That isn't a choice I am willing to make."

"You made it for us, what's one more choice on your guilty conscious." You replied.

The words hurt her… you didn't mean for them to strike so deep. But you had no choice. You would not allow her to be a hypocrite.

She'll make her choice. You walked away to allow the Doctor to make the choice herself.
----------------------------------------------------

New Carthage was certainly something. Formed after three separate supernovae blew up in the local cluster ten billion years ago, all that heavy and rare minerals crashed together to the planet, making it possibly the richest resource world in the entire portion of the galaxy. And that was not talking about the… well, you would say the richest Astroid fields in two million light years.
Possibly the most industrial world in the outer colonies, with enough resources to run the UNSC… for the next four hundred years. A rather young planet at over a billion years old, it's very much habitable, thanks to the Terraforming projects that turned it into a beautiful garden world. It was a powerhouse.

But what was in orbit where you and the fellow spartan's were heading towards

Project Mjlnor… the powered armored goodness that was the culmination of over ten years of armor smithing, technological breakthroughs, and just plain old luck, that crafted the most powerful suit of armor ever crafted by human hands.

It was Doctor Halsey's other, lesser Brainchild compared to the spartan program, but one where spent the majority of her Spartan Two Budget on.

And then you started tinkering with it… and just made it better… slightly easier to make as well… along with all sorts of goodies that made it so expensive that it stole money from other projects… but it was worth it.

Oh so worth it.

The Green Armor was very… well… Futuristic. Some would even say impractical. Two tons of armor that were powerful enough to make a regular soldier into a god of war had their advantages…

But you were happy to learn they added… the good stuff… your designs and tech… and the personal customizations you requested.

What does your Armor look like:

[]Place of the armor hear

What did they add of your design:

(Choose 3)

[]Arc Reactor: Some would say a Fusion reactor would have been better… you decided to say fuck all that, and something far better instead for this type of work, with increased power output and volatility. The arc reactor was using an element that was only found in New Carthage… Something called Starkoniumn… or whatever the hell Light used to call it. It was a power source that was able to be so small… but also as powerful as a fusion reactor, because of the potential energy being outputted… sure it was volatile outside of the containment unit that it was housed in… being able to destroy a planet. You think it was part of the Nova project, the way they were talking about it. (Armor Gains Arc reactor… +150 to All-Energy Shield defenses. +200 to all combat rolls. If the Armor's power control unit integrity is breached it will destroy the continent you are… At least)

[]Better Fusion Reactor: This is just a better Fusion reactor… Cheaper… boring and won't kill you if the armor's power system is breached… you'll just get a dose of radiation. And maybe a nuke. (+50 to All energy Shield Defenses. +100 to all combat rolls)

[]Energy Shields: Mankinds earlier energy shield development sucked… withe Covenant helping with that problem, you now have some… very practical energy shields. (Grants energy shields. -50 to enemy combat rolls.

[]Onbourd Weaponry: You know, Iron Man had the Right idea on onboard weaponry. Using the reactor's excess power to power laser, plasma, and even other kinetic weaponry. (+100 to combat rolls. Will not need to equip standard-issue unsc weaponry. Modifications available.)

[]Armor Integrity Regeneration: Using a Nanomachine system, nanites will start to repair armor breaches, solve integrity issues, and maintain the armor when not in use. It's unfortunately a power hog and requires a better reactor. (Requires Arc Reactor or Better Fusion Reactor. In Combat, Gain a +200 to Combat defense rolls. +100 to Combat offensive rolls. If Armor is Breached, it will not require a ship, Giancarlo, or a team of mechanics to rebuild or make it function after a beating)

[]Ai Housing System: You need this… mostly because the Unit is specially made, so that if the Wearer is rendered unconscious… the AI will take full control to keep the wearer alive. When the user is still awake, it increases awareness, tactical awareness, and even… What is this… access Waypoint to post memes? Why would you add that? (Is Required to have Sigma or other AI's in the armor.)

[]Stronger Alloy on the Armor: Titanium is all well and good, but have you tried… something better? Forged in a Dwarf Star brought from the Covenant Exiles, the metal covers the armors outer layers in such a way that it literally is unbreakable to most normal human means. And even most covenant plasma weapons. (The Armor is stronger. +100 to combat rolls)

[]Propultion System: Ironman was pussy… but he did have some good ideas. Onboard, multi-role propulsion and maneuvering systems… along with… being a drain on the fusion cells. It needs more power. (Requires Arc Reactor to Function. +100 to all combat rolls. Can operate in space without requiring a jet pack)

[]Teleportation System: So Light left you some schematics for intersystem teleportations. All you got from it was... well this. (Requires Arc Reactor. Can Teleport anywhere in a system... that is not in the vacumn of space.)

[]Ease of Manufacturing: You know what this needs? The Ability to be mass-produced on a scale none have seen before. With some work, you did just that. (Armor can now be mass-produced. Cannot be taken with Arc Reactor, Onboard Weaponry, Energy Shields, or Armor Integrity Regeneration)

[]Extreme Survivability: A Regular human is nothing… now they can be gods of war on the battlefield. At least you figured out the recoil problem before it killed someone. Damn Muscle spasms (Regular infantry can wear this armor. Must take Ease of Manufacturing.)

AN: Yes... Gian is god.

And this is just for the Mk IV... you should see what I've got for the Mark Five.

Hint: Take Tony Starks Symbiote Armor... and make it more powerful... that's just one of them.

Plan format please.

Oh by the way, The Image is for your own personal armor, not the ones for the rest of the spartans.

So... Anyone got anything to say about the crazy shit we've gotten up to.

Holy hell about sums it up. Doesn't it?

Question 1: can we upgrade our armor further in the future?
2: Will upgrades taken now be included in the next gen?

And finally: The Walking Apocalypse in the making...

Question 1: can we upgrade our armor further in the future?
Yes. In fact, these aren't even the final form of the upgrades, because you didn't work on the Mjlnor at all during training... This is just the basic stuff.

Since you chose power armor for the S-III, you can make this even better.
2: Will upgrades taken now be included in the next gen?
Yes.

Unless they replace or the upgrade needs to take out the old stuff.

I like this plan but I feel it is better if it is used for a more advance design given what QM has said not our first one also so we can also get some good armor for basic humans.
