Also, why is Gaelte's Ascension Requirement so high, despite being only a legend 10 spawn? Isn't Ascension requirement based on how much legend was used to spawn them? If not, what is it based on?

Is there any reason that we shouldn't have at least one kid each turn with four legend in order to get the legend back immediately from Night Mother? It seems inordinately profitable to have a large number of low-legend spawns.
Well that's annoying. Makes some mythological sense though. It is annoying once we get to the higher tiers, making it nearly impossible for children to ascend without being completely redonculous.
'Avatar: 9
You are a goddess, and your form reflects this elegance and power. Hair as black as the night sky, pockmarked with specks of white like the stars and eyes that glow solidly the color of silver and black like a shifting moon, you are the picture of celestial radiance and mystery. From your eyes and mouth pours an infinite stream of clear, perfect water, and cloaked about your body are skins of supple ebony, rimmed with white. Standing tall at over 11 feet, you are imposing and intimidating, even to most spirits, and your earlier girlish charm has changed, a more mature, calculating gaze replacing your earlier glint of mere mischief.'
I'm fairly sure any sex with Gaerig would be at least slightly frightening for any mortal.
Also, does siring an Ur-beast with Avatar 10 do more than siring it with Avatar 9?

No, it's not only for Ur-spawn, the broods and bloodlines just don't get to automatically have the 'divine' aspect tier of their animal/human parent unless it's specifically added. It makes them more everything when you do.
Yes, it generates more legend back for you when it pays off.

So then it would be best to just keep pumping out legend 10 spawns, as those will give us legend back almost instantly with how Ur-spawn tend to act around us.
Or, you know, die like chumps, but that's just part of the gamble.
Additionally, is the legend we get back 66%, or did you just round to that for Seski, and it's really 60, 70, or even 50%? Will Seski give us any additional legend, if, say, she ascends or something, or are we done getting legend from her for good?
It seems possible that Bearzerkers might be far enough out of Saiga's blindspot that he'll take notice of their actions; I'm not sure we want to tell him straight up that we're the source. I'm not entirely sure how much he cares about Attrouska's villagers, but it's something to keep in mind.

I mean, we HAVE straight up told him about stuff, he doesn't hear it unless we make a specific effort to get through and outright confess it.
I'm framing it as:
[] Meet with Saiga. Costs: 0.5 Sustenance per option
-[] Request something
--[] Ask him what places he had found in his wanderings.
-[] Introduce him to the Bloody Bears before they grow into their full strength and see if they will listen to him.
Since he has good Awe and can talk to bears, he can assert dominance with his Hunter trait bonus, and generally act as containment when we aren't siccing them on enemies with Blood Moon.
Also including this
[] Meet with Keshketev. Costs: 0.5 Sustenance per option
-[] Learn about him
-[] Trade something
--[] Gift him the effects of the Yellow Moon upon his people.
--[] Bargain for his assistance in making an enchanted coat out of the Ultramarine Skins for Seski

We'll earn Legend whenever we win a Trickery round against her!
... Which sadly we seem to do rather rarely.
Really, how come our daughter has more wins against Divinities than we do? I love her like everyone else in this thread, but I refuse to lose to her without a fight!

Do we have confirmation that Divine Creatures also have to grow like regular beings?
My mental image kinda had them reach full power within a very short amount of time.
The following dramatization is supposed to be a humorous take on thread events, and not intended to call out or disparage any individual participants. I have no problem with how things turned out as is; I just found the general course of events amusing.
For someone watching at the latest Temple-building struggles largely from the side, here is how the exchange looked to me:
Players: Oooh. Temple. I wonder, can we put in on our Holy Place?
GM: I mean, technically, but your mortals can't actually get there to build it, so it wouldn't work.
Players: No problem. We'll just recruit Spirits to do the work for us. Mwahaha!
GM: I mean, technically, you can do that, but the temple is really supposed to be a primarily mortal effort, and even if you manage to build it now you'll have a really hard time upgrading it.
Players: Wait, you can upgrade Temples? Holy shit. No, no, lets not get off topic. I guess if water makes our Holy Place inaccessible to humans, but mortals are needed to upgrade the Temple if we place it there, the natural thing to do is to make mortals that can get to our Holy Place. And in the meantime, we will ask out Spirit-friends if they can help us!
Dice: Nope.
NPC: I mean technically, you could do it, but if you try you are going to have a bad time.
Players: Fiiiiiiine. We can put it off... for now.
