Time of the Gods: Into the Amber Age

Naw, it means that our voters are too chicken to stick their avatars out into random dark places where anything can exist. /idiotbullytalk

I voted for this as I thought it was the most likely 'wander the time-stream' option.
I would like to Peggy-Sue in a single quest. It would be extra silly, especially as it would give hilariously few actual benefits (relative to traditional Peggy-sue-dom).

And that's why I don't want to do it.

It would just be repeating shit for no real gain.

Fuck that.

Then we shall disagree on the importance of a continuous time-stream.
As the whole Shining option is winning, I hope we get best result no matter what wins. (though still hoping for lights of yester-year)

for the sake of not having to repeat the fear/faith or saiga votes, not having to deal with weird timetravel nonsense, and the like, I will except your disapproval gladly

Well, if you consider that we're lost in time as the starting premise...

[] You must go up!

Back out, undo, escape the flow of time. Move Back.
Or maybe we accidentally ascend without the proper foundations, that could happen too.

[] You must shine a light in the dark!

Be the Shiny. Assert our presence in the sea of time.
Be grossly incandescent. Witness Us.

Attrouska might notice, though fucked if she can actually GET here.
It's going to throw the predicted futures into a mess as a new light mangles all the connections and relations. We've already done this once by yanking the moon around.

Timecops might show up too, you never know.

[] You must hide!

Buried in the stream of time, we simply outlast Attrouska's efforts. Unlike a Faith spirit, vanishing for an indeterminate time is mostly harmless for a Fear spirit(if anything it'd be better when we come back).

Saiga may go on a big adventure to find Q and restore his waifu to the timestream.

[] You must search!

Seek out particular events to stick our nose into, or places of power. Possibly fuck everything up beyond all recovery with paradox.

I'm pretty sure @Powerofmind said we'd be replacing our past self, so Faith/Fear will already be chosen by virtue of us having Fear 4 already, and i think everyone can agree at this point that having Saiga as a husband is rather helpful, so even if we went that far back i don't think it would be a problem :p We would be losing physical things like our Creche and T3 shrine, our Painted Stars, our silver men (and/or their fertility), seksi, etc...but even then i dont think PoM would make us redo everything--i'm imagining back to turn 10 at the earliest--oh, or maybe turn 9. That's when we blew up in an accidental ritual, so i could see us going back to then...in which case we'd already have seksi, but not the silver men or shrine stuff...but honestly only the silver men is a problem, cause we can just build those shrine things again (and maybe i can convince people to get the sacrificial bowls instead of the creche... :p). Speaking of the silver men, if we find ourselfs back in reality after they already exist, we should think about a demand either that after they die they must be flayed for their silver for us, or that those who pledge their bodies to us after death will be blessed above all others (I'm imagining a far future where signing up as an organ donor on your driver's license leads to preferential blessings from the gods XD), or something (depending on how cruel we want to be :p)

I don't know why, but your post and unusually poor grammar screams 'I'm drunk!'.

I've actually never been drunk before*; that post is "Abby should be in bed, but he needs to eat first, so he'll make poorly written posts while his food cooks" :p Also, my mechanics posts might give an unusually high standard for my posts...that's the only time i really care about grammar and the like XD

*It took election night to even get me to try alcohol--in what was probably for the best, i didn't like anything my roommate had, so i didn't get drunk after the election results...

Not a problem really. Despicable acts are okay for a Fear spirit...

Does lead to weird funerary practices though. But thats common in the arctic, where burials are hideously labor intensive and cremations lack fuel

Just as past Gaerig explodes the Gaerig that went on an adventure through time walks out of her shrine. That'd be a good trick I guess.

Guys, we picked Elemental Spirit. It seemed at first that that was Water.

I think that was a red herring.

I wonder if it's possible for us to go so far back in time that we the catastrophe happens to us.

Or if we go back so far that we are the catastrophe that happens.... again

Civilization Ender 2: Electric Boogaloo; This Time It's Personal

What, so we travel so far back it takes a god trying to smite another god that they drag us out of wherever we are and then we smash into the god basically creating the area around where we lived? I'd be down for that I guess.

Edit: Wait. We go back in time and are dragged from wherever we are and used to smash a civilisation. But Gaerig's humanish body doesn't get dragged out. Her body is actually a silver orb, shaped like the moon. It all makes sense now!

What if we travel so far back that Gaerig emerges into the scene where Harzivan was solo-ing an entire pantheon and then @Academia Nut is the guest writer while we frantically try to not get dominated by Old School Mechanics while cheesing the OSM in our favor while also trying to avoid being attacked by Obsidian God and/or Harzivan.

Oh wait, that's a Bad End, nevermind.

I edited in the ending of my idea :p
