Usopp, Chopper, Cross, and Zoro are all people who would reasonably support this course of action for varying reasons, none of them in their right mind.

Armament Haki that Luffy doesn't have and won't be getting for a little while yet. Cross has been going out of his mind trying to find training material for those arts or at least instructors. So far no dice. It could be then that cross would be using sea stone as a bit of a substitute until they manage to actually get that training.

Doubt it is fatal but it definitely is enough to throw the marines command structure literally into disarray. In fact since ice guy and fire guy already have assignments I expect that light guy is on standby in the fleet that was *waiting for Sengoku to board* for them to leave. I expect the order to leave without him won't come until after it is already too late. Sengoku might have even given an order before he stroked out to not leave without him, that task force might literally be under orders then to not leave.... heh, now I'm getting an image in my head of sengoku getting loaded on board one of the ships with the finest doctors in Marineford toiling away on him all the while just so they can follow his orders and head on out. The loading process would likely take a while though... hopefully enough that the Straw Hats have enough time to get away.

Just got done rereading the whole story...for the third or fourth time ^_^ I love this story so much and can hardly wait for the next chapter.
 
So i was just watching a bit of SF debris and i found a line by crazy Janeway that i think would make a great scene between Cross and Sengoku (or the five elder stars, it doesnt really matter which)
"Okay, listen up cause im only saying this once. You tried mixing it up with us and we caused a lot of damage. Cross paths with us again and you will all be destroyed, I promise you, because you may be bigger, stronger, smarter, faster, But you will never, EVER be crazier.....Than ME."

Ooh my, this was an exciting chapter. I greatly look forward to seeing how the Straw Hats deal with this, and I rather want to know how Bart and his underling survive the Calm Belt & a bunch of marine coming for them at once.
 
If anything, I'm more interested in seeing what the rampage of the two Yonkou accomplishes. Its really freakin' fun that Cross started a pissing match among the Worst Generation, but its just as fun watching him cause powers waaaayyyy bigger and stronger than him to move instead (Thus why I love how he ALWAYS pisses off the Marines and caused almost the entirety of Marineford to move against him).

I wonder if Cross could get Luffy to make an air-cannon?

I mean, basically he just needs to do the equivalent of gear something or other with his lungs to take in a bunch of air, compress it, and shoot it out.
 
So is there anything for the crew to loot besides funkfeed? Not even sure if that counts more like a recruitment.

Edit: they must have a cash box or something around there in order to pay the tropes with. Any idea how much a troop of 10000 would need?

Not to mention, Spandam's not exactly the sort to keep his files secured...

Well, it's that or Smoker gets more ammo to work with. That seems a bit more likely.

Either way, Cross won't be the only one dropping bombshells for too long. And it will be glorious.
 
They already have ship packed of gold so if the find something it would have to be more valuable then Gold by weight to be worth looting. Maybe they have some sort of shady lab full of illegal chemicals? Chopper could use some new materials.

Edit: actually they are about to get a new ship with a nice big treasure room so gold is still worth picking up.

Horrified? I don't think the higher-ups of the WG are even capable of feeling such an emotion anymore; not when they themselves are the ones either propagating or covering up the worst atrocities. As it stands, pillaging Enies Lobby, openly declaring war on the WG, revealing the truth behind Ohara to the world, causing virtually all the giants in the Marines to mutiny, spurring all the Supernovas and two Emperors into rampaging across the Grand Line, motivating Water 7 to go Revolutionary, and inadvertently causing the Fleet Admiral of the Marines to go into cardiac arrest, all in the span of a single night... If he wasn't before, Cross is most definitely public enemy no. 1; I doubt even Dragon has caused this much damage in such a short amount of time. I wouldn't be surprised if his upcoming bounty was 600 million beri or more. Plus, it'd be the magic number for putting the collective Straw Hat bounty at over one billion beri. Him reading off classified CP9 documents on air would really just be overkill at this point.
