This seems close enough to my pitch, and it's gonna be a losing battle to even try to vote against it. The pitch I spent two weeks on... :V Warning, though, I am gonna try to mold it as close to my pitch as possible, though. And I will not vote against my own pitch.

Edit: I also find it kind of lazy to just pick up OTL's Iron Man 2 and just copy that as our script. Although that may just be me hoping with the fact that my pitch won't win, lol. :V

I literally haven't seen Iron Man 2. I went, "Oh, that first pitch is just absolutely amazing, Imma vote for it" and then only after the fact did I look up Iron Man 2 and go, "It's similar to the one that actually got made."

By which point I'd already decided that it was a very good pitch, so.

It's fine. It's somewhat similar to my pitch, so as long as Ivan Vanko can be Crimson Dynamo instead of Whiplash, I'll be happy. Though, I'm still not happy that Madame Masque is most likely not going to be in this. Though perhaps we could have her be some sort of mediator between Hammer and Vanko, with Justin Hammer having ties with the Maggia. Now that I think about it, I could easily mold this to something similar to my Iron Man II pitch than I thought earlier...
 
Funny thing is, Favreau's first pitch was closer to what he wanted to do with Iron Man 2 before Disney and Kevin Feige had him insert Fury, an entire exposition about S.H.I.E.L.D.'s role and the Avengers, as well as removing the complexity by making Howard a hero instead of a brilliant yet flawed man.

TTL with no Disney, more succesful movies that show the connection between themselves, another film that is already going to have S.H.I.E.L.D. and Nick Fury heavily involved, plus a bit of Favreau playing both sides to get what he wants, means that he can do the film he originally wanted to do in OTL.

...Of course then he had to roll a freaking 98 in inspiration and get another idea.

By the way, Favreau's second pitch, is closer to "When all you have is a Hammer."

Honestly, it seems like Favreau and I have somewhat of the same thinking. :lol:

It's interesting that, besides making two more movies than OTL, Iron man 2 is influenced by our decisions and that dice roll for the Disney negotiations. Wonder if Captain America will follow suit given that Joe Johnston might a pitch similar to The First Avenger?
 
Don't mind me, everyone, just plotting to ask Favreau to make Justin Hammer connected to the Maggia and either foreshadow or include Madame Masque in some way...

Also, I remember @King crimson saying that Crimson Dynamo is a more interesting character than Whiplash, so we should probably take that into account as well.

Speaking of TTL Iron Man 2 and the Avengers in general, I find it funny we stumbled upon a husband-and-wife team in our lineup, just like the Avengers when they were first created.

Wait... this is the movie with our Wonder Man end credit right? I'm invested in WM to an almost embarrassing degree - our first foray into a non MCU introduced character and all.
 
One thing I'd like to establish in this movie is the Maggia, in order to show why they're such a threat when they appear in Wonder Man. Maybe Justin Hammer could have some ties with the Maggia, with Madame Masque appearing as a representative of Maggia interests in the movie. Since Hammer is probably going to get his hands on Stark tech, Madame Masque could probably arrange for some of the blueprints and tech to make their way into Maggia hands.

Edit: I spent a lot of time on Madame Masque and her character in my IM2 Pitch, so I'd like to see her here as well, even if she has to be lowered to play a more minor part in the movie.
