Avi worked fast, or perhaps it might be better to say that he works efficiently. He gathers all members of the Committee who either owed him or were sympathetic to his ideas and went on to hype you up based on your leadership abilities and your own creative sense which had lead Marvel Studios into its current successful state.
He tactfully makes sure not to mention some of your crazier ideas (For which you are grateful) but even with that he manages to form a coalition strong enough to counter Ike's own. That he'd been angling for the job does not surprise you, what with him not being able to influence the direction of the films thanks to you constant success so far.
The results were as you had been promised. You were not only the Head for the MCU movies, but also for the future MCU TV shows as well…mostly.
As in, there are no current Marvel TV shows yet.
When you'd assumed command you'd been informed of the situation. Unlike the films, Marvel was going into the TV shows with a more cautious approach, wanting to first test a single TV series to see if there was a market for it. One would think that seeing the wild success movies like Iron Man and Thor have enjoyed that the answer would be a resounding yes, but they are the ones paying your salary, so you might as well indulge them here.
You'll have the time to do more later on after all.
You have plans for the TV shows, big plans to explore and give use to characters that may not get their own movies, to explore the expanding MCU beyond the grand cosmic events and main characters, with perhaps some of them going into the movies themselves, or at the very least being mentioned.
That is Marvel's strength, the ability to make so many stories interconnected, yet also being able to enjoy each of them by themselves without needing to see them all.
Psyching yourself up you then begin to check on the proposals being worked on, and discussed, before you took over.
First off it's a surprise;
The Incredible Hulk already had a movie after all, so using the character for a TV show seems a bit superfluous. Though when you asked the rest of the Committee about it they could only say that they made an investment on the character, and they would get that investment back even if you keep on sidelining him.
Geez, Ike was angrier than you thought. Then again he did have a point. You have the rights, and it's a very popular character, not to mention that there is a precedent of using the character on a TV show before.
Second,
Lady Sif and the Warriors Three; an adventure story that would take Lady Sif along with the warriors of Asgard on many adventures, exploring the city and the nine realms, or perhaps even dealing with the politics of the realm. The way it's designed it could be set for before or after the movie.
You can see the appeal here; Gal Gadot has agreed to appear in Marvel productions, and though the payment would have to somewhat match you could still recover it; she is among the most popular character after all.
Third in line,
War Machine; a series about James "Rhodey" Rhodes and his new adventures in the military as he now has ownership of an Iron Man suit. The story is set more like a political thriller, with espionage, drama, and quick action involved. You can see much potential here.
Omar Epps is all for it; he knows that he's seen as the weakest cast member of the Iron man franchise and wants to increase the character's popularity. He claims his previous obligations will not impact the production.
And finally,
The Immortal Iron Fist; a series involving Danny Rand as he returns from the mystical city of K'un-Lun. This series would explore the mysticism and magical aspect of the MCU as Danny tackles his responsibilities of being the Iron Fist with his own heroic and more selfish desires to reconnect with his family.
A most ambitious project and you can see that it has Avi's own sign of approval. You'd need to find someone who'd know about choreographed fighting as well; like hell you'll let Danny Rand fail at fighting!
Well, this are the options set by the Committee, but you don't technically have to follow them. You could start with a whole new character and series idea! It might piss them off somewhat, but as long as you obtain results then you're sure they'll get over it.
