So for those of us who do not play non-single-player games... care to explain, or do we just sit over here going 'Huh?'
Here you go:
MIA is an acronym organically used by the military that stands for "missing in action". In this setting, saying"MIA" in chat means that the opponent in your lane is no longer there and has "gone missing". This alerts your team mates that he could be roaming or ganking a lane. By calling out when you haven't seen your opponent in some time, your teammates can guard themselves and act appropriately.
And after a quick search the reason Trickster is apparently panicking is because in game Ahri is a character with high speed and burst damage output. Meaning that if you don't have eyes on her anymore, she's probably waiting for her abilities to come off cool down so she can dash in and alpha strike your ass (again).

League of Legends is a game where each side has five players; however, the map is divided up into three "lanes" that contain most of the combat, with occasional connections between them. So it's normally three smaller fights except when one side tries something.

If you're fighting someone in one lane and they back off, it might mean they're going back to heal or buy items, but it might also mean they're trying to sneak into one of the other lanes and ambush your teammate. So you're supposed to call "(x character) MIA" when they disappear so your team mates know not to, for example, move forward on the offensive where the missing player can sneak into their lane behind them and pincer them with their teammate already present.

Or at least that's how it was when I played LoL several years ago.

cue Ahri getting a Guardian Ahri skin after a liscensing deal with the PRT.
And Taylor getting offered a contract for cosplay/acting as a presentor for a LoL event.
Maybe that was why they wanted to see how well she could sing?

And now I'm picturing a green-screen stage setup for Taylor to do a song and dance routine, that will be aired in Aleph South Korea. This, after she's learned the Korean language from a polyglot datadump that she's still hearing a small white fox singing 'Goooooodd-esssssss' in a high register. 🦊

Though which song? Aside from the obvious one that is.

Ah, Star Guardian Ahri, can't believe I didn't see that until MageOhki pointed it out. The most successful themed skins League has IIRC, in fact I think they even have a whole little side-story with actual plot and everything going on with the Star Guardians, because it turned out that what the playerbase wanted most of all, above everything else, was for League of Legends to also be Magical Girls.

@Neruz Once I realized I'd all but turned Taylor into a magical girl, I decided I should just go full ham on it ^^; *not sorry kitsune*

The darkness will not go quietly, but this world now runs on Floof, Hope, and Friendship. Taylor just needs to get used to the idea.
Oh obviously, I dont expect any Magical Girl to have an EASY time beating back the Darkness, but I'm off the opinion that Magical Girls should win the day and considering I have a headcanon that the Incubator is an Entity of some kind and the whole mindfucking 'WTF, no really, WTF?!' of Magical Girl Site, I dont think we need to add either to Worm without making some kind of grimdark black hole that would make even Games Workshop and Wildbow say 'HOLY SHIT DUDE, take it down a notch!'. Basically, keep things floofy and fun and everything will go fine.

And sufficiently powerful Noble Phantasms divine artifacts to blow very large holes through the servants of the Entities.

Though on that note, I wonder if Inari has some gear that she can't use anymore (due to just being a spirit now) and will be handing over to Taylor if and when they take a trip to the former goddess's old stomping grounds.

Inari: (while pawing through a bunch of trunks) "Huh, forgot I kept this. Still that was some party."
Taylor: "Party?"
Inari: "Well what I can remember of it anyway. When you got me, Ægir, Bes, Biersal, and Mbaba Mwana Waresa all helping with the drinks it gets a little excessive. Things started getting fuzzy by the third hour."

I imagine Ammy would place a paw on her shoulder, and yip.

This Taylor would then sigh, and nod. She can't deny the logic, she truly is a goddess.

I thoroughly disagree. The true constant of the multiverse is that Sunny's presence causes Taylor to be thoroughly unaware of any oddness in her vicinity. Fluffbutt!Taylor would, upon realizing that Inari is not the only unusually intelligent animal out there (not even the only one bonded to a Taylor, though Sunshine doesn't talk) further be convinced that all this talk of divinity is just power weirdness.

Inari herself would realize exactly what is going on and be busy making distressed fox noises.

"Ammy!"

"*Clueless tongue lolling*"

"Don't you dare make that face at me! I see what you're doing! Shoo, get!"

"*sad whine and friendly lick*"

"... *Inari sighs and pets the dog* You are way too good at this"

"*Happy/Smug Bark*"

"This is a good dog. Have you seen how good this dog is?"
"... Are you okay Inari?"
"I am now that I am patting this good dog."
*Good doG noises*
"Huh, you're right. This is a good dog."

That's because Ammy WANTS it that way. She likes the way things are going for her, and having her, currently only, priestess freak out would not be conducive to the life she's cultivating. Plus... Pretty sure Taylor is more just willfully ignoring all the weirdness for a similar reason.

If Ammy wants someone to have no doubt as to her identity, they have no doubt as to her identity.
