He regenerates. He's a living liver farm!
You know, I just realised it might not be the liver that might be in trouble...
That is based upon a number of assumptions that might not be valid.
First of all, Taylor is NOT a Kitsune, a Gumiho, a Spirit Fox, or whatever.
She is a Fox Goddess that just happened to default to the multi-tailed look that Kitsune and the likes were known for.
Although Inari's interference might be a reason for that.
Remember, the main traits of Kitsune etc are shapeshifting, Foxfire and illusions. Taylor hasn't shown a single one of those.
Second, She is NOT Shinto, Olympian, Aesir, Annunaki, or whatever.
She is the first member of a completely new Pantheon.
Currently the only other member is the Spirit Fox Inari, Advisor of the Ruler of that new Pantheon.
The fact that this Inari used to be the Shinto God(dess) Inari is an interesting detail, but a detail non-the-less.
Third, The liver and tofu thing.
Taylor is not Asian. She is American, what is considered the West, not the East.
Most people-eaters in Eastern myths go after the liver. Because according to eastern belief, the Liver is the seat of a body's vital energy, the life force, so to speak.
So instead of having to eat an entire human, they could just eat the liver and get all the available life energy in one go.
In Western myth however, that role is reserved for the heart. There are enough stories about eating the heart of a defeated foe to claim their power.
With bathing in the lifeblood a close second.
And the Tofu is based upon a handful of stories where a kitsune / gumiho could be convinced to accept tofu instead of going after a liver.
So, all things considered, there are a lot of reasons all those old stories might all be invalid now.
Taylor is the start of a completely new set of stories. The Asian / Shinto part might have a strong influence thanks to Inari, but in the end it wil be Taylor who will shape those stories.
So, she might go after liver when sufficiently riled up. Or after a heart. Or, considering parahumans, she might try to crack open a few skulls to get to the brains.
Or, considering what happened to Victor, she might even start with nonphysical things and eat someones personality or something like that.
And instead of Tofu, for all we know, she might be pacified by a good bowl of Corn flakes or something like that.
Seeing her interaction with Inari during breakfast, that might default to Bacon...
