Question: can some of the options that didn't win happen by themselves later in the quest?

They can yes, it'll just take a while and some may just not happen at all.

I've been meaning to ask why do we care about the navigators so much? Weren't the navigators only a temporary solution? Like I know they are the only reason we can travel the void NOW but in the future when all our ships have automatic navigation hardware like the dark age have they will be obsolete.

Although I guess if we aren't anywhere close to rediscovering or replicateing the Tec to do so navigators are absolutely needed.

The Navigators are technically temporary, but they're going to be around for a good few centuries if not millenia.

Hey daemon, since it looks more and more like having khorne win (and the thought both sickens and delightens me) what would happen to the orks as a race? How much if the ork race as a whole has joined in the thing? What would all of the ork heros happen to themselves? And how much can we say that the BAT(Blood and thunder(heh :D) will the works still be fighting for the supposed 100 years or if either sides wind, does that just become how long it could have been stretched out for?

I will say right now I'd rate it as leaning Ork rather than Khorne winning. If Khorne does win though, the Orks as a whole are going to get more violent and also just be more professional in how they go about conducting Waaghs. Orks would lack weirdboyz though. And for how long the Blood and Thunder War lasts, that's up to the dice.

I was under the impression the orcs were winning.

I'd say they are slightly, right now different sides are winning different parts of the war.

The Navigators are also a unique psyker breed with distinct advantages and disadvantages compared to normal psykers, even without the navigator function they are useful as fairly stable espers.

Actually, the important thing anout Navis is they arent psykers. They can merely see into the warp using their third eye. This not so little difference means that navigators are only as big a daemon risk as a normal human. Which is to say you need a lot of them doing the same thing to be an actual risk.

They have much of the same value as the sensory and intel focused psykers, at less risk, they can fill similar supporting roles and are in many ways equivalent. Furthermore they're hooked up to the warp and can use it to do spooky things, how are they not psykers?

January 8th, 2022 Omake Rewards

Alright, makes. First up we have a lovely story of Morianne and Magnus meeting up once more. This is basically how the conversation went, and it's a great read. I did love Magnus going through the Primarchs, describing each one as how he viewed them. The Shroud of Night is also an interesting artifact, and one that I do like a fair bit. It'll be a while until Magnus can fully exploit its properties, but he'll have fun with it. As for your reward:

[] +10 to a roll of the GM's choice
[] +10 to Morianne's rolls for the turn
[] Slightly easier for Magnus to exploit the Shroud of Night

And up next we have another amazing omake from TG. I really love the designs of each of the Citadels, each is so unique and mesmerizing in its nightmarishness. The Slaughterhouse was my favorite of the group. It's just such a fascinating idea and it fits so unbelievably well. Not to mention the haunting description of it looking like a spine and how it keeps getting built. Absolutely lovely. As for your reward:

[] +10 to a roll of the GM's choice
[] +10 to Dorn's rolls for the year
[] The Eight Citadels - Not a trait. Not revealed if chosen.

Alright. It's been a bit slow here, but I've been working on this Omake for a while.

Next up we have another great omake, this one sadly noncanon. I've got to say I did love the banter throughout it. The other Wardens trying to get Abdul to tone it down was great, and the yelling match with the sword was unique and just a delight to read. As for your reward:

[] +10 to a roll of the GM's choice
[] +10 to Abdul's rolls for the turn
[] Tone it Down - Not a trait, not revealed if chosen

Slowly, expecting to hear the crack of gun fire, the General exited the Baneblade tank that had carried him this far with gun at the ready. Only to find the oppressive silence complete as it had been ever since he had entered this place.

Up next we have a tale of one of the Imperium's alpha psykers. As you can see, they're pretty insane. And it's expected that they'll have a rather short life due to the Imperium not really being able to train them. Even Magnus would have a hard time doing so as the IA doesn't like it when psykers are allowed to sit back during their term of service. As for your reward:

[] +10 to a roll of the GM's choice
[] Tiny, Tiny decrease in casualties due to this psykers work (100 billion)
[] Slightly reduced chance of this psyker going insane this turn

Here is my first foray into a larger Omake Series written by a another person, in this case Ruirk and the series in question is the Majestic series. With the new revelations and stuff on discord over the last few days there was a new avenue I could use for my character in Auro to further his arc and nature in a different manner from the most of the legion. So I wrote this omake having him be seconded in a way to Majestic, which will see him removed from the Legion save for entire Legion scale events such as another Maelstorm Crusade.

Next up we have Auro being recruited by Majestic. It's a neat omake that shows the process by which he was recruited very well, and I did enjoy the reasoning between Alexander and Cawl. That was a fair bit of fun. Auro's introduction at the end was also a neat way to end things, and for your reward:

[] +10 to a roll of the GM's choice
[] +10 to the Grey Soul research roll for this turn
[] Slightly increased information gained on a success for the research roll

Wayfinders of the Wardens.

Up next we have a neat omake on the Navigator of the Vigilance. I do like how you described House Lumenox's goal of purity. It fits very well with the Wardens, and the entire omake felt like a great introduction to Arianne. I'm kind of sad it wasn't longer as it was a great read. As for your reward:

[] +10 to a roll of the GM's choice
[] +10 to the Vigilance's rolls for the turn
[] House of Purity - Not a trait, not revealed if chosen

War Report: Threats within the Halo Stars

Last up, as I don't really feel like doing more omake rewards today, we have a great omake on the threats within the Halo Stars. Each of these three is unique and interesting in their own ways, and I do love Patriach GRADE system that was discussed in the threat level sections. That really added a level of realism to the omake which I enjoyed. As for your reward:

[] +15 to a roll of the GM's choice
[] +10 to Atani rolls for the turn
[] Increased odds the Outsider hits one of them rather than the Atani this turn

[] Slightly reduced chance of this psyker going insane this turn
[] Slightly increased information gained on a success for the research roll
I am going with these options. The first because the Alpha has been sane for a long time and I want that to remain the case, the second because getting more info is always a good thing when working in the weeds like this.

[] Slightly easier for Magnus to exploit the Shroud of Night

Yes, let us give one of the most powerful psykers in the galaxy an easier means to stealth around

[] Increased odds the Outsider hits one of them rather than the Atani this turn

Oh my god, the Lugals versus the Outsider. That would be the shit.

I'm glad you enjoyed this was, it was certainly fun even if it took a surprising while to get through. Glad I seem to be picking up the pace on that front. Going to be interesting to see how the Blood and Thunder War develops later on.

As for my choice, as it seems most fitting, the third, The Eight Citadels, as that just seems neato.

Glad I captured this idea of mine well, Navigators are always such a fascinating bunch. I'll be sure to add another part to this omake idea, show the actual meeting, but for now I'm happy that it's been enjoyed.

Same as before, I'll pick the third, House of Purity, as that seems most fitting.

Infrastructure is a mixed group of 2 values. Infrastructure and technology. There are 10 tiers of infrastructure based on the largest object that can be made, and 6 tiers of technology. When a sector reaches a value of infrastructure level Cruiser and tech level High, it gets a capstone infrastructure project unique to it.

Tier 1: Destroyed
Tier 2: Devastated
Tier 3: None
Tier 4: Low
Tier 5: Minor
Tier 6: Factories
Tier 7: Orbital production
Tier 8: Cruiser shipyards
Tier 9: Battleship shipyards
Tier 10: Capable of Gloriana Production

Tier 1: Pre-Industrial
Tier 2: Modern
Tier 3: Pre-Warp
Tier 4: Low-Mid Imperial
Tier 5: High Imperial
Tier 6: Advanced

Now each sector is extremely different from another, and you will note that I'm not giving the values for what each sector produces. Nor am I giving you the upkeep. That's mainly because this is meant to be a narrative system rather than the previous mathematical one that I used before that wound up exploding on me. Due to each sector being unique, each one produces a different amount of resources even if they have the same infra and tech level as another.

There are 4 resources in TLP. Technology, which represents high-end production, Materials, which is low-end materials like lasguns, Population, which is self-explanatory, and Consumer Goods, which have no purpose apart from indicating the quality of life of the domain. You will find that there are very few things that actually use Consumer Goods, and even Population is seldom used outside of recruiting guardsmen. Each sector produces some amount of the 4.

Technology goes up mainly with your tech level. Improve that to get more. Materials goes up with the infrastructure. Due to these two being intertwined, higher materials comes with higher tech. As for consumer goods, they're a representation of quality of life, so they go down with the number of sectors you have. But each sector also makes more which means that higher productivity sectors are good for several reasons.

As for your domain, here is yours:

Due to your previous deal with the Mechanicum, two sectors are upgraded to Cruiser Shipyards and High each turn, starting from the worst sectors. Do note that this does give the Mechanicum more influence within your domain.

Right now, here's your per turn production of everything:

Technology: 89
Materials: 897
Population: 555
Consumer Goods: 390

Alright, as I just finished starting your domain in preparation for the return of the production system. I thought I'd draw your attention to it being done and put here.

Well, I am still a bit sad that it's Noncannon, but that is the risk when trying to write of the future~

Still, I had fun imagining how such a thing would work, and deducing that Abdul and his blade wouldn't like each other, for one was made to be like the other, is really fun.

As for the reward...Well, as much as I love the idea of toning it down, I got some flak for all the hidden rewards I get, and in the turn where Abdul might actually get some use, and is training up the Antigians, some higher rolls feels appropriate.

[X]+10 to Abdul's rolls for the turn

This was the Antigians even get some upgrades.

Edit: Medics! Medics! Medics! Medics! Medics!

Omake rewards are actually something just the omake writer votes on.

Question… are the eldar allies to the imperium? Or are they only allies with the thousand sons? And if so I have serious reservations that Magnus is not able to to see if they are manipulating him.

Thousand sons, and the idea of manipulating Magnus, well it's more of a trust thing at this point I think. And guess what Daemon? You've still got 37 more omakes with Mysterio being involed to Grade.:p

They are only allied to Magnus and I mean Magnus isn't known for his ability to detect when he is being manipulated
Edit: they also manipulate the imperium into promotioing people "open to working with eldar"

The northern regions of Elsweyr are dominated by badlands and desert, a climate of which has influenced the culture of the Anequina Khajiit massively. The 'kingdom' is little more than a collection of chiefdoms in loose cooperation, but all with a common goal of preserving said culture and protecting their lands.
The southern regions of Elsweyr are dominated by dense jungles and woodland, similar to that of neighbouring Valenwood, the climate of which has influenced the culture of the Pelletine Khajiit as much as that of their counterparts to the North. It is presumed that the head of state in Pelletine remains to be that of the religious Khajiit Mane, who resides in the city of Torval. The society of Pelletine itself seems to be deeply involved in the process of trade and the production of the hallucinogenic moon sugars, which hold cultural and religious value in Khajiiti society. The aristocracy of Pelletine is known to own the vast groves and plantations devoted to growing this lucrative and often controversial drug.
the khajiit
The Khajiit are the native race of Elsweyr. Both a Khajiit's appearance and physiology depend on the Lunar Lattice of Masser and Secunda during the time of its birth. These appearances can vary drastically from one breed to another, with some Khajiit resembling the common house cat, other Khajiit resembling huge bipedal jaguars,

Many Khajiit disdain weapons in favor of their natural claws. They make excellent thieves due to their natural agility and unmatched acrobatic abilities. Many Khajiit are also warriors, although this is mainly true of the Cathay and Cathay-raht, while the other breeds are quadrupedal - either muscular and extremely hardy or lithe and very agile. In addition to their native quickness, Khajiit have developed a natural proficiency in stealth, and have the added benefit of native night vision.

The herb and alchemical ingredient Nightshade is native to Elsweyr, and is reputed to be quite poisonous. Despite that, the Khajiit cherish the Nightshade, attributing magical powers to it and hiding it in "their armor to increase their abilities to skulk, hide and become invisible." The plant is also to be found in Western Cyrodiil, surrounding Skingrad, but also in lesser quantities around Bravil in the Nibenay Basin and Cheydinhal in the northeast. , Nightshade, properly processed, damages health and luck, burdens, and fortifies magicka. As no further effects are registered, it could be presumed that the Khajiit habit remains a bit of superstition.

planet survay : argonia aka the black marches
The name "Black Marsh" was given to the portion of Argonia that was conquered by akavir .The majority of this province is a swampy marshland, with the southern half resembling a network of small islands, broken up by intersecting rivers. Little is known about the actual size of Argonia, except that Lilmoth is located fifteen miles from the Topal Bay.the province of Black Marsh encompasses the south-easternmost lands of the continent.
Exploring Elder Scrolls: The Argonians of Black Marsh - YouTube

Black Marsh is also subjected to a unique type of rain that is sometimes referred to by the region's inhabitants as "Hist Piss." Often accompanied by heavy thunder and fog, it has been described as "an inferno of foul-smelling, yellow-brown rain."

Culture

Very little is known about the Argonian culture as of the Fourth Era. The difficult terrain within the Black Marsh, coupled with the apparent isolationist policies of the Argonians, renders this largely a mystery. It is known that great emphasis is placed upon the Hist, the strange trees that are abundant in the Marsh. Even what little is known about the Hist is the subject of much rumor and speculation. It is believed that the Argonians are somehow co-dependent upon the trees, and that the Hist forms some sort of hive-mind.

Marital customs among the Argonians is one of the few widely-known aspects of Argonian life. some Argonians adhere to their native marriage traditions. In Black Marsh, it is customary to present a lover with an Argonian wedding band, which is crafted by the courting member. Each ring is unique and has personal meaning to the creator and the recipient. The actual ceremony of marriage is very long and complex, and involves unique rituals, spoken in the native language of the Argonians.

Argonian culture in Black Marsh is not fully understood. Some evidence suggests that, like the Khajiit, the Argonian lifestyle is tribal. However, considering references to the Royal court of Argonia and the existence of the Shadowscales, the presence of some form of organized Argonian government is indeed possible.in the past Argonians built stone stepped pyramids called Xanmeers. The artistic carvings adorned on the ancient xanmeers depict reptilian heads, stylized with right angles. Many present-day Argonian settlements are built on the site of Xanmeers, utilizing the structures as palaces and plazas.

Hammerfell is a massive region, covered by vast mountain ranges, grasslands, and deserts. The desolate Alik'r Desert is one of Hammerfell's most well-known regions, taking up a large fraction of the province.

The province is especially notable for being the home of the Redguards, a race of men known for being cunning warriors and skilled swordsmen.

Show Your Redguards! — Elder Scrolls Online
The Redguards are humans who hail from Hammerfell their home. Due to their swift and decisive conquest of Hammerfell, the Redguards are renowned as some of the most naturally gifted warriors in the Tamriel sector . Their ferocity and versatility is also manifested in their personality, which lends itself to why they are most effective as scouts and in small units as opposed to being deployed as rank and file soldiers.

The Redguards' innate agility and high level of endurance allows them to excel in any activity that demands sustained effort. Most notably in combat. They are largely average in height, with a well muscled and sturdy physique. Also, they are blessed with a very hardy constitution that allows them to resist poison. In appearance, the Redguards' skin tone can range from light brown to black and their hair texture ranges from thick and wavy to tightly curled and wiry.

Major cities

The city of Sentinel.

The Alik'r Desert is a region of northern Hammerfell within the Iliac Bay region. The Alik'r Desert also completely surrounds the province of Bergama. The provincial seat is the city of Alik'r. During the Warp in the West, the Alik'r Desert region became a part of the city-state of Sentinel. Dragonstar is a city just south of the border with High Rock and Skyrim. Elinhir is a city in eastern Hammerfell, close to the border with both Skyrim and Cyrodiil. It is close to the Skyrim city of Falkreath. Gilane is a city in southern Hammerfell lying west of Taneth and southeast of Sentinel. The ruins of the capital city of the Rourken Clan can be found nearby. Hegathe is a large city in southwestern Hammerfell, to the south of Sentinel.

Rihad is a port city at the southern edge of Hammerfell, just north of its border with Cyrodiil. Rihad is located on the coast of the Abecean Sea, on the main road between Anvil and Taneth. The Brena River flows into the Abecean Sea just south of the city. The city is an eclectic mix of Redguard Forebears, survivors of the Yokuda Ra Gada, followers of Satakal, a few Bretons, and warriors-in-training from all over Tamriel. Buildings in the city with their flying domes, flying dew sails, and the mosaic colophons were constructed over the ruins of past civilizations. ,armies of Taneth and Rihad were defeated in the Battle of Dragontooth by the Camoran Usurper, which led to the fall of southern Hammerfell. The city was the birthplace of the well-known historian Destri Melarg.

Because Navigators must use their biologically present third eye to see into the warp. Without that, they basically are just a subspecies of human with a third eye socket thats missing an eye. Their soul is no different from a standard human's soul. The eye just sees. Nothing more.

But a Psyker? This is not true. A psyker is explictly different in regards to the soul. Their soul is a direct conduit and bridge into the warp. Even a Seer or someone boosting their senses needs to directly draw the energy from the warp actually do their work. Its the soul that makes a psyker a psyker.

Many people all wanted to escape what was going on but the numerous crackdowns broke many people's will. So what were they supposed to do? Many had committed suicide when they couldn't just take it anymore yet there were plenty left behind so the question kept lingering. No one was sure who essentially said it but it was said.

If you don't want to die then just win. We can't run away then all we have to do is kill these literary pieces of shit until this is over.

It was a simple answer that it was practically absurd that many people would laugh dryly at the remark. If it was possible then they wouldn't be dying in bulk. If it was simple they would not have to watch each piss or shit and have a flamer at the ready. If it was simple then they could easily ignore those voices that kept asking them to embrace "Grandfather's" love…whoever that was. But the remark remained in their minds though. As Absurd it was, there was a certain truth to it. Just survive and kill these "warp xeno" and they would not die to the witch hunters and black brigade. It was a bitter and harsh truth but considering how their options were limited and they could only essentially go forward or be killed by their allies they were not having much options. So they kept fighting, in the hopes of making it another day.

Expectations were now high for the riptide riders. In seeing their actions on banishing four greater demons there was private talk on learning and copying the skill displayed by them and potentially having the Imperial Guard reenacting it on similar battles. Granted this would be a long time before actual results were shown but the sheer display had people talking about the merits of a potential idea. There was also talk on ensuring the riptide riders would survive their penal term. They could not cut down the length of time but they would ensure that they still received what they needed to keep up the level of performance they had done here. Food, ammunition, gear, parts, medical supplies were talked about ensuring they would be delivered to them on a timely matter and not accidently lost due to the administration. One could say in the depths of hell the riptide riders found a wave of benefits.

Jagatai Khan wiped his sword, cleaning the filth that got on it. An attack on his ship by the Yaksha kings no doubt in the hopes of damaging it leaving him stranded and be picked off no doubt mirroring his hit and run tactics. Or in the actual deluded hopes of potentially killing him Jagatai snorted at the concept, he would not die to yaksha like these and they would not get his life easily it would cost them very dearly before it actually happened. Regardless the ship was still in good condition and they were on their way to their destination. It would be a matter of time before he made planetfall and there…the hunt would begin.

Empty. That was how things looked at first glance, yet the taste of iron was heavy in the air. The followers of the Blood god certainly made their presence well known here. Regardless his purpose and mission was clear. Jagatai was to find this fake "Omnicopaeia" and….well destroy or retrieve it were still up in the air regardless, leaving it alone was not possible for the time being. The location it was being held was well defended but lacking the sheer numbers to fully use it to its full potential. Though time was in the essence given time this could threaten the Imperium in a manner that could potentially break it.

Jubhal Khan looked at the report. A towering race that touches the edge of space, these creatures make the ground shudder with each step, and killing them will be all but impossible. These demons would certainly make the phrase "the bigger they are the harder they fall" literal. It was not going to be an ideal fight. After all, few would enjoy the idea of ants trying to kill giants. Yet they had to do so. They could not fail here and he would see to that. He would have to ensure there were miracles for the people down below who were in need of one. Thus he would give them one.

The sheer thought of hunting giants was something that he never thought he would end up doing. It was…a novel experience. Jubhal Khan had hunted various xeno, but an actual giant was not one of them. A part of would actually look forward to telling this tale to his brothers…provided he survived of course. Finding them was a simple matter they were impossible to miss, unless you were blind. You could feel the earth quakes from the steps they took, you could hear the breaths they did like a wind going through a valley. Soon you would hear the screams that would rock the planet itself.

Solarus knew he was getting close. The fat bastard hadn't shown his ugly face for a while but the sheer fact that he was bombing everything meant that he was slowly grinding his tolerance down. Demons were not human but there was a certain logic process in their thinking that they could not escape. Especially if it was destroying/defying what they had dear to them. Which Solaris was doing, regardless it was a matter of time before it came out and the longer he stayed hidden the more time was give to bring everything down to the ground allowing more turf to be claimed and creating a more ideal defensive line. But he was getting close, he could feel it. Said bastard was getting to the exploding point of just sitting back and watching him destroy everything he built under his father's name. And when the exploding came and he came out….well that's when Solaris would introduce his explosion to said bastard.

Petus silently fumed at what he was seeing, that blasted warden was destroying the world in Nurgle glory! Everything he had built was being torn down and the bastard was doing so with a smile on his face, how dare he! It didn't help that the ritual he had planned was countered by that grumpy iron warrior who figured out what he was doing. He was so close to making them all see the truth of Nurgle and what they were doing was pointless and made them repent their earlier actions. BUT NO, it was not meant to be! It was getting to the point that Petus would have to do something because there was slowly nothing left for this world that learned Nurgle love. Which for starters would be killing that blasted bomber with his own two hands.

Shade fought demon, demon fought shade both sides trying to murder the other. It was obvious which one was winning. Oh the shades were fighting as hard as they could but they were outnumbered by demons and traitorous crew members. They were only making progress due to the constant advances, taking checkpoints, forming kill zones, and blowing any ship they could not reclaim. If they ever stopped it was likely that they would be overwhelmed and while they would take their killers with them, numbers were always on the demon's side.

Many in the navy who were still loyal had no idea what exactly to expect from the "shades of the warden" ; they heard few things. Things like the "broken conclave" where a "god of evil" lived or was trapped? Which was killed by the Warden Kesar Dorlin himself which resulted in this change of former behavior they had. Whatever their behavior was apparently the warden himself was now viewed as a "god" of some sort due to how they killed a god of evil. Though from what censored info was found said god was just a psyker, powerful psyker but a psyker nonetheless. So many in the navy had little expectations of these people coming in and joining the fight, overall they were viewed as guardsmen with some strange personality and obsession to the Eternal Wardens. Yet when reality broke, madness came rushing out and fellow navy crew members betrayed everything they stood forward it broke many people. What could an average person do here? A person should run, should join the winning side, embrace the "truth" yet the shades had a response for everyone. They would fight, they would fight against madness, they would fight reclaiming ships, and any ships they could not reclaim they destroyed all while chanting a chant that many would hear and remember for the rest of their lives.

"THE WARP CAN BLEED, THE WARP CAN DIE!"

Mysterio's Omakes 11
Malcador had to take a deep breath on what the latest report showed and frankly he was tempted to growl at what he just read. Angron created even MORE of mess in the Desolation and frankly felt he wasn't responsible for it! Not helping things were some lord generals who decided to rebel one who had access to Astarte gene seed, so no doubt he would try tinkering it on his own and hope to create his own branch of super soldiers. Though said general would not know what he was dealing with frankly speaking they were far more complicated than they look. Even tech priests of Mars only understood so much. Didn't change the headache they were going to give. Not helping matters were the solar auxiliaries running away along with the Imperial guard. Certainly painted an ugly picture of them and one that would take time to fix, unless outside actions came in. Angron certainly had increased his work load from finding replacement troops, reclaiming territory, reestablishing infrastructure, trade routes, political agendas etc the list went on and on. At this rate Malcador was sincerely considering punching Angron at his face for the increased workload he was giving him. At the very least he intended to do so.

Malcador had to sigh at the latest reports coming in. Progress was being made in the Maelstrom Mission, or some would call it the Ritual crusade. Really they needed to come with a single title for that campaign it felt like people were not entirely sure on what to call it.

Regardless they were coming across difficulties from the four. Which was no surprise, nor was it any surprise on the number of deserters, traitors and new problems.. Guilliman was handling the supply and reinforcements which was a load off his back. Though there was always that nagging feeling on wanting to do more. Sadly he sent all the support he could. Well he could have tried to send the Septempus Temple to aid. Unfortunately Angron had created the Desolation and with that any additional support went out the window. The twins were upset upon learning they had wanted to provide aid to Kesar to ensure he would be successful on his part. Sadly reality was not kind to anyone as it threw wrenches on all plans.

Mortarion had to snarl at the messenger who brought the reply from Angron which was "If you wanted someone to rule, don't ask me to have done that." Honestly were those nails on his head making him retarded or irresponsible? Mortarion had no idea and frankly he didn't give a shit. He came to help and Angron's behavior and attitude was like this? He was coming in to help clean this massive mess that Angron had created and Angron was not doing anything about it! Did the moron even know how much trouble he was causing in the crusade?! How his actions were causing massive amounts of rebellions, revolutions, and revolts?!? How many worlds were practically wastelands through his actions? How the Imperial Guard was running away? How his fellow brothers were now looking at Angron as a severe problem? How there was an actual talk of a council gathering to discuss what to do to Angron himself? Did he honestly think this kind of behavior would be acceptable or allowed? Mortarion had some hope that Angron could be slightly better but apparently Angron actions and behavior killed all hopes.

Mortarion had hoped that his contributions would make a difference but the problem was spreading too fast and growing too rapidly. Every rebellion and revolt put down a dozen more would rise up. It wasn't the strength of rebellions so far it was the sheer numbers that were the growing concern. Too many fires, not enough reliable hands to put them out. He would have to spread his legion just to put down as many as he could but stretch too far and his own death guard would get overwhelmed and die for nothing. Though concentrating on too few and a number of worlds would either become worse from casualty reports or said planet fortifying against the imperium that he would have to deal with. It was getting to the point that he would have to use the "standard procedure" that was reserved for xeno empires on the borders of the Imperium on the actual home worlds of the imperium. Mortarion had hoped it would not have been necessary….it would seem it would be.

Tagsat had to take a deep breath, they made it through another day, another day where madness was real and could talk. Honestly fleeing wasn't possible so they would have to survive, and surviving would mean moving constantly be alert then so be it. Though it was tough each day and frankly it felt like it was going to get worse. Unless they did something about the individuals that call this place "home" they were never going to be safe. They would have to start attacking because running was only doing so much. Though that was simple to say but hard to do in actuality but if they wanted to make it though they would have to do the very mission they were given with.

Corday was silent, things had certainly didn't go as they had hoped. It didn't help that they were trapped and the Astarte's were all dead. It certainly made things worse; things were bad enough that people looked to her for actual guidance. Which was ironic as hell but that showed how bad things were. Which was troubling for she herself wasn't sure what the correct choice was to do. Being in a leader position was stressful that it made her wonder why people wanted to be a leader to begin with. Yet with the way things were they were now counting on her to stay alive and many would find her presence reassuring. Overall if she did survive this campaign it would be a very strange experience. One that would play a direct role on what would come for her future.

Skullface had to laugh at the report. It wasn't funny to be honest, it was grim and depressing. And frankly he was perfectly okay with that. It was a job to be dealt with the bad hand and the string of success certainly seemed to be building things up for this. But even so having part of the army under his control sent to an actual shit show? Well they were going to see how bad things were. And those left behind were going to be understaffed meaning it would be easier to be overwhelmed. It was going to push his skill as a leader and as a general to keep people alive. But he would do regardless, he had plans, plans for the future and if he wanted to see them happen he would have to not only survive but actually succeed.

Orion wasn't sure what to say on the latest news, people were having to be redeployed and that meant they were going to have regiments moved to another location. Which raised the concern whether or not they could maintain the level of success they had previously accomplished. Granted, Skull face said if things get bad enough then he would be able to live up to the horrible image he had already going for him. Orion certainly had no response to that, Skull Face had painted himself as a monster that many would claim as a demon in human skin but the success he had created was giving people doubt. It was no surprise, when a general is good at something it makes a person reexamine them from any former bad image they had. Though that the reverse held true, even a good man could be seen as a monster if he was bad at commanding and leading. Overall Orion wasn't sure what he wanted Skullface to be seen, the time he spent with him the more he learned about the man….it made him very concerned.

The people under the command of skull face were getting silently nervous. Orders came in that due to the success they were going to be repositioned to other locations. One of those locations was being called one of the worst places to be in. Many were not looking forward to the redeployment and none would blame them. Though deserting and running away was not going to be tolerated by the Primarch Perturabo who had witch hunters and black brigades looking for any people planning on doing so. Though many were cautiously optimistic that they could turn a bad situation into a manageable one. Though they didn't say it out loud, they knew many would question their sanity at the very least. Granted they would find out very soon if they were naïve or correct in their assumption.

For the people in the world what many would posthumously call the "kill zone" or the "slaughterhouse" upon hearing reinforcements were coming did little to improve the mood. So grim was the mood that the news of reinforcements arriving did nothing to change the general attitude. Many saw it was fresh meat to the slaughter. More were seen as additional bodies to burn. Unless these new regiments could provide actual victories many had no expectations on the coming battles.

Mysterio's Omakes 12
They came in silence, there was no announcement, no warning, everything was in secret. Countless sisters of silence masking their presence, countless devices from the dark age of technology and secrets that man was not meant to know masking as much they could. Yet they knew they were not safe. They knew it was a matter of time. So every second mattered, they made every second count. Work went into place, fortifications were built, runes were placed, kill zones were made, countless things that would make any other world "secured" in a normal setting was considered very basic at the very least. For they all knew when the foe arrived they would bring insanity and defy everything they had built in the hopes of ensuring they would fail. For the very work they were doing would change the fate of the galaxy at large hence success was important and would determine the future.

The Emperor sat deep in the planet, one that would play the role to purify the Maelstrom and waited. His ritual was slow to build up, it would take time and time was a precious commodity. Even more so when the four would do almost everything to ensure he would fail in his endeavor. Though things were currently in a more favorable position it did not mean it was secured. Khorne was busy with the Blood and Thunder war, Nurgle would be distracted by the Maelstrom campaign and the "rescue" from the twins, Slaanesh…was distracted by the attacks of Orcs and would be late to respond from what he saw. As for Tzeentch…..he would be one of the biggest concerns and one to play the biggest obstacle to deal with. It was likely he would be the first one to notice what was going on and try to place his hand on things and make it profitable for him while hurting everyone else. In fact it was likely that he would be searching for him and planning on stopping the ritual. The twins in general were the best in countering tzeentch but the actions of Nurgle certainly made things difficult for them. So the Emperor would have to resolve this using other creative solutions he had planned for other situations that would be fit here. Whether or not it worked was the question.

"It's a trap" were the words Otto muttered as he stared at the report. He could only frown at what he was reading? No opposition? No trouble? No challenge? Oh it was absolutely a trap and one that was going to be nasty. The Bitch in charge of his former world was known for plenty of things but lax? That was not one of them. If anything it just showed he had something planned for them and it was going to be equally nasty as well as devastating for the Imperium. Otto had a few guesses as to what, most involve getting as much of the imperial army in one place to either unleash some horrific trap or attempt to corrupt as many as she could and watch as the Imperial army tear itself apart while she watched the "show". It would certainly fit her modulus opera standard. Then again those tunnels were a real kill zone. Though he had a feeling the worst would be in the center of the planet. From what censored information he could gather the bitch had turned his former world into some oyster where the "pearl" was in the literal center of the planet.

Ormorn Gundar didn't like this planet, not one but. It was quiet…too quiet, the kind of quiet that highlighted a coming ambush. Even when nothing happened he still didn't like it. Worse were the tunnels that were filled with all manner of traps that getting through them was a real hassle. It was a slow process of getting rid of them but it was worth it overall. Flamers, grenades, false bodies, heck even rolling a wheel down a tunnel set plenty of those traps off. Though the report he received from Admiral Otto seems to reconfirm his suspicion on the situation. Agreeing with his judgment was every single Eternal Warden who each felt the worst was about to come.

Miss Nobody hummed to herself as the walls around twisted and withered at her presence. It was annoying to just stand around but the longer she stood and caused sections of the Labyrinth to collapse the easier it would be for everyone. Granted there was the occasional demon that tried to kill her but they only lasted so long before they were banished due to her presence but it did give a reprieve from boredom.

Otto read the report and while part of him desired to be on former home planet ensuring the bitch died a horrible death he would aid this planet and assure it was taken over. This Labyrinth was certainly nasty and frankly speaking he wasn't sure how he would counter or deal with that if he didn't have the aid of a "Miss Nobody" all information about said individual was on a need to know basis but considering how much Miss Nobody was turning a bad situation into a manageable one it was becoming sort of an open secret of her existence. Granted all interactions were done by Vox due to her….nature. But Otto could certainly work something with her, it would challenging, it would be tricky but he had been pushed before and this was going to be another challenge to rise above.

Jagatai Khan could only frown at the sheer lack of obstacles he faced. Only 3 blood thirsters? Very few and no doubt the trap had yet to be sprung. No doubt it was close to the "false holy grail" that he was heading towards. It was practically obvious yet how he and his so-called opponent had both known he would have to go to it. It was something that could not be left to chance in the possibility of creating issues for the Mechanicum in the long run. Not helping matters was his other mission that made getting to the false grail important.

He was getting closer to the said location where the false grail was being held and frankly he knew the fight there would determine how the outcome on this single planet would go. If he was successful it was hopeful that occupying his planet would be a simple matter and he could be redeployed to another location and aid in another location in desperate need of support. If things were bad….then he could be stuck here for who knows just how long and be unable to do anything in the overall campaign.

Doom Slayer growled at the latest charge of enemies that came. Once again he ripped and tears through them and the imperial army and his fellow brothers all followed behind him. So far in the fighting that one could lose sight of him but be able to find him through the trail of dead bodies left behind. Many of the Imperial Guard could only stare at him and wonder if there are more Wardens with his exact skill. Few call him a world eater in different colors but most shut those up due to the sheer gratitude of not dying to the madness on this planet.

Forrix could only stare at the sheer carnage Doom Slayer was displaying and how all expectations were being met by him. Part of Forrix wondered if it would be possible for future team ups to happen due to shear success he was achieving here with Doom Slayer under his command. Had any of the Iron warriors displayed the sheer ability that Doom Slayer was displaying so many strategies and outcomes could had been different. It was very well possible that the title "corpse grinders" may had never been smeared on them if they were able to show results like this on past battles. They may have been compared to other famous legions like the Luna wolves, Dark Angels, Blood Angels, or Ultramarines.
okay this is enough for today I might be able to put more tomorrow if nothing happens but I really can't make promises.
