*takes a gander at the updated military sheet*

Well, I can say that whoever was dumb enough to invade the Nine Worlds is about to be in for a very nasty surprise once they fight us.

Helguard - +354
Helltroopers - +293
PDF - +255

Apparently the Juvenat bonus for the Helguard is a lot higher than that of the Helltroopers (+61 vs +40), likely due to the Helguard largely being made up of veterans who qualify for it.

Khornate Chaos.

The best kind of Chaos.
Everyone loves delicious Khorneflakes

How many gammas are currently in training? I noticed we found a lot recently. It feels like we have 10 or so in training... actually how many years does gamma training actually take before they take their test?

-6 to all stats became a -5. Leopold is on his way to becoming yet another bullshit-hax character to reside in the Asgard Sub-Sector.

I'm convinced that the Emperor specifically arranged the local area to become full of heroic characters.

That is actually one of the leading theories in the local InInquisition (in fact its my dice are crazy)

Here's my revised Stat Point post.

Formula: Net Stats -70
Bold is if I consider it noteworthy, which is +60 or greater.
Dump stats increase the effective stat points, as having low numbers in certain stats can be completely irrelevant based on occupation. A half point means it would be nice to have, but not truly critical. Having a low Piety is something of a mixed bag though, as it's usefulness can fluctuate wildly.

Trust Figures: Ranking not including Avernites other than us.
Frederic: +121 base, +154 w/Freya, no dump stat. Highest Martial, 4th Intrigue, Highest Admin, 2nd Piety, Highest Diplomacy, 3rd Combat
Sigurd: +102, no dump stats. 5th Martial, tied 4th Admin, tied 3rd Diplomacy, Highest Combat.
Has the highest Base Stats in the entire Trust.
Zaren: +30, 3.5 dump stats. Tied 4th Admin.
Technically the weakest, but we honestly want a bog standard farmer.
Olaf: +53, 1 dump stat. 2nd Diplomacy.
The low Admin is painful, especially now.
Garp: +90, no dump stat. 2nd Intrigue, 2nd Admin, 3rd Learning.
He's come a LONG way.
Aelfric: +73, 1 dump stat. 2nd Martial, 5th combat.
It would seriously help if he had a higher Admin, but it's still positive.
Granalf: +35, 5(!!) dump stats. (close) 2nd Learning
Mix-Maxed to hell, but still a functional Human being. Thank the GEoM he doesn't need to use his Martial, Intrigue, or Admin though.
Surt: between +73 to +147, no dump stat. 3rd Martial, Highest Intrigue, 3rd Admin, Highest Learning, 3rd Piety (!), 2nd Combat.
Ranking assumes the upper end of what we suspect. Actually surprised about the piety.
Lord Varquez: +123 points, no dump stat. 3rd Intrigue, 3rd Learning, Highest Piety, tied 3rd Diplomacy, 4th Combat.
Exactly what you'd expect out of a Lord Inquisitor of the Ordo Malleus.
Yang Yinn: +66, no dump stat. 5th Intrigue (tied highest when spying). 4th Learning, 4th Piety.
She's rather fresh to her position, and it shows. Lin should probably spend some time with here though.
Admiral Freyr: +56, 2 dump stats. 4th Martial and 4th Diplomacy.
Only because the 3 military leaders ahead of him are freaks of nature.

Avernus Advisors: Not including Trust figures.
Frederic: +121 base, +154 w/Freya, no dump stat. Highest Martial, 2nd Intrigue, Highest Admin, 3rd Piety, 2nd Diplomacy, Highest Combat
Freya Rotbart: +60 base, +105 with Frederic, 1 dump stat. 5th Intrigue, Tied 2nd Admin, Tied 4th Piety, Highest Diplomacy.
Substantially less impressive without us though. Martial is good considering her lack of formal military education.
Caroline Vergil: +45, 3 dump stats. 5th Admin, Worst Combat.
She is a Buff Bot. What more can you ask.
Henry Volkiss: +69, 1.5 dump stats. Tied 2nd Admin.
Highest Admin if not for Caroline.
Oakheart: +70, 2.5 dump stats. (close) 4th highest Intrigue, 2nd deadliest person.
Considering her competition, I'd consider 4th good enough.
Saint Seamus Lin: +136, no dump stat. +53 w/o Sainthood. 5th Martial, Tied 4th Admin, 2rd Learning, Highest Piety, Highest Diplomacy, tied 3rd Combat.
Sainthood turned him into a freak of nature, and blows everyone out of the Water in Piety and Diplomacy.
Fabricator General Britton: +64, 1.5 dump stats. Tied 4th Admin, 3rd Learning, 4th Diplomacy.
The Diplomacy is a legitimate achievement for a Tech Priest
Archmagos Tranth: +49, 4(!) dump stats. Highest Learning, 3rd Piety.
Min Maxed in exactly the right way.
Magos Quintus Saren: +41, 2 dump stats. Worst Martial, Tied 5th Learning.
Far more likely to survive than his brother.
Ridcully: +73, 1.5 dump stats. Tied 4th Martial, 3rd Intrigue, Worst Admin, and 2nd Piety.
He's on par with a rookie Far Seer, of COURSE he's going to be nasty.
Xavier: +86, 1 dump stat. Highest Intrigue, tied 3rd Combat.
Even nastier when he actually uses his Psyker skills.

Avernus Military: Not including Trust figures. Counting Leopold as he currently is.
General Drago: +49, 4.5 (!) dump stats. Tied 2nd Martial, 5th Combat
Jarran Pask: +93, no dump stat. Tied 3rd Martial, 3rd Admin, Tied 5th Learning, Tied 4th Piety, 5th Diplomacy.
He's rapidly catching up to where Leopold was in his prime.
Antoninus Bergen: +36, 4 dump stats.
He's a chair warmer for Fred and/or Draco.
Samanta Khol: +64, 2 dump stats. 3rd Martial, Tied 5th Piety, Worst Diplomacy.
A younger and gender flipped Drago. With a better Admin, Learning, and Piety.
Irwin Volkov: +29, 3.5 dump stats.
Technically our weakest, but only off the battlefield.
Rebecca Agani: +54, 1 dump stats.
She can usually use her Intrigue in place of her Martial
Donato Durant: +48, 2.5 dump stats. Tied 5th Learning.
Our actual weakest link. He has the worst (non Ridcully) Admin on Avernus.
Leopold Schwarz: +55 currently, +90 in his prime, no dump stat. Tied 2rd Martial.
Clear 2nd without Pask. We know just what a monster he is.
Martin Nardoo: +60, 2 dump stats.
Glory whore who'd almost certainly going to get himself killed sometime this century.
Amos Parnell: +48, 3.5 dump stats. 4th Learning.
Actually uses that Learning as a Naval Officer.

One of the running jokes of this quest is than of the Avernite characters, everyone but the AdMech and Caroline have higher Martial scores than at least 4 of our ACTUAL Generals.

Here's the lowest 10 Martial scores to illustrate.
  1. Saren: 5. Legitimately god awful.
  2. Caroline/Britton: 13. Considering they're never going to use it, its fine.
  3. Tranth: 14. Again, not bad for the position.
  4. Agani: 19. Usually uses her Intrigue, but that only pushes her to a Tied 5th with Volkov
  5. Durant: 20
  6. Volkov: 21. 24 on the defensive.
  7. Bergen: 22
  8. Nardo/Oakheart: 23. Nardo is 27 on the offensive, but is vastly more likely to get himself killed.
  9. Xavier: 24
  10. Parnell/Henry: 25

So... some of our bottom ten are breaking the superhuman thresh-hold? Also, Saren must never command a battle, nor should there ever be a reason for him to command a battle. Put the janitor in charge instead, they'd probably be better at it.

Superhuman is 35. But yes, an Avernite Janitor would likely be better. Likely better than many Imperial Guard Officers as well.
