Ok anyone care about the trolls plan?
Anyone against my mother shops spam? I am for it so we can get to the penguins faster and don't have to send our army to mauled in the north when it recovers.
Give them only the bare minimum that they need. No reason to go around up teching the trolls any farther than is required to break there block. The survey ships are good since we really should have built them earlier. And as long as we start looking for brides for our grandson I am okay with the rest.

I'm ok so long as we upgrade the trolls.

i'm rather against giving a race that lives in our backyard, and likes the same kinds of city sites as we do enough tech to start taking up those city sites, without getting a lot out of it.
Wouldn't the same be said about the Trolls, and we've had a peace treaty with them for several hundred years...and they don't like our city sites...

Not enough mountains.

I am asking him first and seeing if there is anyone he wants to be with before we start hunting for his waifu.

Some suggestions

Slot D - Free Greater Divination (Ridcully)
Y?: Free Greater Divination (Nature of the Destroyer)
Can we either sacrifice this to give a boost to the Dragon's plans GD, or pick something that doesn't have such a large malus? I'd prefer this be done with a DD on it, since we are directly looking at a C'Tan.

Munitorum [2 Years]
Slot A:
Y5: Recruit: PDF
Slot B (Personal Attention)
Y1: Lessons Learned: Hive Fleet Grabakr - REPEAT UNTIL SUCCESS
Y3: Recruit (PDF)
You have Recruit (PDF) twice. Maybe change one of these to Helltroopers or start whittling down our "Implement ()" list?

Munitorum [2 Years]
Slot A:
Y5: Recruit: PDF
Slot C (Personal Attention)
Y2: Implement (Bolehs Spider)
Y4: Recruit (Helguard)
Can we please switch the two recruiting actions? The PDF takes much less time than the Helguard does, and a personal attention slot is a lot more versatile than a Munitorum slot. I'd prefer it if the personal slot was open again sooner.

Adminstratum [5 Years, 4 Years]
Slot A [5 Years]
Y2: Expand (Lonely Citadel) to Small Hive
-- EXPEDITE YEAR 2
It was asked on Discord, and Durin said that the Lonely Citadel will be subsumed into Dis once that finishes expanding into a huge hive, without us needing to expand LC into a small hive first. So maybe pick a different city here.

@Nurgle

Also can I repeat my opposition to divining sanguinius when we've got other things we need to do.

Sanguinius is dead and the curses are not a priority cool or interesting as they maybe.

My preference is again for the immant power boost of chaos.

And I've already stated that I think the Thunder Warriors now ain't a good idea.

I a firm believer his soul in on thy ship and needs rescuing. I may or may not be right but if I am that means another primarch we can help. We strange enough would be in a position to sneak someone aboard or help Crovus.

I will ask Durin but unless we can stop the power ups (which I think we can not since they seem to be narrative) divining them can wait.

And I am of the view that trying to sneak into effectively the heart of Abaddon's power is a fool's errand, never mind trying to sneak out a moving crystaline statue that by my most positive interpretation contains Sanguinius's soul lost utterly to the Black Rage, since its able to inflict it even upon those who are not blood angels.

my point is they would like to build cities in montins, which is often where we like to build cities.
There's plenty of mountain.

Even Dis only takes up a fraction of the mountain its in, even if it is bigger than it.

More to the point they live in mountains, not around them or excevating them.

That's like saying that because the Dragon's plans are both something that can change and we are incapable of influencing there's no point knowing them.

Knowing what it will be, how it will come about and more to the point if its possible for the Eldar to interfear in even a minor way could be bloody important.

If for example if Durin rolls up Chaos getting access to the Webway the Eldar can intervene or at least minimise the damage.

If its the Avatar of Khorne then they can start preparing to ensure it goes for the Dragon.

Much like the Dragon's plans this is vital information and the longer its accessible the more options are available to us to minimise the damage or interfear which ever is viable.

But that isn't urgent. Let's get the things that are on a time limit done first. (Those are the defensive wars we and the Eldar are fighting.) The more time we have with the relevant knowledge before the threat hits us, the more we can prepare.

If Sanguinius's spirit is still there, rescuing him would be an offensive operation, one where we (Team Sanity) take the initiative, meaning that we choose when to do it.

For offensive operations, we have all the time in the world to plan and prepare. For defensive ones, we are on a time limit and the clock is already ticking.

Its also a vast investment of time and resources for something that could well end in disaster for something we may well not be able to interact with or move.

Our best option is HHWO for this mission since its by far more knowledgeable in this area.

@Doomed Wombat we don't know what really going on so that is why I am divining to find out. If Durin says we can stop the power ups sure I will change things around but till than my plan is double primarch.

What we know is that we've potentially maybe got Sanguinius's black rage infected statue soul roaming around the central command centres of the Vengeful Spirit and that Chaos is about to get a major power up, the two of which we know being the summoning of the Avatar of Khorne probably the hardest possible feat of daemonology in existence at this point and chaos getting acceces to the webway one of the biggest disasters I can imagine at this junction.

Stopping the powerups isn't the point!

This isn't an odd concept, there's a lot of things we can't stop its getting knowledge around those events that's important and the relative value of the information, the amount of lives that could be saved with one vs the other just doesn't add up to the point that its delusional to compare the two.

In fact I'd go so far as to declare it a highly faulty hypothesis to start from and a highly negative one too.

As I said before its like saying divining the Dragon's plans is worthless because "Oh we can't interfear with them there's no fucking point."

The point is the information we get means we can plan around them, prepare for them and adapt to them.

So please, don't be silly, the soul of a one dead almost certainly insane and absolustely cursed primarch* is worth very little in the face of being able to prepare for one of the most bomb dropping circumstances that will affect things for mellennia to come and change the face of the galaxy.

*If Yellow Doomed astartes are already pretty close to Sanguinius as they're close to Trueborn, then its reasonable to assume that Sanguinius is infinitly more cursed than they are too.

Chaos doesn't have access to the webway. The Dark Eldar were quicked out completely before they sold themselves they can't access it anymore.

And Durin's strongly implied that one of their potential power ups is gaining access to it.

We also know that chaos specifically the Slaaneshi eldar can break into it, the Eldar even had Rids specifically divine where they were doing it.

@Doomed Wombat we do not know if he is insane or what happen to him we only can guess. I am divining to find out if he is still alive or if something else happen to him.
He's dead, we have a corpse, his soul is at best stuck in a block of crystal according to what we know of canon in probably one of the most well fortified places in the galaxy by dint of Abaddon's presence alone.

Sanguinius isn't important.

This is not something I usually care about, I'm all for looking into random stuff I've advocated looking into why Emps is Anathama a lot, BUT!

He is a waste of time a non entity, do not bother with the bloody pidgeon when there are far more important and crucial things that could aid the entire galaxy on an unprecedented scale to indluge our own curiosity!

I'm going to take a more moderate ground here.

Yes, Sanguinius is a subject of interest and we should GD him sometime. Sometime. Just not now. We have more urgent things to worry about at the moment. We should look into Sanguinius when we have time (relativity speaking, in galactic terms).

Right now the parts of Team Sanity that aren't busy fighting a more immediate war (ie Orks for the Krork, the Destroyer for Secondus and the Tau) are bunkering down for the more immediate threats that are coming soon. Let's wait until they aren't.

That's never going to change, but we could stand to be doing this when things have stabalised into the new normal certainly.
