I think it's a mistake to discard this option, the reward isn't stated to be a bonus to fighting 'nids, it could be a bonus to fighting alongside the eldar or a moral bonus against end times tier foes. This was the first war against a truly superior foe and the casualties were immense, we should learn everything we can to help do better next time.

Yeah @Nurgle @Shard I'd throw my support behind getting this done, maybe with a PA.
 
Dunno about pledge to defence save against chaos, but I'd be all for getting them in on hunting chaos psykers.

Orks do attack as well. but the point is level 16 tech for help with construction is far to much. We'd need to find either something more for them to do for us, or a lesser payment.

@Shard would you consider offering the trolls up to the industrial revolution rather than full tau tech?

I think the troll idea is not worth it since they have nothing to offer us and will be exposed to human technology, which will piss off the Conservatives. It is in my opinion not worth it.

We have no need urgnet need for titan design since we can only build one right now, or a urgent need for more EM. Also I want to get stated on fixing the thunder warriors becasue if we can stabilize them that is a long term elite warriors we can use. As it is they start to degrade after 50 years.

I mean the problem is that we really don't know what else the Trolls can do.

I've asked in Discord about things like supplying rare materials, geomancy and other things, but honestly as long as we get the past their developmental block then I'm fine...

Should probably ask what tech level that needs to be though.

That would not allow them to help us with hive contruction.

As for the trolls, I would be extremely interested in asking them to establish some kind of anti psyker force for our cities and hives. I am also interested in maybe even asking them to establish colonies in the many walls of our hives.

They go through and live in stone not metal.

They can certainly establish colonies in our walls, by ripping them appart with their bare hands.

Any colonies would probably need to share with the Nynye not a bad idea neither mind.

And yeah an anti psyker force would be very nice.

The action is long enough that any bonuses from the queen will apply when we finish the first flaw action.

Any bonuses from the queen will likely require follow up actions to put into practises, its all very well Max gaining the theoretical understanding to improve his understanding of psycic genetics, but he'll likely need time to test it study it and put it into effect, which he can't do if his slot is taken up with Thunder Warriors.

It's not like we could use the free action on a biologist action with the way I have things planned.

psycic genetics won't do anything. The Thunder Warriors are all completely genetic engineering only. We are looking to fix those issues from the overload so they don't rip themselves apart from the augmentations.

I see no sarcasim, its a valid point, I'd merely note that there's a very good reason that action is practically slaved to Fabicator general, we need that infrastructure.

Conventional genetic engineering then, the nids are more advanced in both categories by...well the level of a species able to take on a level 30+ species.

I'd feel much safer if the drop one or two Psyker Hunts for Counter Intel. Even though we just forced the Alpha Legion to burn many assets it's best to say ahead of the game when it comes to them.

As I said on discord we have enough time to get them all and go north with them without sacrificing Fundamentals time.

Fundamentals I strongly believe that we should be spending on Psychic Canons.

i'm rather against giving a race that lives in our backyard, and likes the same kinds of city sites as we do enough tech to start taking up those city sites, without getting a lot out of it.

I'm all for spamming them motherships, I'm not up for reducing our relationship with the Trust at all, we have a very important council meeting coming up.
