Hopefully they aren't too difficult (and expensive) to make- being the home of a full chapter or more of knights would be incredible.
I mean they're more difficult to make than regular astartes, hence why we're not maing them.

In general I expect they're much more expensive due to higher equipment standards if nothing else, but a lot more effective in most areas.

Are we still planning on investigating the sea or has that been lost due to Lins death?

so, normally I don't comment about people rating posts....but in this case, well,

Durin rated my post "insightful". Does this mean he is implying that my joke-comment is true?

eeehh....hes probably just taking advantage of the topic and using it to mess with me/us.

probably.

To be fair the PM could had see the Gray marines in action when they had being deployed after the chaos incursion and thought 'oh, shining' in some alien variation. Could has sense some degree of anathema in them and/or etc.
So taking the marine because it could is completely possible to me (so no further reason)^^.

Probably.

Or it could be in reference to the world being as kleptomaniac as we are.

We shall never know.

I've reached page 3101, which means that... yeah, I've covered three months of posts since my last reply.

(So much political debate. MAKE IT STAHP)

The worst part of slowly catching up like this is, I have so many ideas that are probably completely irrelevant to the current situation...

We have the long list of stuff to do in information.
Please write your ideas down so they are remembered and maybe added.
Well okay, but I make no promises that these aren't about problems that have already been solved or left behind. (And don't respond to this post directly, please! I don't want spoilers.)

Siren Trade: there has to be something other than souls they want that we can give without breaking treaties, right? Back in the day we tried human arts and entertainment, iirc, but were rejected.

...but since then, we built up an astonishingly huge community of stable psykers. And it occurs to me that with so many, over so long a period, it makes sense that they've developed their own subculture.

Do Avernus psykers have art that involves psychic powers? Energy sculpture, plays that involve empathic projection, stuff like that? And if so, might the sirens find it of worth?

("Crude. Barbaric! And yet... vital.")

Was there a lot of ploitical debate? Or do you mean the council meetings?

Hey, can we include Sahr to the list of heroes we're deploying just in case we want to find a way to kill him off via bad deployments?

Well, make it subtle, like putting him where someone like him would be needed anyway. Also, Sahr's a radical type and his death would only slightly destabilize the conservatives.
Actually from the wording any spark will start the civil war. Also the conservatives are not stupid and will realize if he dies under Rotbart leadership.

How about we just put Sahr in charge of guarding the ordnatus? and don't try and kill him off? He's a good commander and combatant, might as well use him.

In that case, we'd still need him deployed on Hvergelmir, since that's one of the places we're using the Ordinatus.

yep. but we would not be trying to get him killed. He might still die sure, but I suspect few would buy that we would endanger our war winner for political gain unless he dies under really suspicious circumstances.

The conservatives probably will blame us anyway, the crazy nutcases. Though a genuine death-by-Tyranid without deployment-related foul play would make us look more reasonable to the neutrals and moderates both in and out of the AdMech.

Keep in mind the conservatives are paranoid fanatics on a hair-trigger.

point, but I suspect fewer of them than average would turn violent if that was the trigger.
