We do need a solution that isn't hope on Jane, but its gonna be tricky.

If it weren't for the fact that it wouldn't work we should initiate the Jane Doe protocol.

CLONE JANE A LOT!

Well, we could make some clones, then put them in stasis, then bring them out whenever one dies. If it's anything like Horus, which being a Paragon might stand in for raw psychic might there, we might get lucky and have her soul start moving into the active clone. If not, then she might be able to pass some tricks on to the clone, what with having identical physiology.

Due to Areatha no longer being here shouldn't this action be removed?
We could still contact he through the Eldar I suppose, if slower and in a more limited way.

I am worried about rogue psykers. We need to do something about it. Can't depend upon Jane all the time.
Problem is that our anti psyker forces took a beating in the incursion, so they need all the help they can get. Normally we could survive without her help, we just don't want to because she is super good at this, saves loads of lifes, and we don't have much use for her actions otherwise (just counterintel really). Right now though, we are at the risk of a downright spiral.

Psyker hunters are really goddamn hard to train in numbers, especially the better ones needed against Beta+. Getting Avernites help should plug that hole in time though I think.

Hm, I wonder what the other races think of humanity's Psykery. We don't have the strongest Psykers, but we have a ridiculous number of high-level ones for a race that isn't 100% psychic.

Calming powers, people. CALMING POWERS. ORKS. CALM. WHAT THE FRAK, IT'S RIGHT THERE.
While this is a great idea, I just imagine calming a group of orks, but instead of destroying their ability to fight, you make them enter into a state of Zen.
Hordes of monk orks, doing tibetan chanting (Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh, Waaaaaaaaaaa-). Pure mind and soul, leaving nothing but krumping.
Then Orkfucius will calmly ponder the right way to govern a WAAAGH, and leave this fight to reform the orkish society.

I mean...they probably think WTF.

The range we have is silly, but more than that we have Alphas and Alpha +.

Those power levels are not normal. To my knowledge only the Eldar are capable of getting to that level innately and that's cause their old one BS.

I feel that Jane needs to stay and do 6 psyker hunting and 2 counter intel because we were warned by Klovis that chaos is trying to infiltrate while we are distracted.

Also we should grab Anti-Psyker Training: Militia because that provide a boost to fighting psykers (not in time for the tyranids) and also for dealing with psykers on avernus where every bit we can do helps.

For naval one of the actions should be on upgrading the shipyards, that will take time but cutting the time for repairs and new construction will be well worth it.

Admin I am feeling three admin reforms and either education review or retry education reform part 3 if it fails in year 5.

Mechanicus is bioligis action, maybe the fixing the thunder warriors chain?

wouldn't that just lead them to becoming the krork after all a complete lack of discipline and meaningful self control are the main lines that split the orks from the krorks
Except they'll be kind of an evil Krork, one still under influence of their orkish gods.
So essentially a Stormboy WAAAGH, since their shocktroops are known for actually following orders.

Yes, but those are the size of planets, I'm talking things not larger than most stellar bodies :D
that was when they were fighting the crons the nids have had more than enough time to improve , also if an apex class ends up showing we are boned cause apex class are more than powerful enough to effect whole sectors of space at a time , just like at stuff emps used to pull off for context , the crons only beat that cause they fought the old ones an entire race of apex class psykers

I know that...the context was about how weird humans are for being able to naturally produce alpha + psykers and that only the Eldar seem to be able to create ones in non massive bodies otherwise.

The Nid Apex's were disqualified for being planets.

I've somehow just realized this is called The Long Night Part One... how long is this thing going to be overall?

I'm pretty sure da Boyz in green can produce alpha plus weirdboyz, if one somehow manages to survive.

Durin wants to go till the emperor comes back. In 3000-13000 years...

I'm assuming 50 year turns will eventually be a thing.

I would not think so, the Ork gods are the rage, the madness and even the stupidity, remove that and you have Kork.
I like to compare Orks to Skaven.
Both are numerous and ever-replenishing, both have this... insanity to them, and both are governed by some bestial god(s).

And I sometimes think to myself- what would happen if you forced a bunch of skaven through a meditation routine?
And I came to a conclusion- you'll have a slower but less erratic and more kunning rat. Still backstabbing and insane, but less so.
And I think same would go to Orks. Less eager for krumping, but more delibarate and patient. You won't erase their bloodlust- merely temper it.

Krork is like replacing rats with home mice. Calming is like giving the rat a bath. It's still a rat.

Didn't Jane mention that she wanted to look at the Thunder Warriors to use as anti-psyker forces? They would be great as such assets since they are meant to be the kind of elites that can easily be made in a short time which is perfect for anti psyker forces since if we do suffer losses where we lose most of our anti psyker forces we can quickly build up a number of replacements far quicker than normal even if it is expensive.

Could we not ask the lizardmen for help because we send the most powerfull of our hunters away to protect our allies from tyranids?
