Bloom bee- Bees capable of massively boosting a plants growth rate, either for farming or for battlefield preparation. Goes well with the more dangerous Avernite Flora. 20,000 Credits for breeding population
This seems like it could give us a big boost to our food production, which would be very useful. Possibly these could even be passed along to other worlds of the Trust to improve crop yields for them as well. That could further raise the population Midgard could support.

I think this could actually be the most useful of the options in the long run.

Bolehs spiders and Cold ones sound amazing, for anti-fauna duty for the spiders alongside the knights and the cold ones for the Helguard Rough Riders.

Whooooo...

I want them all.

@Durin
1. I take it both sides are keeping things in reserve like Magma Wyrms for the Skinks and the Adamantium metal for the Sarus?
1. yes, this is what they are willing to trade at the moment
@Durin, will we lose Civilian and/or Military Morale if we buy a breeding population of Bolehs Spiders?
no but they will give massive morale penalties to Avernite units deployed near them

@Durin
1. Is the morale penalty for working alongside the Bolehs spiders a temporary malus until our forces get used to them or will it always remain?

I'm just going to assume these are in aggregate game-changing useful.

(1+20+4+20+5+50+15+2+2+3+20+1)*1000=143k Credits

Sooo the limiting factor appears to be that the Skinks can sell 143k of stuff. So the Saurus are capped at 150k.

That's not to bad honestly.

We can only by 195K credits of Saurus stuff anyway.

My currently prefered option of high relic shields and armour for the grandmaster hunters and last hunters would cost 108,000 credits ((15+25)=40*2700(1200+1500)=108,000 Credits)

Why? We already have adamantium.
Best case scenario if this material can be mass produced we can equip every human on avernus and maybe beyond with it since as Shard says its cheaper and the Saurus don't have access to as much psycic nonsense as the Skinks (no active psykers to our knowledge at least.)

This is unlikely, its probably created via Avernus's infinite resource generation or some mystical process that only the Saurus can do given to them by the Old Ones, but even then its an adamantium level metal that after 60 + million years association with the Saurus and creating relics likely has advantages in that area, since that's more than long enough for a warp echo to form in that capacity, to say nothing of powerful souls helping it along.

In general I am trying to keep my hopes down, but I have good hopes for it.

@Durin, what do the skinks plan on doing with 3.9 billion metal? That's a very large amount of metal.
Make a giant magnifying glass so they can roast the Saurus like ants.

Note that for the Saurus trade, the higher tech weapons cost increases much more than their value for some reason. I would recommend not selling the exotic weapons at least.

Skinks... it would have been good to have a warning before we sold most of our metal to the rest of the Trust. We could have also bought more food. This is really badly timed.

I am very leery of selling them stuff per year in perpetuity and if it was up to me I would not sell them anything at under these terms.

Artifact weapons.

Buy the best for our Heroes.

Don't buy much for our psykers, and focus on shields.

Last Hunters are snipers (people seem to believe) and thus have little use for any of this.

Give Psyker Hunters as much as we can afford.

Then give some things to Lifeguard, shield focus probably, and if there are cr leftover buy some stuff for Helguard Regimental Champions.

Skinks.

All the breeding population that we can afford, Bloom Bees being a priority.

Note that having a controllable breeding pop of a species will very likely help with researching them and their psyker power a great deal.

When breeding pops are not available, buy one or a few examples at most for study.

Ignore the spiders. Not remotely worth the morale penalty or the trouble of reducing it.

That would make sense if they have a large enough mountain to place it on, otherwise the only way they could aim it where they need to aim it would make it fall under the same issue that orbital lance fire has, namely that it'd be too inaccurate to work properly.
True, but they are in a jungle, I imagine passive aggressively setting the enemies's bit of it on fire works just as well for them.

+ In their case it likely turns into a super lazer beam of doooooooooom due to old one nonsense.

But, in all seriousness...no idea. mmm

Maybe its like the WHF lizardmen, where they're so distracted by constant fighting that a lot of cities have been destroyed so they're using our materials to rebuild them ASAP without weakening their Saurus front?

True, but they are also selling us stuff in perpetuity if I understand this correctly.

Last Hunters are snipers (people seem to believe) and thus have little use for any of this.
Actually they do, they get a plus 10-15 boost as I understand it.

After all weapons do include bows, and throwing weapons and other things in addition to melee weapons. Which also benefit :)

I'll check some things too hopefully.

Edit: Confirmation in Discord, the Skinks and the Saurus are also giving us their stuff in perpetuity barring the artifacts which are one offs and the Grandmaster Hunters and Last Hunters each get a +10-15 boost from high relic shields and weapons.

They are selling us artifact weapons or animals. Not a constant supply of such. Even if part of the deal was replenishing losses (which, why), that hardly compares.

And without shields? Remember that we did not give them decent defense runes because apparently they don't need them? And what boost would, say, psyker hunters get from the same equipment?

1. remain, it might shrink a bit but they are spiders and you are Avernites
@Durin if we manage to achieve peace between both sides, would that unlock new weapons and/or animals to buy, or discount in the ones we are offered?
yes it would

No they are selling us a constant supply of each, and given how powerful both are I'd say it very much compares considering that what they're asking for is a tiny investment of metal compared to our (3.9 billion metal isn't much vs 3 trillion in the bank and our income) and weapons primitive by both our standards and the Tau.

No idea didn't ask, will now.

In exchange we get magic weapons that can boost our elite to even greater heights and wildlife that can trash our modern formations...as well creatures capable of eating titans.

Did I mention eating titans.

Legio Helheim is a GOOOO.

@Durin
1. Are the Titanicus interested in having giant dino back up for their titans?
2. What bonus will the last hunters expect to get without high level shields. Obviously they'll loose the reduction in casulties?
