No that was for the assassins guild the fortress of the soulless is suppose to be completely cut off from the warp.
Ok, maybe, but I consider The Fortress of the Soullses a worthwhile use of Lin´s actions, since depending on the result with the Eldar Pantheon, we may not have all that much to research afterwards (at least not without the risk of a Bad End), and an alliance and maybe even the chance of using Imperial Assasins would be great, especially since we have to deal with so many Psykers.

The Assassins have more important things to do then expose themselves for our benefits.

I think that we should hold off on this at least until our internal security is near airtight. Like being reasonably confident that we have no Alpha Legionnaries running around.

Or alternatively are slowly going mental and degenerating into inter temple warfare under the stress of cabin fever in the face of the universe burning.

They are active in the Galaxy. They are only safe because they have a unknown fall back position that no one knows about. If we go a look for it and find it we destrory their greatest advantage.

We are going to have to find the Fortress of the Soulless sooner or later. We need to coordinate with them and our allies. We need to give them our tech to have in case the worst happens. Also they have some of the most advance human tech ever. My personal opinion is that the Lion and Custodies and several other Imperium institutions are there.

We already gave out our tech to the main human polities incase anything happened. And as people have repeatedly pointed out if they wanted to get into contact with the main human polities they would have by now. If they haven't they likely have their own reasons for it.

In either case, let's wait until this war is over and we have several actions to make sure our security is as tight as possible. Considering the fact that the war will severely weaken local Chaos forces and give us a time-limited opportunity to expand (and then there's the Dragon's Nest merger), I'm not sure we'll be able to do it in the better half of a century.

I disagree. its entirely possible they have reached out to one or more human power, and they are simply keeping the information on need to know. But even if that is not the case, we can assume they are smart enough to make the call of weather or not to contact other human powers on their own.

Alright, Durin said on Discord that it will take 5 years to heal Guilliman.

The Lion is a asshole who hates his brothers and thinks he is better than they will ever be. I think the Lion is in charge. Also the Custodies May have technology that can help us with Guilliman or know something.

One of the main problems with the Imperium was almost no coordination between factions. The galaxy is getting worse by the year and we need ever sane polity working together for the better or we may not be able too. The fortress of the Soulless most likely does not know about us or the secret alliance.

Also the last time the Lion tried to create a polity with his brothers well it went real bad and Guilliman kicked him out of Ultramar and told him not to come back ever. It did not end well for him and he has not had thousands of years to grow up and most likely still acts like a child who thinks he is better than everyone.

If the assassins guild have a way to transverse the galaxy at a reasonable speed we need it. With it we can coordinate between us and our allies maybe even bring in more people. Like say the blood angels or any other large astartes empire.

If they don't we can negotiate with the Eldar to provide guides to the webway and coordinate efforts.

And what are the chances of Lin succeeding and surviving the ordeal?

Man, this is WH40K, being reasonable is the exception.

I must point out that the whole idea of the Tech Exchange was ours. Better safe than sorry.

Durin also said that Ridcully divining the Quartus Nids would only have a small impact. I would suggest that those divination actions be used on something better like divining Emps birth or ways to heal Guilman

Well, he said small but existant. Probably like +1~+2, but those +1 or +2 is worth like planets worth of people.

Although I am fine with switching if others are fine as well.

I feel like potentially finding and getting Lion to help or figuring out how to heal Guilman would help Quartus a whole lot more than just a planet or two especially since they can afford that price

@Durin how little will diving the fleet help? Would the primarchs want us too?

Edit also anyone else notice the massive increase in gross income of thrones and Food? Is it a mistake?

Also, we might want to build up our forces even after the war ends. Secondus has at least decent security (according to Discord), but if Lin succeeds at healing Guilliman, we might want to be careful, since there's no way a Primarch popping up and absolutely wrecking things would go unnoticed.
