-[x] We have agreed to and currently in talks with Dragon's nest in forming a single polity. When combined and given all our technology, together we will be able to quadruple our current military strength. As well as giving them a boost they will also be able to upgrade. While we are all worrried about the Tyranids they are not the only problem we are facing. With a Waagh in the region expected to hit the chaos polities we need are allies even more and tech exchange will help them and us greatly. For those of you worrried about tech theft we do have agreements helping Dragon's nest with their spy problem.

Some good points were made so changed my vote.

So I think that's around 1.23 million minor battle psykers, 18,523 major battle psykers and 1676 primaris? I'm a bit unsure what some of the numbers refer to since there is no description for them but I think this is right.

I personally think that giving technology to Dragon Nest now is a greater risk than what people imagine. It seems like a common point on all major supporters' arguments for the second option is that now that the local Chaos polities are going to suffer extreme losses due to the Waagh and the Tyranids they aren't going to be able to capitalize on our stealed technology, and this is true. This doesn't change, however, the situation for their local spies, who can still obtain it and give them to their employers, who are probably very influential people in these polities who can always run away to somewhere else if, as it seems like it will be from what we know, the situation will became too hot for them.

And then, when the knowledge of the origin of that technology and its similiarities with that of the others major human polities are going to be discovered, we are going to risk a major chaos crusade against us, while those who can already steal it are good enough to not spread that knowledge to someone else.

@Durin

1. Since babies get souls only a little bit before they're born, does that mean that those born 2 months premature are soulless since it's 2 months since before they were supposed to get a soul?
2. If they do get souls, are they more vulnerable to daemonic possession than those who were born on schedule?

1. they get a soul when born no matter what
2. no tests have been done, but likely so

Guys, do keep in mind that with choice 1 can afford to reallocate some of Rid's actions towards something else while with choice 2 we have to take more actions towards the BD. So it's kind of like a balance. Go with choice 1 where our allies won't be able to expand on what they can help with, but we can use more scrys on the war. Go with option 2 and the BD can help us a lot more, but we have to allocate scrys for finding spies that we could have used for the war and additional favors.

If we're giving them literally all of our T1 and T2 tech, we really need to scry for spies anyways. That's the kind of stuff that the lower level spies are likely to be able to get a hold on.

The fact that they'll be able to make Gjallorns was the deciding factor for me.

So we have a dead Norn Queen that just appeared in Max secure specimen cage 3 weeks after asking.

Also good news bad news. More'lex, Assour And Amirka know but no one knows what the Tryanids are or very few in the region.

Getting a dead Norn Queen is sweet. I wonder if the Hive Mind is a bit freaked out that a Norn Queen just up and disappeared.

It's unfortunate that none of the Chaos polities know what the Shadow in the Warp is, but at least they know it's coming. They won't be able to divine what it is, but they could probably divine the aftermath for planets it hits. They will also hopefully get a clue when the Trust and the Eldar start burning worlds in the initial splash zone.

How important are Norn Queens?

They're the Nids that make more Nids. The loss of only just this one probably won't be a huge slowdown for the Hive Fleet since it's so big, but we basically just got a full genetic repository for this Hive Fleet. That will hopefully ensure the resulting poison will affect any organism in the Hive Fleet, including their Dreadnought.

While killing the Norn Queen would Cassie a disruption it would only be a temporary one. With the death of the Norn Queen would have caused a huge disruption it would have also started the immediate spawning of more Norn queens. Also the death of a Norn Queen send s a huge disruption in the warp. It use to block out the Astronomican in the past. Hmmm it may make warp travel harder right after we kill a Norn Queen.
