New info from Discord:

1. random_npc asked this question in Discord to Durin:
"if we give them [the Dragon's Nest] the plans for them, will the blood dragons be able to roll out enough Gjallarhorn Battle cruisers to make a major impact before the nids show up?"

Durin confirmed that they would be able to. This means that the Dragon's Nest could actually make a difference in the coming war if we give them the T3 tech.

2. I also asked what the risk of the T3 tech being stolen would be now that the spies in important positions have been removed, and Durin said Rotbart thinks it's a low risk. EDIT - in the short term. Chances go up as time increases, though the same could be said for it being stolen from us too since infiltrators will keep trying.

-[X] Provide Dragon's Nest will all Tier 1 and 2 technology that you have access to along with Tier 3 Technology that is intended for use by Astartes.
-[X] Point out that the Blood Dragons are still dealing with significant numbers of spies from Chaos polities, possibly including agents of the Alpha Legion. Until Grandmaster Ridcully and the Inquisition can flush them out, giving the Blood Dragons higher tier technologies poses a great risk to the Trust's future security.
-[X] Argue that the higher-tier technology transfer will not help the Blood Dragons in the coming war against the Tyranids, as they will not have sufficient time necessary to upgrade the industries required to construct and maintain the high-tier technologies.
-[X] Waiting until the end of the current Tyrannic War will let us assess the future strategic situation better, as we will be certain which the local Chaos polities will continue to be security threats to the Trust.

-[x] We have agreed to and currently in talks with Dragon's nest in forming a single polity. When combined and given all our technology, together we will be able to quadruple our current military strength. As well as giving them a boost they will also be able to upgrade. While we are all worrried about the Tyranids they are not the only problem we are facing. With a Waagh in the region expected to hit the chaos polities we need are allies even more and tech exchange will help them and us greatly. For those of you worrried about tech theft we do have agreements helping Dragon's nest with their spy problem.

-[X] Provide Dragon's Nest will all Tier 1 and 2 technology that you have access to along with Tier 3 and Tier 4 Technology that is intended for use by Astartes.

-[X] Higher-tier technology transfer will not significantly help the Blood Dragons in the coming war against the Tyranids, as they will not have sufficient time necessary to upgrade the industries required to construct and maintain the high-tier technologies en masse.
-[X] The higher tier technologies intended for Astartes, however, should both be implementable to great effect within the short time frame as well as being exclusive in use enough that they would be difficult to steal.

Hey @Durin
1. Are planetary defences a valid tech fundamental for Tranth?
2. Could he make them faster to set up?
3. Would that noticeably increase our ability to fortify before the Tyranids get here?

4. Would we need to split ground and orbital defences fundamentals?

5. How would coming up with an idea to make orbital defences cheaper or faster to set up actually work? I mean, Do you award incremental improvements based on how good the idea sounds or require tradeoffs or what?

I assume that orbital defences could be designed to be transported via warp using either ship design fundamentals or an orbital defenses fundamental, but depending on which we use to figure it out the final product would be different. Ie. orbital defenses fundamental allows for more expensive defences that can be easily towed long distances like a ramilies by any ship, while ship design allows for the construction of a mass conveyor variant that can transport a limited number of ordinary orbital defences at once.
6. Is this guess right?

I'm a little surprised that Vulcan's speech isn't affecting Mikaelson's vote.
7. Is that intentional or an oversight?

I was thinking that with the recent windfall of production enhancing STC's we might be in danger of not having the actions to spend every possible resource before the Tyranids arrive.
8. Would the Trust loaning/trading Dragon's nest Advanced Material/other war material be worthwhile? Would it be practical, both in expenses and in travel cost?
1. yes
2. possibly
3. maybe
4. yes
5. pretty much
7. intentional
8. not really
A few questions for @Durin:

1. Is Tormod going to be an only child?
2. Can minor favors earned from actions done after the meeting still give us more warhosts?
3. How secure is Dragon's Nest right now?
4 How exactly does lending Frederick to the Eldar work?
a. Does it require 10 consecutive years or can we split them up and just count the total?
b. Does doing it lock down all personal actions or only one slot?
1. probebly not
2. yes
3. reasonably
4.a consecutive
b. all personal actions

Vote is tied right now. But we do have new information that by giving Dragon's nest level 3 tech they would be able to implement it in time. Also the risk of tech theft is low.

@Durin
1. Could we get a quick recap on Avernus Population Capacity and Avernus Current Population?
2. Uhh, are we overdue for either a fourth psyker student city or psyker hive? I notice our Trainees+Minor Psykers is greater than 1.5 Million..
1. current population on ground 28 billion, capacity: 36 billion
current population on moons: 44 billion. Capacity: 51 billion
2. you are

If it actually makes a difference for the 'nids the increased risk is worth it.

@Durin do we need to take actions to implement any of the below torpedos?

Plasma Torpedoes- These are a more powerful version of the basic Imperial Plasma Torpedo, having almost double the destructive capability.
Melta Torpedoes- These are very similar to the rare and dangerous melta torpedoes that the Imperial Navy had occasional access to. They work best against heavily armored targets and are notably more expansive then normal torpedoes.
Haywire Torpedoes- These torpedoes have a large haywire bomb as the warhead, which causes major disruption to the targets subsystems but little damage.

With the war coming up, what do our battle psyker numbers, and I suppose our ground forces in general, look like currently? The Military summary was apparently last updated turn 58 and I don't know about the Psyker sheet.

The link to the data sheet in the information tab is what you want it is too much to post to this thread.

Guys, do keep in mind that with choice 1 can afford to reallocate some of Rid's actions towards something else while with choice 2 we have to take more actions towards the BD. So it's kind of like a balance. Go with choice 1 where our allies won't be able to expand on what they can help with, but we can use more scrys on the war. Go with option 2 and the BD can help us a lot more, but we have to allocate scrys for finding spies that we could have used for the war and additional favors.

Oops I thought just voting section 2 would automatically combine with the plan in the tally

Hmm is it just me or did turn 127 not include the extra plus 5 to psyker hunting from the anti pysker military action completed in 126.
I may be overlooking something but we have worked hard to squeeze more anti pysker stuff I think ant to make sure it's applied.
