@Durin
1. Out of curiosity given access to the Trust's advanced genetech, experts etc. what are the chances of Syr's traits like Very Beautiful or Blood of the Vanir degrading or vanishing in her child?
2. As a more general question have the Vanir done any investigation into the Vanir trait to see if it can be replicated?
1. unknown
2.they have not. It is more nurture as nature anyway

Well you know who I am voting for. I didn't sink all those omakes into making him not to vote for him. I did make him so he was a combat expert who could actually survive on our bulshit death world of a planet. The fact that we can use him to form a Knight house on our own world is also of nice bonus. combined with his trainer ability should make getting those Knights up to proper skill level relatively easy by our standards. Not to mention now with the ability to create Psi-Knights works well we can induct them into the new house and with his ability to properly train them they're unlikely to just straight-up quickly. We only need them to be Delta level or above and we have plenty of Deltas and Gammas. We take those with the best promise to make it as a Knight train them for a couple of decades and then the next time we get into a fight we have a greater ace ready and waiting.

Baron Sigmund seems kinda generic to me, I'm not too fussed about getting knights on Avernus, we already have a world devoted to them with thousands of years of colected institutional knowledge, Avernus will be nothing but a side player in comparison. His big thing is a high combat score for living on the surface of Avernus and other candidates can sidestep that issue and not be mono focused.
Captain Askr Albertsson would be a great match for solidifying the progressive leadership within the Trust, he wouldn't have to live on Avernites surface which is a plus and we could deepen ties with Vanaheim.
Prince amrit sounds interesting and ties with the nest are extremely valuable right now, although I doubt his combat is up to par for life on Avernus.
Alfons also gets us ties with the nest and he's probably going to spend alot of time on ship which is good.

anyone who doesn't spend time on the planet is not going to be looked at favorably by the people. They are going to see him as weak and not worth their time. That would have bad ramifications on Syr she already spent most of her time off the planet and a husband who does the same is not going to help us. Granted at least she has the fact that her father is the hero and gracious leader so she has a buffer her husband will not. And as for vanaheim he's already switched more towards the progressive so I'm okay with leaving him in control. Besides we don't really need too many ties with them anyways she is a daughter evanheim as well better to get the second strongest World evanha on our side as well through blood.

Say, does anyone have ideas on where we can sink our excessive excess of metal production into? A two-ton paperweight for every man, woman and child?

Our own Admiral has spent barely any time on Avernus and isn't viewed as weak, if someone has a valid reason not to live on Avernus then it's fine as long as they are doing their duty.

Yo Vanaheim.

Make ships.
Ships require advanced materials, for stuff like... thrusters. And auspexes. AM is still expensive.
My point is, we're tanking the price of metal, especially in our own system. So I was thinking we could start applying our metal production for purposes it's traditionally been considered too expensive for. Like, making houses out of solid steel. Paving our streets with silver. Maybe a 100-foot statue of Rotbart made in gold? (with a solid plasteel core to keep it from collapsing under it's own weight)
Edit: Or decorating our planet and moons with holy symbols in metal large enough to be seen with the naked eye from the next system over.

Not as much though.

They've got plenty of forges for AM what they need is metal the raw materials since Vanaheim is not rich in such things. Its the thing they've been calling for the most in fact.

Order a lot of mass conveyors from Vanaheim, sell them metal and promethium.

Yeah Sirens offer sucks. Keep selling souls and wait for a better offer. The only downside of soul selling is the reputation, which will not disappear when we stop, or not for a long time at least.

Syr... I really don't like political marriage. Arrange a meeting with the candidates we like and let her choose one or none. If none, try again later. No hurrying this.

Alright, but considering that the last council meeting was rather recent, maybe send Clovis on a business trip to Vanaheim next turn?

Our Admiral has a few things going for him that the new guys don't. One he is a native of the planet, two he has proven himself several times in our wars, three is is constantly fighting boarding and counter-boarding actions, and lastly he his nowhere near as visible as the husband would be. I also think you are underestimating the combat power of the others. They all had to have a combat level that would give them a chance to survive on the planet or they would not have been chosen at all.

Syr already knows the two from the Trust well. You are also asking the QM to make the choice by saying let her choose. Our marriage was arranged for political reasons. We are at the top of the political powers in the Trust there is no time for love. These people were chosen because they matched what Syr was looking for. She will not make any more choices unless we throw all of them out. All that arranging a meeting will do is give us the players more information on the four. The same as when we made our choice for a wife. We also do need to hurry we need more descendants. The big mistake we made was sending Syr away to the Trust Navy. So now we need a replacement so we can raise them to take our place and Syr can take control of the Navy.

@Nurgle looking at the trade spreadsheet, we maxed out cargo space used.

Edit-Having said that we are getting a big boost to income next turn which I assume includes thrones income.

Thoughts:
I would sooner have Lin look at the Planet Mind than the primordial sea. To be honest I don't actually see any particular advantage in studying an excessively remote and extremely dangerous phenomenon. Leave that project for the Emperor to deal with after he conquers the galaxy.

Double warp speed. By Hermes that is valuable. Makes me rather worried about what they cost to only be 'maybe' worth it. Do they need Relic material?

Trade is disappointing. Also confusing. Could be a ploy, they are allies but not necessarily friends. Could be they think they can cheat us on the deal. Could also be that they know about the Vault and Black Ship projects and think we are asking in desperation.
Best to leave it for the moment I think. Perhaps throw some 'improve relations' actions or something at them then ask again.

Curses are rather horrifying. Perhaps have Lin take a look?

On marriage: Either of the Trust guys. She wants someone who can fight and unfortunately most of Nest's military are Space Marines.

Who was it that made the Naval guys again? I know that one was made from omakes as well but don't remember who did them.

It gets us out of the hole, but nowhere near enough to buy a hive without downgrading defences. Even with downgrade it'd be pretty costly. And just leaving all the metal we'll have lying around would be awfully wasteful. I think we should just trade with Muspelheim before Midgard next turn.

@Adventwolf
Your character is for me at the moment the absolut favorite. Mainly because I don't know the others. As such I vote to learn of the others.
We are not voting just yet none of them open up until Durin finishes up making the new character sheets for the rest of them. At least the naval officer I believe is a omake creation as well. I think Valkyrie also made that one along with the female naval officer I came in a little while ago.
