@Durin
1. How long can Border Lions live? As long as is needed?
2. Was He-Who-Walks the large Border Lion that mauled that Daemon prince in the first incursion?
3. Does Vlad think he could introduce us to the Border Lions or are they just to busy for it to be useful?
4. Wait how does she know about the Grey Knights? Did she just see them during the war on two fronts?
5. Back to the Border Lions, what exactly are their duties? Sphinx close warp holes, Penguins guard the rifts, but their position of border guardians seems vague? Do they act as a fast reaction force in the event of daemonic/hostile entry into the world?
6. Did Vlad think he ever ran into emps during his wanderings?
7. More generally did he ever get involved with major events like the Heresy...or at least screwing with the Cabal?
8. As he seems to have lived through it does he remember what the cause of the War of Iron was? My guess given his reference to a stupid human cabal is eldar retribution for said cabal doing something dumb.
9. To clarify the primordial sea and the primal warp are two different things?
10. Does Lin think he can even try to investigate the Sea, or does he think trying will drive him mad and melt his face off?

Maybe, but honey badger Vlad don't care.

1. unknown, interactions between multiple exotic effects can be strange
Ah always fun doing this.

Throw a Vortex grenade at an active geller field see what happens.

you could classify it as such if you wanted to. Threatening people on his level with treason charges however is a good way to make them disappear and never hear from them again.
Worse when they can literally do so and steal most of the treasury and likely our house on the way out without anyone noticing :)

Anyway

Augmentation Design (1, can be taken multiple times)- One of the pinnacles of Alkahestry is the augmentation of sentients to create super-soldiers. Lulana is willing to assist with the creation of an augmentation process and teaching it to your psykers. While you will eventually be able to do the same it is most likely a century or so before your psykers reach the required skill level.
I want this x3

So that will be my plan

[X] Plan: Save our last Hunters

X2 + 1 titan design is fine as well.

Augmentation and Titant are the obvious choices. The other two we can trade for with more mundane goods, or likely won't call her for in the first place.

@Durin can the Nynye Augmentation Design option help us with the Grey Knight project?

1. tens of thousands of years
2. he is
3. not as a whole but he can introduce He-Who-Walks-Obliquely
4. she did
5. that and they monitor the condition of the veil and detect future rifts
6. not that he knows
7. sometimes on the edges but he has never taken a central role
8. that or programming error, he is not sure which
9. yes
10. he thinks that it might drive him mad, his sainthood protects him from a lot but investigating the thing that makes chaos Chaos may be beyond it

@Durin, what would we get from picking Augmentation Design or Titant Design multiple times?
they will help you design multiple augmentations or Titants

maybe, it would be mixing different types of advnaced warp bio-engineering so could backfire or be brilliant

3. not as a whole but he can introduce He-Who-Walks-Obliquely
@Durin
1. How does he describe He-Who-Walks-Obliquely (for now abbreviated to HWWO) as a person?
2. Similarly HWWO's ability to apparently visit him in the galaxy? To follow up on conversation in discord, is this a trait unique to HWWO's/one that is not easy for them to do? Cause if its not unique to him and is easy then...oh boy the Lions be scary.
3. How different is Avernus now to the Helheim he remembers excepting the humans of course? For example he mentioned the Fire Drakes as the likely earlier version of the current Fire Dragons? Is is significantly different in that regard?
4. How big a surprise was being assigned back to Avernus?
5. Will we be able to hold these projects in reserve?

So it'll either give us Custodes astartes (Grey Knights being astartes 1.5) or mutated abominations unto GOD.

So augmentations and Titants process seem to be the best options. With the augmentations we might be able to produce lesser versions of the process Jacob went through. This is mostly for the Last Hunters and Thunder since I don't think we should mix Astartes psychic BS with ant people psychic BS until we have tested on others first.

As for the Titants (I see what you did there) this is a good way to make our domesticated creatures have a few super heavies variants. Bigger Phase Tigers, Stonger laser T-Rexs are a bonus all around.

[X] Plan Augmentations and Titant
-[X] Augmentation Design x2
-[X] Titant Design x1

Durin said in Discord that these represent capstone research projects, so I think it's worthwhile to take two types. For Augmentations we know that we want to be able to increase the lifespan of the Thunder Warriors, and probably our Last Hunters too. Getting a Titant design would also be useful in giving us variety.

[X] Plan Augmentation and Potions
-[X] Augmentation Design X2
-[X] Alkahestry Supply

While augmentation is cool and all, more points don't help with any given project, just give us more. And we have only two, protects thus far - Last Hunters and Thunder Warriors. Grey Knights, if Alkhestry could apply to them, would probably not be ready for a century anyway.

On the other hand, 150 credits of potions can give us a lot of very nifty stuff Nynye will supply us with for forever, as far as I can say. We could equip all Last Hunters and Primaris with Royal Potions and Poisons, for example, and even give some potions/posions to Master Psyker Hunters.

I am not sure how much use another super-heavy unit would be for us, and when we would find time to research and apply it.

[X] Plan Augmentations and Titant

Do we plan on trading Tau tech to the Mycenids too?

I don't believe so. The Mycenids have never asked for tech, and they have less to offer with regards to trade as well. I think we're getting as much as we can out of them already - we get the stuff they produce in exchange for some chemical compounds that they have a hard time getting. But their stuff isn't something I think they can teach others, since it relies on their own biology to some extent, so we can't get it.

Did we get anything the Sirens might want?

Eh giving them stuff may increase their production, but yeah for now no plans.

Did we get anything the Sirens might want?
Probably.

They want stuff they can use underwater and a lot of Tau stuff is probably rated for vacuum.

For now I wanna hold off till they offer true runes.

[X] Plan Augmentations and Titant

Last Hunters and Thunder Warriors for now. We can negotiate for the Knights when we can grow spares.
