This is pretty much the best plausible outcome. The Eldar are not just about to gain a maior boon, they got it from Ridcully himself. Transcendence is possible with this, even though his recovery may hinder him for a turn or so.
Also, this has demonstrated just how much honorbound favors are worth. If this is what you have to do to gain one, the turnout has to be on a comparably ridiculous level. It's going to be a hard decision what to get for it. I would personally favor something that creates future options, such as the STC.

Wow. Ridiculous Ridicully is at it again.

Andyouknow whatseven more insane? No one was able to witness that it was Ridicully which did all that crap. Which means that we might have successfully passed the buck to the Eldars.

Huzzah! Victory. Ridcully succeeded, the Eldar owe us an Honorbound Favor (maybe more? getting the scroll wasn't part of what we were told was needed based on the option, only getting to the very end of the path) and while Ridcully is likely sick, he's probably going to recover given the Eldar would put everything they can into healing him.

Now, this is the kind of bullshit you get Transcendent level for. If Ridcully doesn't get that from finding a flaw in the highest defense that Nurgle can construct and then successfully exploiting it to get actual instructions from Isha to give to her children, well, I don't know what the hell would. Even minor gods don't get away with this kind of thing very often.

Well, if we'd rescued Isha I would imagine that the Eldar would have also dedicated a lot to our defense. Like, they'd personally help defend us and set up multiple Krork domains in our vicinity, I'd imagine.
he dind find a flaw, he found a hole that Isha had carefully made. using a door made partelly out of living matter to trap the goddess of life was a bad idea
Oh boy here's hoping Typhus has finally kicked the bucket!
he did
I hope the scroll helps them. Dunno what the info is, but hopefully tis good.

Speaking of

@Durin
1. Where was Eldrad in this mess, since of all the Seers present he was the only one I thought would actually reach Isha?

Unless the info Isha gave also has how to heal crushing soul syndrome I fear that is beyond the Eldar.
1. Nurgle was expecting him so he was busy dodging Nurgle
@Durin

1. How many seers survived ?
2. Did the Silver Skulls marine make it out okay ?
3. How far did the rest go ?
wait for next update
How long will it take for Ridicully to recover from the various plagues he Has
a few years, less then a decade

Andyouknow whatseven more insane? No one was able to witness that it was Ridicully which did all that crap. Which means that we might have successfully passed the buck to the Eldars.
We probably have.

Thing is against another Chaos God, this would have been useful, but against Nurgle, stagnation incarnate.

How much will change?

More than that we've found a hole in the final barrier around Isha...that's critical.

OH YEAH

The big 5 reduced to 4 and Nurgle looses one of his best mortal followers.

1. Nurgle was expecting him so he was busy dodging Nurgle
AHA.

I wondered what was so important that Nurgle decided to go personally to deal with the problem.

holy shit biscuit typhus is dead and ridcully is still alive.
well i tip my hat to you crazy people you somehow succeded in this crazyness, good job.

Some upgrades for our seer that should at least be enough to get the piety paragon trait at a minimum. The blessing from Isha might be a boost to his biomancy skills and power. The scroll might be info on how to strengthen the shards they have to make them a more powerful asset. Or it could be knowledge on how to boost the birthrate of the species.

We should break up the honorbound favor and ask the Eldar to kill every ork and chaos worshiper in 300 light years. If we do not have to fight a battle that works for us . Especially since the two main places he wants to hit are our number exporter of Am/em and third exporter of am/em to Avernus.

I give credit to the sacrifices heaped upon the pyres by the omake writers.

I think it was mentioned that only Isha can completely heal Lin's soul.
It has been said...a lot.

Lets see what happens.

Remember getting to Isha is one thing.

Finding the hole she made and bringing back the scroll may have changed a lot of things.

...wow, just wow. I mean i believed but believing and seeing are two different things. This will change things, hopefully for the better.

you know, out of everyone involved you know who i think this effects the most, Isha herself. how long has she been waiting, hoping, for something/someone to help her? and in the end that personal was a mere human with the guts to try and do something crazy and pulled it off.

You motherfuckers it worked it worked.

I was already planning on maybe using this minor favor for something diviner related to maybe protect our weakened Trust from Rational Chaos and incoming WAAAGH at the same time, but...

HAHAHA! SO, WHAT ARE WE SPENDING THIS HONORBOUND FAVOR ON?

A goddess' hope reborn, that will have powerful effect. Even if Isha gave away part of her power, hope is like a fire, it grows in strength when given.

Even so, the hole wasn't something most people could expect to find. It had to be subtle enough that Nurgle himself wouldn't notice it for tens of thousands of years. It's a mean feat that even minor gods would often fail at.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that Nurgle has been reduced to a mere minor Chaos God and is no longer one of the Big 5. This was a major loss for him, but I doubt it hit him as hard as when Slaanesh had the shit kicked out of him/her/it by Ynnead and lost his Eldar Soul Collection and his connection to the Eldar in general. I mean, Nurgle still has Isha, he still has a Daemon Primarch.

HAHAHA! SO, WHAT ARE WE SPENDING THIS HONORBOUND FAVOR ON?

Barring a better idea, my suggestion for now is to sit on it as a strategic asset. It's the kind of thing that could pull our asses out of the fire in the future when we really, really need help.

No what we should ask for is a complete archive of either Eldar psychic powers/techniques or DE technology.

@Durin
So I noticed that the the blessing for the two types of rolls were different. I'm guessing the plague roll was hope and Isha's blessing working together to keep us alive. While the escape rolls and hiding was just Hope helping find the best route.
1. Will having Ridcully recovering mean mechanically we don't get his actions during that time?

What...no the big 5 is the big 5 Chaos Lords from the Great Crusade.

Abaddon, Kharn, Lucius, Ahriman and Typhus...

Well now its four.

Erebus would be on the list as well if he got out.

I wasn't suggesting Nurgle had been reduced in status...

Will the plague debugging stay with him?
He will apparently be cured in at most a decade.

revitalizing forces rushes though your souls, curing you

Huh, souls ? Has he changed already?

I know what you mean but I fully expect Durin to bring out his bag of shinies in the next few updates to make us expend that favor.

I think we should get them to deal with turok and tugozak's domain. that will give us a ton of breathing room.

save the rest for a big fire we need help with.

Wow. I was honestly giggling at the end there.

So, Typhus is dead huh?

So... which Chaos God are we going to deprive of a famous servant next?
