I remember once reading a demon trying to describe Tzeentch as being created by a lie. That it does and does not exist. Which from the info dump kind of proves that. Since Tzeentch exist and does not exist yet.

I think spies may be helping hide cultists from the massive amount of people, organizations and hero units we are throwing at hunting them. It would explain the hidden malice found. But we should hopefully finish them in the next few years, unless we get attacked.

Sol system being taken over by the void dragon is bad and good for us. It means the eye of terra may be put down. Which would than put it right next to the largest concentration of orks and the Dark Imperium. Which may be good or bad depending on how the current war between them is going to end.

I am still surprised that Turoq has been able to keep his people so orderly and beholden to him. He must either be so much more powerful than his lieutenants or regular kill them off when they start to get to dangerous.

my guess is that he's created ways to channel their desire to advance. The best way to work you way up is to succeed.

You know, by cutting out as much of the traditional Tzeentchian backbiting as he presumably does, it might have some real negative impacts on subordinate quality, stat growth, and favor income...

The spies on Avernus are very few in number and in unimportant positions, even if they wanted they would not be able to affect the cult number in statically significant way, the cults are many orders of magnitude more numerous than them.
It has been 12 years since anyone did a counterintelligence action so there is a chance that someone or someone's have advanced enough to start influencing things.

i'm not so sure, it depends if it's being channeled or actually curbed. the Dark gods tend not to care about the specifics after all.

I kinda doubt that—I seem to recall Durin saying that two or three generations of established papertrail would be needed to get a position that even had access to sensitive information, and there is a world of difference between having access to sensitive information and being able to conceal wholesale misuse of said position. Especially given that a LOT of attention is going to be paid to anyone that even might be sheltering cultists.

Really, them trying to increase our cult problem would probably hurt their ability to actually gather intel, as our problems locating them stem from the fact that the only thing they're doing that the actually loyal citizens aren't is keeping an eye open for sensitive intel and passing it along.

Eh, depends on a lot of things. That said, stat growth is fostered for adversity and a relatively static situation is going to have to reduce favor generation. More of a silver lining sort of thing all told—akin to our enemies noting that our very advanced equipment has to cost us a bundle to produce/maintain. I would certainly prefer a serial-backstabbing environment where their overall strategic plans change by the week, but at least their current setup has some potentially exploitable costs.

Honestly not sure if it's worth spending so much of Saint Lin's time researching each chaos god when it gives only a small bonus.
Nothing. Lin hasn't really revealed any actionable information we didn't already have. We already knew that Tzeentchians are ambitious and prone to backstabbing because the Imperium's spent ten thousand years fighting them.
This is why I've been pushing for Lin or Riducully to look into the Sanginour, since its basically guaranteed to reveal actionable information, even if that information is "is now an abomination minion in disguise, purge with extreme prejudice." With substantial upsides possible in Soul Binding and other fields if its not corrupt.

@Durin I have a few questions about Phased Plasma Projectors.

1. i'm imagining they are space cheap power expensive for their damage is that right?
2. how much larger than typical macro cannons are they?
3. how quickly do they fire? are they lick macrannons where the stats are a couple of shots or like lances where it's only one?
4. did we find any hints that deus was intended to rely on support infrastructure for AM production?

1. well space cheap for their power
2. twice the size of a dreadnought macrocannon
3. like macrocannons
4. yes, there is infrastructure for it to safely load antimatter built into it

Personal Assistant Selection
Personal Assistant Selection

After the death of Thaddeus you will need to select a new personal assistant to replace him. The position of personal assistant to the Governor has evolved into one of the most powerful positions on Avernus over the years, so only the best were considered as candidates. Finally you narrowed the list of potentials down to four candidates, which one you choose will be determined by exactly what direction you want to move Avernus in the years to come.

[] Lieutenant-General Nestani Rice- One of the best administrators in the Avernite Military, Lieutenant-General Rice would be able to oversee military projects and be of equal use at war as at peace.

[] Prefetus Tertius Rosalinda Orlov- Prefetus Tertius Orlov is one of Edvin's proteges, a skilled architect and someone able to overseen Administratum projects if needed.

[] Commodore Melanie Olayinka- Commodore Olayinka is responsible for much of the construction of your orbital defences, and is someone who can oversee orbital projects.

[] Professor Antoni Kovac- Professor Kovac is one of the most respected academics on Avernus, whose research into health and education is required reading. He would be able to help brings Avernus' health and education system to a new level of efficiency.

Do we have their character sheets?
[X] Professor Antoni Kovac

their admin stats are needed to make a decision cause otherwise the proffesor is going to win and only their admin if u dont wanna invent cheets for all 4 of them @Durin . Since he can do 3 diffrent action types seems pretty great+ he can probably do education and throne reviews for perm bonuses + some health stuff aswell wich is pretty great so to balance that out please tell us their admin stats of the 4 chars since that is the most important one for this job .

Not that one sided. Nestani Rice is a good fit for the 'never enough martial' mentality.

The players need the professor to more rapidly enhance education (education enhancements are slow, and a rare specializtion, since Henry Volkiss died).

Rosalinda is out, because Signe is awesome, but an argument for money saved can be made.

Melanie might be unable to survive on Avernus, due to being a void specialist.

Long term economy boosts from education sound wonderful, in addition to a direction we've been neglecting for the past century or so.

education and pop growth are amazing to buff. once they inevitably die we can pick somone who will give us more actions. Low C characters don'g have long life expectiancies on this world.
