Anyways, I am presuming there's no moratorium since this is a two year turn. I will throw together a plan when I get home early this afternoon.

Question - would people rather Lin delay the Tzeentch action or the Master Psyker Hunter action so he can preach?

To add to this litany of loss just days ago your personal assistant of two centuries, Thaddeus Starr, was killed by a chaos cultist while examining the damage done to the Lonely Citadel.
Ugh, this is painful.

Lesson's Learned: Strength of Arms- During the second Daemonic Incursion your military forces were pushed to their limit by the attackers. Those soldiers and militiamen who survived all have their own stories and tactics, many of which apply against other foes. If you focused on spreading these lessons and experiences the Avernites already incredible combat skills will get a major boost.

Time: 2 years.
Chance of Success: 55% (goes down by 10% per year).

Cost: 49,000,000 Thrones, 490,000 Material, 49,000 Promethium.
Reward: +3 to all combat rolls, +5 morale, +5 to all rolls against daemons all Avernites gain trait Natural Soldier (+10 to all combat rolls, +1C)
I wonder if any of our heroes will get this trait. Though I suppose it should at least raise the starting level of future heroes.

+3 to all combat rolls is a respectable gain for our normal troops too.

Signe gains trait Hard Work is Good for the Soul (+1A, +1P)- Signe believes that hard work is good for the soul, and unlike many who profess to hold these beliefs lives by them.
This puts her at 40 administration. Highest anyone has ever reached in that stat that we've seen I think. I can't imagine how anyone could ever reach paragon in that. There's just not epic enough feats in administration.
In recent years Saint Lin's condition seems to have reached another level, with his body starting to become frail, though he remains a mighty warrior, as his soul grows ever brighter. Seamus tells you that he now has a bit over a century left to live. Despite this he has cheerfully turned his attention back towards his work, and is one of the main reasons that chaos cults have not yet cause much damage.

Saint Lin upgrades Burning Bright (-1C, +5 to all rolls, more likely to gain traits, ageing increased to 1 year per 3 years) into A Shooting Star- (+1P, -6C, -1 all other stats, +10 to all rolls, far more likely to gain traits, ageing increased to 1 year per 2.5 years)-Saint Lin's soul is burning ever brighter over the years, allowing him to achieve ever more amazing feats at the cost of increasing the rate at which he ages. This has reached the level where he is starting to become frail of body, with the light of his soul almost visibly radiating from him.
I actually thought we were down to like 50 years left to live on him. So him saying a bit over a century is better than I expected.

That -6 combat is painful. He was 1 shy of paragon combat and that's just wiped out now. The +1 P puts him to 56 piety though. Just 4 short of transcendent. With it transition from "more likely to gain traits" to "far more likely" maybe he could actually get 4 piety and transcend his death.

The Conservatives realize they are literally accusing Scott of sabotaging the Roskide Mission and possibly also arranging for a Daemonic Incursion, right?
I doubt very much it's meant that way. More likely the idea is that she threw them on a suicide mission during the daemonic incursion and that was just an opportunity.

@Durin 1 why are we getting a hit from diplomacy for bringing Syr back?
2 how bad will it be is we don't waste time on damage control for the Admech?
1. Pulling one of the trusts best admirals, who is in the trust fleet not yours, from the front line during a war does not earn your friends. especially as he presence would be in no way vital. It would also negatively effect Syrs chance of promotion as having a full admiral randomly pulled from the front would be really bad
2. Hard to say

Remember on average it takes millennia to transcend. I doubt one trait could cut that down by more than an order of magnitude

@Durin ok but that does not make sense to me since Avernus just went through a demonic incursionand needs help. if Rotbart dies she will be pulled back anyways so them being mad does not really make sense to me.

@Durin sorry to bother. But is easier to gain points/traids in a single stat after the loss of points in other areas?

Also many thanks for the update and I hope that the situation with the cat is better ^^. Pets trully make life happier :)

Yes if rotbart died there would be no problems, as things are however rotbart and all his advisers are alive so there is not really any urgent need for her, she could act as your assistant I suppose but pulling an admiral from the front lines to act as your PA does not look good.
Also saying Avernus needs help is not really accurate, apart from some heavy military losses you can out almost totally intact, and your army is still ludicrously strong

I know that but doesn't it need something to start from, also at this point on this planet I'd think we'd start seeing results from how we're unintentionally removing those weak to corruption from the gene pool?

We just had a Chaos Incursion, that's a hell of a thing to start from.
Chaos doesn't work according to science or gene, except for Blank, but that's a special case, Chaos will always be a problem, unless you have an Emperor Level Anathema on the Planet.

Do we vote here or elsewhere?

Let her do her job. It is the best thing we can do right now.

Making the Adeptus Adminstratum get something to the right place at the right time, when there are fifty planets with the same name, in the same sector with fifty different needs, and orders that sound very similar.

I don't think we should do damage control with the Admech. They are loosing power and while it may raise unrest at these piont I no longer care about conservatives beliefs in the game or in real life.

They are not saying she caused their deaths or anything, but just implying and whispering that she and her people in general risked them more than they should've, since they would benefit from either success or failure. It's not a terribly logical reaction, but people are not terribly logical after losing two of their big figures, and are inclined to see connections where there aren't.

The problem with that thinking is that they can still do a tremendous amount of damage if left unapposed. It's not so much that we are indulging their viewpoint as much as lessening their impact. I think we should do damage control if only to continue smoothing Scott's path to progress.

The problem is these are dangerous fanatics that if pushed too far will indulge in highly destructive acts just to spite us (or for the glory of the True Toaster God, it makes no difference practically).
