This fucking planet...

What psychic power does it have? It's not clear what it is in your omake.

I'm explicitly leaving that up in the air, to make it easier for @Durin to fit them into the world.

Based on their source, though, I'd suggest
1. An insanely high pain threshold
2. The ability to deliberately inflict a horrifying degree of pain on themselves at will
3. The ability to link to anyone trying to touch their mind/trying to divine them and share that pain.

On the topic of entomology, do we have silkworms yet? Seems to me that it'd be an interesting export/luxury/specialty material for Avernus to produce. Maybe even a single species of worm that digests different trees in its environment to produce silks possessing different, interesting qualities. Feed one of these worms on a steamwood, and you'd inexplicably get extremely heat-resistant silk, for example.

Artisan Worms, they might be called.

Theosophamy - Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum
Stigmatise: a power that allows a psyker to create a disruption between a mortal and their soul which not only disconcerts the target but also creates a subconscious suspicion amongst their comrades.
@Durin, after we make their officers turn traitor, will this power have a greater effect due to the remaining troops already being suspicious following the treason?

A Giant Wyrm Trap
A Giant Wyrm Trap

Artillery gunfire echoed in the background, incompletely muted by soundproof walls. Day and night, the fired continously while the Governor planned with his council in their plans for the next phase of war.

"They've summoned the Third Circle," Ridcully reported, to acknowledgements around the table.

"Avernus will answer," Lulana spoke, utterly certain in her words.

It said much that it was only modestly unusual that Xeno species was trusted enough to be seated with the Governor at this time and hour. Certainly, far more trusted than the armies of their combined hated enemy, the Abomination coming to siege the Capital of the Avernites. Wise men had once said that the easiest method to unite a people was a common enemy, and that held true even for nonhumans.

"It already is. Twelve Magma Wyrms are convering on their army, as we speak," Thaddeus confirmed.

"Along with their diminished reinforcements, and Vanaheim's reinforcements," Richards stated. "Divination to aid them in their strike against the divided fleet now, with a lull from the chaos they would suffer.." She said, glancing at Ridcully as she trailed off. The safe and effective option.

"Or a sally," Achilles Waters said. "Risky, but they would be in chaos from the Magma Wyrms... that their plans don't account for at all. We could deal a crippling blow with ease." He argued, with that permanent certainty he had about him. It was usual for him, though the idea had merit.

"Unfortunate we cannot split our attention to do both effectively," Marija commented, though Rotbart was certain she was contemplating how, exactly, she would do just that.

Oh. Hm. The spark of an idea ignited, Ridcully glancing at the Governor as the pieces fell into place.

"The Third Circle Angyl, they will commit it if there is an opening to exploit? And they don't know of the Magma Wyrms," he asked, the Governor reconfirming the assumptions upon which his newly formed plans were being built upon.

"Yes and yes," the Seer answered, now almost in anticipation, his attention held entirely on the conversation.

"Then," The Governor replied, an almost predatory grin coming into being as he looked about the room.

"There will be an opening to exploit."

You don't have to do a number if it's just one question.

Has hasn't given a 24-hour warning yet. There's still time to poke holes in the currently winning plans, and inspect it for flaws, see if it could be improved, or if it should be discarded.
1. If the void shields protecting the psykers get taken out by the Magma Wyrms, can you throw deathstrikes their way? Killing even a large amount of their psykers would give us a big advantage.
2. Can you lend Tamia the Black Crystal Necklace? Same logic as giving Jacob the Black Crystal Sword. The BCN gives a boost to telepathic powers, which will allow us to better withstand the mental attack their daemons and sorcerers will throw at us.

Taking a leaf out of Perterabo's book.
Decimation came from the Romans. The word "decimation" was derived from the Latin phrase "removal of a tenth". It was a punishment that had nine tenths of an army group beat the other tenth to death. This punishment was the most extreme they had and was only used for the most extreme offences, such as large-scale mutiny or desertion.

What Perturabo did was performing decimation on his Legion not for any legitimate failing on their part, but for not "reaching their full potential".

@Durin:
1) Do the Chaos plans mention anything about converting Rotbart to Abomination worship?
2) There's been tons of Abominationist cultists on Avernus over the years. Does the Chaos General have plans on dealing with the anti-Chaos wildlife?

Yeah, but he's the most famous "modern" user.

I know its origins and why he used.

1. I believe Rotbart would decide that of his own accord, or at least we would be provided the option if such an event occured.
2. Done.

Durin isn't a player. Frederick can decide how many deathstrikes are the optimal amount to fire, but he will only fire deathstrikes at all if we the players decide to do so.

In either case, precedent says they won't be fired if an opening comes up. We had a Telepathy choir resting when Valinor took their morale check. The choir wasn't used automatically and we didn't get to decide to use it. It simply wasn't used. The only way it was going to be used that turn is if using it was an if-else action within the plan.

If precedent isn't enough to convince you, ask Durin for clarification.

1. no
2. yes but they severely underestimate the wildlife, they area ready for Trolls and Gnaw Worms, not for Troll Geomancers or Magma Wyrms let alone any of the weapons or guardians

also 24 hours left to vote

@Durin

Is this accurate?

@Durin

1. Are the forces earmarked for the 3rd Circle Angyl enough to secure overkill if the feint succeeds? (Jacob & Black Crystal Sword, Jane, Lulana, Primaris Aria, 2 Primaris Executioner Forces, Pyromancy support, Biomancy support, Diviner support, Daemonology support)
a. If not, what more could I add? Last Hunters?
2. Do the Sirens have anything to say on the likelyhood of Avernus sending more forces to attack the Abomination?
3. Do our generals have anything to say on the feint? (Is it unrealistic to time it according to the Magma Wyrm, for example? Or is it a great idea?)
4. Do the Abomination have contingencies for the 3rd Circle Angyl getting killed?
a. If so, what are they?

@Durin, in Deus Ex Mechanicus, Callamus fought orks in its early history and in desperation brought an escort ship into its atmosphere to blast orks. The cannons and the backwash from the engines as it flew back up into orbit did a significant amount of damage (mostly to the orks, but a bit to us as well).

1. Can we do such a manoeuvre ourselves? How difficult would it be?
2. If it's possible, how much of an effect would it have assuming a decent roll?
