This.
Upgrading forge hives is just going to get more dangerous so starting on one now in relative peace would be advantageous.
I wish we could get Ridcully's sanction on that statement.
Right, forgot those. Did we actually came to consensus how many we should buy?
I wanted 20. But that was before our RM production mysteriously took a nosedive.
Well, 20 would cost make 2 RM/T, so whatever. It's the Last Hunters that are going to cost us in that resource.
We need transport to send our troops to help other planets, so it's not purely offrnsive. Not being able to properly project our (currently expanding) military makes us gimped.
True, but don't we also need void superiority to even get to land troops? And how much void superiority?
We can't afford to expand small forge-hive (only thing Administratum can do to help AM/EM/RM production) this turn, we are short on materials (we need 83.5B materials to do it, we have 80B (minus other projects) available this turn).
Well, at least this way we're not risking our big hives to random Waaagh, as people apparently think are a concern - Rotbart for the next two turns.
You mean hell-troopers? And wouldn't artillery and void pdf be more important than... whatever else you're taking besides expand helltroopers, arty and void?

the admech option involves building 20 so that seems to be the golden number
It's what covers those of our top brass (also including Ajax and Odysseus, as was thought a good idea In-Character) who want/benefit from the armor (so minus Jane, Jacob, Tranth), and our field marshals. Nothing golden about it besides that.

Yeah, I meant Heltroopers. And yeah, current plan has Expand Helltroopers -> Void PDF -> PDF Artilery -> Ace Pilot School in order of priorities.
Edit: I'd actually go with oversee missionaries here, keeping the faith isn't that useful now, those in the shadows is useful but we will have low psyker numbers for another 5 years or so reducing its impact
From what I understand trainees weathered the Green Awakening pretty well and it's the dormant/yet to be found psykers that got their heads asploded. Meaning that it's next turns that will have very little psykers trying to pass the trials, while this one will still have decent crop.

Well, it sucks that Tamia is out of commission for five years, but at least she's not dead.

Also, it looks like Signe is already providing big dividends - our Gross Income for almost everything has gone up notably. Though our Relic Material income has gone down from last turn, and I'm not sure why since it doesn't appear anything completed.

Living Symbol of Faith (+1A, +10L, +2D, +7P, +1 Morale for the Imperial Trust, -10% cultist numbers for the Imperial trust, double effect of peaching on cult numbers, more likely to know about other religions)- Saint Lin is a living symbol of the New Imperial Truth and the fact that the Emperor is dead but not gone. His utter faith and deep understanding of religion is an example to humans everywhere.

Peaching? Do you mean preaching? If so, what does the "effect of preaching on cult numbers" even mean?

@Durin
Last turn we had a gross RM income of 30. Now it's 12.
I've looked at the results of last turn, and can't figure out what could have increased our Relic Material upkeep that much.
We started building another big cathedral, sure, and that cost us 12, but that should have been a one-time cost, and the upkeep shouldn't already apply, or the Last Hunters should have already tanked our RM completely.
What happened?

I'd really like to start investigating the Blood dragons/Dragons nest, its going to take a decade in total and I'd like to have a full understanding of them before the local orks go waaargh and we are cooperating more actively with them.

Their current capabilities are especially relevant.
But we gotta order the terminator armor first. Only takes one turn.
Hopefully we won't have anything else urgent to put Clovis on.

it means that when Saint Lin preaches as an emergency way of keeping cult numbers down the effect is doubled

changes in how psykers create RM

I could switch Person of Interest for that, but it wouldn't make much difference (it still would only finish next turn anyway).
It's a year. Who knows what difference it might make, and Persons of Interest actions seem frivolous when we have actual stuff for Clovis to do: Next turn we might get to make diplomatic contact with the fungus.

@Durin
I don't suppose we could tell them to change it back?

How come Svartalfheim has no problems with RM?

Do they have some proprietary technology that they don't want to share with us ?
no, they have several billion artisans who focus their entire life on high quality production, enough are good enough to make RM
basically advanced materials of all types is their specialty in the same way soldiers is Avernus'

it is a change in my system rather then anything real so no, I ran the numbers for predicted psyker growth and found you getting way to much RM in a centuries time under the old methord

Switched Person of Interest to Investigate Dragon's Nest. Also chose Utter Bastard Dragon for complete examination.

@Durin
1. In the update this is here
Currently Jane is in the final stretches of two major projects, and expects to finish them within five years time.
Unless the time for the super operatives project is wrong only one of her projects is finishing soon.

Switched Person of Interest to Investigate Dragon's Nest. Also chose Utter Bastard Dragon for complete examination.
I'd rather examine the super Orks, but ok.
