Right, if we'll be tripling the size of the pdf soon we can probably send like 2/3 to 3/4 of thEirik current size off.

Edit: Wait never mind I went back and actually read durins comment, we can only sent two armies.

*Reads update* Really their making a Legend? Can we get some more details on the economic realities of that and how the hell is it going to be deployed (will we get the chance to ward it)?

I'm a bit afraid their sacrificing a lot to build one when frankly 2 or more command battleships might be more useful. Seriously that's a huge fucking ship and one at this point nearly requires a contingent of marines or governers own to just to safeguard the fucker.

One of the things you need to keep in mind is that going up a size tier has a massive impact on how hard the weapons hit. Given that we've been having a lot of trouble dealing with the larger Hulks before they get a boost from the Ork gods awakening, I'm all for making an expensive ship rather than praying that a few packs of lighter capital ships will be able to chip through them going forward.

Actually we have the hulk of a legen class ship don't we? The fact that they are building one from scratch instead of buying the hulk from us kind of sets the tone for future negotiations.

But a command battleship isn't "light" especially one that is built around a big gun. It might be the right choice but at this point it's a big enough investment that serious questions need to be asked.

No it's the Hypercarrier we found , it is the legend class.
Nope it's own thing the legend is something different
Prophet class Hyper-Carrier- The Hyper-Carrier is a twenty-four kilometre long warship. This ship combines massive engines and powerful weapon batteries with the largest, most advanced attack craft bays that Tranth has ever heard of as well as a pair of Ragnarok Cannons. This ship was used as a heavy carrier capable of unleashing massive waves of attack craft while providing heavy fire support.

-The Hyper Carrier you have found

Legend Class Dreadnought- A twenty-two kilometrer dreadnought armed with a mix of lances, weapons batteries, torpedos and attack craft bays. It has two superlances and a pair of Ragnarok Cannons as well as a variety of other weapons.
I think they are having to scratch build the thing.

the people of dark age of Technology were BS
They were just one step below the Eldar Empire and their most advanced technologies were actually on par with them. Examples of such technology include Dark Glass, the Golden Throne, Castigator Titans, and guns which shoot black holes as ammunition backwards in time so they hit the enemy with 100% accuracy.

The Golden throne is actually old one tech the Emperor screwed around with, it's not dark age.

Golden Throne - Lexicanum
The Golden Throne was thought to be an ancient relic dating back to the Dark Age of Technology which the Emperor discovered in sunken ruins within Asia's deserts
The skulls and the fact that its ergonomics are obviously human-centric should make it obvious that it was made by and for humans.

EDIT:
Dark Glass - Lexicanum
Dark Glass is an ancient device dating back to the Dark Age of Technology.

[...] The origins of the device are unknown, but it is thought to have been used to test the technology that would later result in the Golden Throne. Like the Throne, Dark Glass was capable of accessing the Webway and was commanded by a central Throne that required a Psyker of enormous power to operate.

It's hazy since at it's Core the heart of the Golden throne allows for web way bullshit and that's something only the Old ones and their creations could do. Admittedly it's annoying since GW has "dark age technology" take the place of a magic in the narrative sense in a lot of ways. So it could be a dark age creation but frankly old one tech makes more since.
